No real comparison to the Yokomo, it's closer to the GRK, especially in how it drives. the GRK has a larger drift specific aftermarket. I went to one of those RC chop shop Ebay pages and bought a slider of the 4tec and that was cheaper than the GRK base kit, then bought a clear stock body(about $80 WITH mounts), so before electronics I'm sitting at $230(including shipping) which is actually slightly less than the GRK + body if you factor good body mounts in the body cost. The diff parts are gonna cost about $40 total. So all in all cost wise, it's gonna be about the same as the basic plastic version of the GRK, before any serious changes. If you're wanting to be serious and comp though, Yokomo, GALM, and RDX are the top dogs for a reason. The 4tec currently is just a fun beater that does the job pretty good after light work, but only time will tell.
I like your upgrades! How we from europe can order the upgrades?
Wow mark very nice. Looks like a super fun drifter
Also look into the TSM/gyro sensitivity. TSM has the potential to dampen the drift. Maybe a necessity to adjust to suit the driver.
How would you compare this to the other kits, Like Yokomo or GRK GS2 EVO ? The Traxxas kit is almost $500 after the upgrades.
