- Finally out testing a 17kg servo from Surpass hobby. Things didn't go exactly to plan, but I got some decent footage for you all to enjoy. Stock servo on 2S seems to be ideal for this car, as others have pointed out. The sand in this location is too soft in certain spots, and I got stuck a lot more than what's shown here. Post run update: Instead of swapping the old servo and radio back, I decided to put the SkyRC gyro from the Ford GT on this car. I tried turning the stock gyro 90 and 180 degrees and it's still reversed. The SkyRC has a reverse switch on it, so problem solved. I'm going to crank the rear suspension down some and give it another go in the dirt on 3S and see if it improves. Tempted to go for a late night test rip to make sure.

Yeah, not too bad for the size, just not much ground clearance for those deep spots. Before I started recording, I picked up a piece of kite string or something in one of the wheels. I'm like "tf is THIS?"😆
@scaleworksRC yeah I have hpi sport3 1/10 and the ground clearance on that isn't the best, I don't really use it much cos I'm always getting small stones snd grit stuck in the steering arms so i can't turn it lol, not ideal at high speeds haha
@@RadAbyss I used a piece of panty hose and some rubber bands to prevent that in the last video. It works, but only for a single run. Get that girl out! Let's see it run

Both my hpi cars are striped atm, both have no motors or servos lol.
Gunna build the hpi wr8 back up and get that ready for the summer 👍🏻
The hpi sport 3 I'm gunna try a drift build on it as there are a few indoor drift tracks near me

The "Air Time" shot was cool.
Music was fine, you could clearly hear the car so the levels were good. My pet peeve is a video where you have to turn up the volume when someone is talking but then the music blasts your ears out. This video was good. But that brings me to talking vs text on the screen. Try talking, nobody wants to read text. 😉
