One big problem with Showa-era Megalon is that he's dumb as hell. Without Jet Jaguar or Gigan to give him some direction, the most he can do is thrash around in what can best be described as a massive temper tantrum, and the enlarged Jet Jaguar was able to fight on roughly equal footing with him when they squared off against one another alone. Even if the giant bug is capable of countering all of FW!Godzilla's moves, it's questionable if he'll even have the brains to figure them out and fight tactically.
Am I the only one confused by the result? Like the Showa era being this strong is a complete curveball to me with what’s presented in the movies.

This entire video whatsoever if flawed , not a single thing here makes most of sense , like the showa era kaiju are much weaker than FW Godzilla , yet he lowballs him , what a way to set favouritism and biased opinions on a vid LMAO.

Right of the rip I want to add something: arguably FW most impressive feat not in Keizer form is when he destroyed the entire planet of Gorath with ONE BEAM after going across half of the globe and fighting 9 other kaiju. Besides that, here’s my listing.
First two I agree with
Gigan: final wars was able to one shot FW Gigan, a very advanced Gigan better than normal Gigan in every way. Not only that, but FW Gigan was the same size as FW goji. Low diff
Megalon: first off that movement is BS, and Megalon never showed any kind of that speed while fighting. Second off, Megalon fell down after Showa goji hit his atomic breath at the ground Megalon was standing on. If using that logic one beam from FW goji sweeps Megalon with one beam, and up close Megalon is torn to shreds Low diff
Hedorah: FW shot his Hedorah (who was bigger) and ebirah miles into the air with ONE BEAM. He then destroyed both at once with another one beam (also ebirah was infront of Hedorah, which gave him more cover) this Hedorah is smaller that FW Hedorah and also would be one shot. Another Low diff
Showa Mg: can’t really answer this without sounding like a fanboy. Solid fight tho Mid diff FW wins
Ghidorah: honestly this probably would be the end of the road for FW, HOWEVER in your scale chart Ghidorahs heads, the dangerous part, are right in range with FWs hands. Since Showa Ghidorah is a lot smaller (and probably weaker) that means that FW could rip each and every one of Ghidorahs heads off, if not he would hold Ghidorah in place and beam. If Ghidorah tries to fly away, his wings would probably also get torn apart by FW. Now this could be stretching it a bit too far but it seems pretty realistic. however, this would only work at close combat and if Ghidorah stays afar and only periodically batters FW, then Ghidorah would kill him. This is like a 50/50 fight, although by your videos if goji could win, then it is a win. High diff
I agree with most of this except for Showa Ghidorah being a high diff. He’s a mid diff at best. Showa Ghidorah consistently got his butt whooped in the Showa era. Showa Godzilla literally choked out one of Ghidorah’s heads with his bare hands so for FW Goji, it would be pretty easy. Plus there is no way that Showa Ghidorah can tank FW’s beam.

Also didn't Final Wars Goji tank a falling meteorite from orbit and slow the thing down...? Saying he can't hit fast targets when he reacts rather quickly to another monster like monster X who is an OP amped Kaiser version...? Im a bit confused here. How is he possessing average durability tanking stuff like that to his face?
He also said on screen showings, so by that logic most things not on screen shouldn't be used such as statements. Regardless, hes a lot more durable than given credit and one single monster died to a powerline who has never shown high durability. Hell, showa goji cooked three of them casually too! Hes not that strong and Kurmunga ate them as a food kamacrius as a food source because of how pathetic they were.
Does Showa still win? Yes they are still op when using all their feats. I do believe megalon could beat him... Monsters were getting beaten by humans usign conventional weapons.

This one's kind of funny. I actually liked to think that Final Wars Godzilla IS Showa Godzilla. I mean there's even an Atragon, & almost every monster (except Zilla) are from the Showa era. Not hard to imagine this being a film in the Showa era if they had kept making them after Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla 2. Minya is there talking to kids still, even. lol. Definitely the Godzilla movie with the most Showa vibes.

this honestly is kinda bullcrap to me, fw goji, if you did not notice, chucked a kaiju into a seperate city and killed two kaiju, killing two birds with one stone, not to mention his atomic breath would sweep mechagodzilla, he would just tail whip megalon and stomp on his face till' it gets flattened, do the same that he did to kumonga with ghidorah and sweep practically all of them.

