Traxxas Came Out with a Drift Car??? Traxxas 4Tec Drift!!!

- Today I went to the hobby shop and picked up the new Traxxas 4Tec Drift car!! When I heard traxxas was coming out with this I knew I needed one in my collection! This car is cool, and man does it drift so good!! Right out of the box with a Fresh New Green body, this car looks so good! I ran it on a 2 cell battery and it ran nice and smooth. I truly enjoyed this car and was alot of fun to drift! It is definitely a great car for someone that wants to get into drift, and can get the same satisfaction out of a professional rc drift car.

What a beauty. This is my first time seeing this RC. I think the body with faired fenders and all the nice details really caught my eye. I wonder how it would do with rubber tires on the street? Great job covering the details and the drift demo. Awesome! 🏆👍

2 dot = soft compound = polished track surface
for that drift tires.

I was debating going up there today to see if they got them in. I have a white one ordered but due to rain I figured I’d be off early tomorrow and could go get it

@@landrywilliams9687 there are some differences, no doubt but the traxxas car is just so easy to drift right out of the box!

Check out the rmx 2.5 first. So many body options and an overall better car in every way.

@@Everything__RC I have a love hate relationship with Traxxas. I hate the way they treat the little guys in the hobby, but they do hit the mark sometimes on their cars. The xmaxx platform is decent. The 4tec AWD platform has potential. The trx4 is absolute tank of trail truck and really aint all that bad as a crawler, the slash although it's fragile and sort of dated is a good platform. I look at everything they release as unbiased as possible. This drift car needs help though. I hope they come in the future with a legitimate bespoke drift chassis with close to 90° of steering angle and a better layout for the electronics. We will see what the future holds for the car.

Will this car run good on regular concrete. I bought the red cat RDS but returned it because on regular concrete it road like trash. And I’m not gonna keep a car that only works for a drift track. I’ll watch the whole video later. I’m just getting cut off right now by my son lol

Can I put rubber tires on and make it drift less
With rubber tires it prolly won’t drift at all, maybe with a brushless motor
@Everything__RC I kind of don't want it too. I've been trying to get a 3.0 corvette which I cannot find anywhere.
