I was raised on good old country music. No music is better than the good old country music. I love all our old country singers. They really know how to tell stories with their songs. This music brings back memories that make me cry in sadness and joy.
Vince Gills sweet voice singing that Osmond brothers song just about tore me up. Those kinds of old country heartache songs are just the best ever especially with that cry of the steel guitar😥💔 My husband and I have been together since we were 15 years old in 1986. I don't even want to ever know what it feels like to have one of us pass on without the other. 😭😭
I know what you're saying, I also think I love the Pedal Steel Guitar so much because I heard my dad practicing in the house from when I was in my mothers womb, she told me that she could feel me move more when the steel guitar was playing. Even today decades on, the pedal steel sound gets to every molecule inside me.

I’ve been to Nashville 4 times, loved every moment. I fulfilled dreams of going to The Ryman, Tootsies, Country Music Hall Of Fame … took a side trip to Jackson & Memphis, where I partied on Beale Street & toured Graceland, tearing up unashamed at The King’s home & final resting place. But, my biggest regret is that I never made it to The Grand Ole Opry. Thank you for this visit!
Mr Chris Young! I can’t express how much his voice and the pedal steel compliment each other in that Charlie pride tribute. Not many songs touch my heart like that.
I Love you Chris Young !! I Love your voice !! Lost my husband , the first time I heard your song !! I'm old timer !! Thanks you guys for the the Music 😊
I'm 83 yrs. old and I remember many a saturday night as a young boy the whole family would gather around the radio and listen to the 'Oprey. Miss a lot of those old performers.
I remember listening to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights when my parents was listening to it on the radio. And I'm I just turned 71 years young on this past April 21 st. of 2023
I grew up listening to this music every Saturday night on radio. Since then I had the joy of meeting many of these people whom I call family . Wounderful show have been to Nashville many times at both of the Opery houses. Such memories. Living in Branson Missouri and have many from Nashville come to see us now.
Mom and Dad listened to country music as long as I can remember. I grew up in the 60s listening to rock and roll. Then sometime in 1970 we switched to country and never looked back. My wife. Brenda and I would go to Frankie's lounge and bribe the bouncer to let her in as she was only 20 in 1970. Fifty-three years later we still are country.

I had the extreme pleasure of having a diner dance on the general Jackson went to the grand ole Opry. I didn't want to leave they had to carry me out. Of the best place in my life.
In my insomnia I caught this show while Vince Gill, a teen favorite of mine, who told everyone he's 65?!? I'm close to that myself, I remember him from his days singing with the Pure Prairie League and to this day their "Live Taking The Stage" album is on my playlist. He also sang "The Warmth Of The Sun" at the Brian Wilson Tribute concert, that is a very difficult song to sing and he absolutely nailed it. His voice hasn't changed to me, and while I didn't know the songs he sang in this show his voice sounds the same as he did at Brian's tribute which was in 2002. While I'm not a true country music fan, Garth Brooks was/is amazing. I've seen clips of him at his concerts paying respect to any military folks who are in the audience. He's crazy on stage strutting all over the place giving every section attention during the show. The guitar I saw him give away is something I've never seen before or since and given the power of that moment I'd bet the recipient began to learn how to play from that day. I'm going to have to check more of Garths music, he got me interested in his career. His extended performance was awesome and Trisha, who still belts out "How Do I Live Without You", like a champ, I loved that song since '97 from the movie "Con Air", good action, funny at times, and Monica Potter was really beautiful. I understand LeAnn Rimes sang it as well, both versions were awesome.

Wow, Larry Gatlin is still so strong. I know he is a super fantastic vocalist and person. I have worked with him before as a monitor engineer. The audio that the performers hear. He was a pleasure to work with one on one. He was was solo the last time i worked with him.
Larry Gatlin is certainly a "performer" but a "super fantastic vocalist" these days he clearly is NOT. Save the superlatives for people who can actually sing such as Waylon, Willie, Price and a host of others.
I have been watching the opry show a long time a friend of mine her last name was Babcock got to sing on the opry back in 1980 singing pastie cline songs and she sounded exactly like her . Don’t know now if she’s still around but she was awesome sounding ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💕💕💕💕💕♥️🤩
This was a special event at the Opry ! It was good seeing all the amazing artist and legends upon that stage ! We too have loss so many good of our dear loved artist ! It doesn’t get any better than the Grand Ole Opry! Chris you were amazing with your performances and your introductions as well! Loved it! You playing the harmonica was wow 😳 sure love when you pull that harmonica out ! So many memories over the years from that circle ⭕️ at the Grand Ole Opry ! Happy 50000 ! ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏
I've never been to Nashville, but I sooooo love Country music. I can sing along with and listen to Randy Travis, George Jones, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Reba, Tammy and I can go on and on and on. I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC!!!
Fantastic show and watching in Scotland and to see Mike Noble in the house band someone I got to know when he was with the great late Don Williams touring here in the UK.
I would love to have that poster top ut in my music room. Happy 5000 Saturday nights. Music keeps me from going insane. Thank you for bringing your gifts of music to the world. Chico, ca.
I love Mrs Loretta... I've been to her home by accident because I was lost on a back road and the road dead ended at her back yard. She was sitting on back porch with her husband She was so kind and sweet to me. I didn't know who she was until her husband called her name. I still didn't gish over her bc I know how it is to be surrounded by people all the time. I got a glass of sweet tea and directions with a big hug and was on my way ❤️ it was a happy day!! I love Mrs Loretta 💞💕😊❤️❤️💕
We were at the show, 3rd row back, center stage. One thing's for sure, the absolute star of the show was Chris Janson. That man is a performer who knows how to work his audience.

Thank you I am from Cheboygan MI
Wow, Larry Gatlin is still so strong. I know he is a super fantastic vocalist and person. I have worked with him before as a monitor engineer. The audio that the performers hear. He was a pleasure to work with one on one. He was was solo the last time i worked with him.
Hello ma'am I really appreciate your love and support over my dads music career, God bless you ❤🙏
Larry Gatlin is certainly a "performer" but a "super fantastic vocalist" these days he clearly is NOT.
Save the superlatives for people who can actually sing such as Waylon, Willie, Price and a host of others.
I love country music thank you for sharing this beautiful video

I love Mrs Loretta... I've been to her home by accident because I was lost on a back road and the road dead ended at her back yard. She was sitting on back porch with her husband
She was so kind and sweet to me.

It was great to see the 5000th Saturday night Opry show live on Utube.
We were at the show, 3rd row back, center stage. One thing's for sure, the absolute star of the show was Chris Janson. That man is a performer who knows how to work his audience.