Showa Godzilla has done far more impressive stuff he’s lifted 90k tons with just 1 arm and ghidorah world destroying capabilities weren’t even able to scratch him further more he’s insanely agile and knows kung fu and can fly he also has really good aim being able to snipe gigan out of the air who fly’s are Mach 3 and proceeded to break physics

Final wars goji could sweep Showa MG he could use his agility in full force and eventually win by tearing the head off and using his atomic breath down his body but if he were to fight his upgraded form MG2 he could come out easily if he could find the source of his power source that being Mafune’s cyborg daughter who controls the mech and also acts as a battery for the mech as he were to figure that out he could step on her and destroy the mech easily

While this video is somewhat accurate, I do have some gripes with some of the points you brought out. You mention around the 6:15 mark that Showa MechaGodzilla could even contend with Keizer Ghidorah. While I find no fault with that argument, what does make me feel like there was some bias in this video is that you pit a Keizer Ghidorah level Mecha, while preventing FW Goji from using his Keizer form himself. Also, you forgot to mention FW Goji's incredible stamina and endurance. FW traveled across different parts of the planet ranging from Japan to the US just to beat up other Kaijus. I have no trouble believing that FW could EASILY withstand a flurry of attacks MechaGodzilla throws at him. You also mention that Megalon would steamroll FW and yes his incredible speed would practically guarantee that, Megalon is generally considered to be one of the stupidest showa kaiju, while we see FW outsmart 3 kaiju at once.
I'm not saying that FW is some multiversal omnipotent ruler of all godzillas, but I feel like he was nerfed here just to give the showa era a chance.
Agreed. I also think that a lot of the showa kaijus got buffed a lot like Mechagodzilla for example. Final wars fought his version of gigan and that gigan has ranged attacks like a beam and being able to shoot out his blade arms at some distance.

@godzillaguyy I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Gigan DID have a beam, but in the movie he got hit in the forehead and his little crystal sparked and broke. Ima have to research it to make sure though. In the case of Gigan I definitely see him winning if he keeps up the slicing from the air, as Fw will struggle to hit him with a beam as I think he has slower reaction to Showa G. What do you think?

According to TOHO, the Showa Gigan still has one ranged weapon : the flamethrower in his mouth. Yes, it says that the Showa Gigan has this ability but he didn't showed it on film.

This is just my opinion but think final wars would easy survive the Showa universe but this was an amazing video dude
Here’s what I see as good stats for Final Wars Godzilla:
Strength- Seemingly manhandled Hedorah and Ebirah who all together underwater would weigh on a low range 180k-192k metric tonnes and on a high range 240k-256k metric tonnes.
Speed- Kept up with a rolling Anguirius who was slightly faster than Rodan a kaiju that flies at Mach 3 so Mach 4 basically, also you can see Monster X managed to move Godzilla’s head before getting blasted by his beam at point blank range (Godzilla’s faster than Monster X).
Resistance- Tanked slashes from Type 2 Gigan who even though clearly lost some braincells, has much sharper chainsaw claws, he also tanked the Gorath asteroid (Whichever way you look at it he still tanked the same force).
Overall IQ- Understood Minilla who befriended humans, is a martial artist, beat 9 kaiju in their respective elements.

He fought a upgraded gigan and won, Fought 9 other kaiju AROUND THE WORLD MAY I REMIND YOU and still won every time, he only struggled with keiser ghidorah after he transformed, Before that him and monster x were pretty even. Think you need to rewatch the movie again. Also every kaiju had the same abilities and strengths they had when they were released but only got one shotted due to runtime, budget, and more work if they wanted full fights.

FW Goji is twice their size, for starters. He went up against over a dozen Kaiju all in one day, travelling across the planet to do so, with no rest in-between, some of which are versions of Showa Kaiju shown to not only be larger, but possess the same sets of, if not in some cases improved abilities, most of which he was outnumbered by, and every fight apart from the one with Kaizer Ghidorah he ended in seconds. And, after all of that, he was able to destroy Gorath, an asteroid whose mass was comparable to a planet, with very little difficulty. He was shown to possess enough speed and agility to outmaneuver both Rodan and King Caesar, lifted and threw a 30k metric ton Kumonga into the stratosphere and showcased extreme physical strength against most if his opponents, throwing them around like ragdolls. He also single handedly annihilated Gigan's head in their first encounter in a single blast, a Gigan that is significantly larger with a hell of a lot more bells and whistles than the one in the Showa era.
I feel like gigan has a beam I mean if you are to constantly say in streams that spacegodzilla has a EMP then you could easily say gigan has a beam especially because he’s had a beam in every other piece of media gigan has ever been in except the movies

@@NeoETM Both of those are different Godzillas. The 2k Godzilla, Megaguirus Godzilla, and GvMG/Tokyo SOS Godzillas all exist in their own separate continuity. The only films in the entire era with connected stories are the Kiryu films, every other film is it's own timeline.

The only time we see gigan use a ranged attack in the Showa era is in gigabash but he hasn’t used his abilities in the movies very much so I doubt he’ll use them here as final goji likes hand to hand combat
