Hi Sonya, I'm so glad you like the tower of tools....hehehe. I love your craft room. Looks like heaven. As for what I used to hang the tools, I used small screw hooks. They look like hooks which are screws at the end. I got an assortment pack at the dollar store, in the hardware section area. When I screwed them in, I did it on an angle and they have held up beautifully. Yay, I'm s happy you will create one of these. HUGS.
Hi Violet, It was fairly easy, I just tilted each piece of foam board shelving and hot glued it in place. This thing is so useful. I hope you make one, you'll see how much space you save and how much easier crafting is once you have this near you as you craft to your hearts content. Hugs
I LOVE this.....so smart, functional and cute, thank you so much for sharing. I am subscribing right now!!! I hope you make more...I don't have a craft room...just a corner of my living room so I need the smart storage solutions like yours. Thank you.
LOVED IT!!! I'm running to the store today to get foam core board and glue. I am SO organizationally challenged and this solves part of that problem for me. I know I'm asking a lot but next time you make a storage solution, would you please consider making a video of the process? Thanks so much.
LOVE this!!! saw this video like a year ago and just bumped into it again. I would love to see a craft room tour of yours since i have a tiny craft room as well but I have not gone up (skyscraper) yet! It looks craftyliciously full... Lol.😃
Hi Kathy, Thanks for watching my video, I'm glad you like the storage tower. I've seen some videos where people have made craft room storage (and even nail polish storage) out of foam board, but this particular "Tower on a revolving Caddy" was my idea and design. It works so well, so easy, convenient and I've used every inch of it too. Please get yourself 2 sheets of the foam board and make yourself a storage unit. You'll love it. HUGS
I love this!! Thanks for the ideas. I've been wanting to make something like this & even have the foam core already. I especially love the lazy susan idea, have one of those too! =D TFS. Hugs, Christine
2012??!!!!! All this time, this video has been up, and I'm just catching it NOW?!.. I LOVE this!! And I'm quickly running out of room for my sprays.. I have a large walk in closet that I've turned into a craft room, and this would just be the cat's meow in there!.. Absolutely perfect! Only problem is the cost of foam board, where the only place I know who has it charges WAY more than a dollar a sheet. How many sheets did you use to make this? I will shop around and see if I can get it cheaper somewhere else. TFS, and have a great weekend! ~tina
Hooray! I'm so happy you like it. Yes, I should totally make a tutorial video on this. Also, I've been watching a lot of YT videos for Makeup Storage which you can adapt and use for your craft area instead. Thanks for watching, Hugs Hugs.
Hey Titi! Just now found this vid of yours! I love how your storage tower turned out! You did an amazing job--I'm really impressed with how much it holds and how sturdy it is--way to use that vertical space! I'm back to making vids again, and I would love for you to stop by my channel! :) Hugs, Nicole
hehehe....thanks so much for watching. One of these days I will do a craft room tour, thats where you'll really see how I exploit my "airspace"....LOL Hugs
Awesome storage idea. TFS..I will definately be making me one & giving you the credit, question: what did you use to hang the tools & tape on the side & your glue glider gun.
Love love love your idea here. One question. How well is it holding up?? I see you have it jampacked is the weight if your stuff an issue??? Thank you for sharing your ideas.
