- This is the Keswick Mountain Festival ultra marathon route though usually started from Crow Park in Keswick we opted to start from Castlerigg Farm Campsite as the route practically passes it. The official route goes around Fleetwith Pike but we opted to go over it as it’s a summit we hadn’t done before.

Stunning day! My wife and I bumped into you just as you were climbing Walla - I managed to just about stumble out "love the channel!" as you went past...! Keep it up!
Brilliant! Remember you both and thank you so much. What a day we all had !☀️ 😊
Absolutely Glorious the mountain reflections on Crummock Water well done again guys another amazing effort .
It was such a picturesque route but once by Buttermere and Cummock Water it just got better. The reflections as you say were amazing. We could have stopped and sat there for hours! Thank you 😊
You two are machines!! And what a bloody great day for it!
Thank you! Couldn’t believe our luck with the weather, made for a fantastic day on the fells
Awesome views ... weather wise, what a bonus of a day! Thanks for the inspirational vid.
Thank you so much. It’s great when you get days like that. Nowhere else we would sooner be 👍
WOW,lake district at its most beautiful in autumn, glad you managed to get to run in such fabulous weather
Thank you, couldn’t believe our luck with the weather. Shame to have been running, would have loved to have stopped for a while at times as the views were breathtaking. Still, managed a sandwich on top of Fleetwith Pike 😊
So jealous, what fantastic weather
Thank you. A perfect day!

@@martinpenrice Thank you, the whole day was a treat with views. Certainly some of cthe best we’ve seen to date 👍
Stunning weather, great run again 👏
Thanks, we landed really lucky!
Amazing well done 👏
Thanks Greg 👍
What a day Friday was! Must have just missed you - I did the High stile ridge and then Haystacks and Fleetwith. Cant touch your miles though!! Well done.
That was Saturday but looking at the weather I think they were both as good as each other for the weather. Makes it so much nicer when you have views like that doesn’t it! Well done on your route, it’s a good one. Been up Haystacks quite a few times but Fleetwith Pike was a first for us. The views were amazing! Thank you 😊
Wow what a day 👍
Indeed. Loved it! Thanks 😊
That was absolutely gorgeous! What a tremendous day with so much beauty. Thanks for taking us along. What shoes did you wear?
Hi, it was absolutely fantastic with view as good as anywhere. Loved it! Shoes were Inov8 Trailfly Ultra G280’s. Thank you 😊
Pretty much perfect conditions. Best wishes out there.
I’m not sure we could have asked for better conditions (maybe a little snow, we love that!) given it was November. Thanks very much 👍
Wow great day for it! Thanks for uploading.
Thanks very much, the views were stunning!
Totally agree! 😍@@TrailRunningCouple
Epic day out, the Lakes certainly didn't look like that today.
We thought the same when driving back home. Definitely landed lucky! Thanks
Another very impressive run in the bag. Well done to both of you. Thank you for taking us along. I am a sucker for the beautiful views in the woods. All those golden browns and oranges. Stunning.
I’m the same, love the woods and the way the sun shines through, makes for great photos and footage. Thank you so much 😊
I should have done that run and you should have done mine 🤣 I love Buttermere......Shame every time i go there though its pitch black! 😂My run would have been good training for your northumberland run as it was a muddy bog fest 😛. On the Keswich Mountain festival website now. Need to have a good look at the weekender. Looks awesome.
Haha, not a fair swap. The Warrington Way looks way too flat! This was a great route though I’m sure you’ll know many parts of it. Coupled with the weekend they have planned it’s sure to be a fantastic event in 2024 👍
@@TrailRunningCouple 'Warrington way looks flat!!!!' wash your mouth out. I'll have you know i had to cross over the M6, M62 and M56 multiple times 😁
@@AndyUltra😂
Can you possibly start leaving your route picture up longer please? So we can suss it out better... Not that I'll be running that far 😂 but it's nice to work it out and work out new hills to go up .. thank you xx
Thank you so much. We leave the map on for a couple of seconds, hoping it would be long enough to take a screenshot (not sure if pausing works?). We can start leaving it on for a little longer knowing it helps 😊
Have you looked at our Instagram channel? We always post the map as the tenth photo on our posts of our adventures, also our Facebook page 😊

Great video of stunning scenery. What GPS watch do you use for navigation?
Thank you. We use Garmin Enduro 2’s. Brilliant battery life and great for nav 👍
