This video series introduces the Permagarden Approach and how to implement it step-by-step. The permagarden approach combines components of permaculture and bio-intensive agriculture to create a highly productive garden using a small amount of land. It focuses on water management, building healthy soils using local resources, and strengthening local capacity.
The videos were created by the USAID/Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA)-funded Food Security Program Enyanya in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with the support of the USAID/BHA-funded SCALE Award. All content in the films was contributed by Mercy Corps, World Vision, Action pour la Paix et la Concorde (APC), Réseau d’Innovation Organisationnelle (RIO), and Université Evangélique en Afrique (UEA).
