Portability is my priority. I am in Sydney Australia and waiting for the Mixtour Pro to be released here. I am pairing it with 2 Dennon DJ LC 6000's and a Reloop RMX 60 mixer
Interesting that having RCA outputs disqualifies the Reloop as a Pro piece of equipment. It is meant to connect to a mixer or venue sound system over a short distance so no need for balanced cables just as a CDJ3000 has RCA out.
I recently grabbed this and love it but I don't use it as my primary controller. I have a set of Rane 12s and S11 mixer and use them for channels 1 & 2 and I have the Mixtour wedged to act as the control for decks 3 & 4. Looks weird in pictures but it comes in very handy when I have things like the New Years countdown and such running on a separate channel or when a request comes up at the club.
It's just way too niche. This is DJ'ing reimagined from the ground up. For folks to adapt to this way of spinning your basically asking folks to take everything they're conformed to doing and scrap it. There's just way too much work that goes into prepping your tracks to use this as your daily driver. Especially if all that prepping is taking place on an iPhone which is the picture LBL is painting. I can't imagine anyone wanting to do all that leg work with their entire library. Sure, it suits Luke & his needs but I just don't see existing DJs making the transition into this. Possibly someone that's just getting into it & already has an iPhone...even then. First of all it's not exactly cheap. Luke's always been a frontrunner when it comes to DJ tech. He always seems to dive into something at a time where it gets shunned but eventually gets adopted by the masses. He was an early advocate of CDJs when folks were lashing out against that & it became the Industry Standard. He made the move to Denon & made them a contender for the throne. He's a big reason why I have SC6000Ms, Prime 4+ & Prime GO but he's not going to do for Reloop what he brought to Denon. It's just way too tailor made to suit his needs. I'm a fan of Luke but it's a bit cringe to see him on a Main stage fiddling with an iPhone. When he made the jump to Denon his whole pitch was ditch the laptop. No Serato face, staring into a laptop and reconnect with the crowd. Standalone is the future. Become untethered. So now he's basically saying forgot what I said about all that. Tethered to an iPhone and squinting into that is the way to go?
To be honest... an iPad Mini would probably be a perfect companion for this device. Bigger than an iPhone but smaller than a laptop. I am pretty interested in this but I also have my reservations still.
I'd love to see a Reloop Ready with this build quality.
Totally agree

Ohhh…send us a video when you get that set up!

Pro tip on track prep, djay uses the same hotcue data as Serato. So any hotcues you’ve set in serato will port right over.
Thanks for sharing - does the same apply for loops and/or overviews?
@ nope
Needs soft take over mode for the fader and knobs. Traktor has this feature. Very important!!
Oh doesn't have this?
Should be standard
Yeeeaaaannnh boyyyyy!

Is this compatible with traktor controllers and traktor pro software?
It's the best way to sneak up on a house party that doesn't know it's a house party. Muhahahahaahaaahaaaaa!!!
im getting this now with the price drop.
It's 999 in Canada is that correct? US is 499
That's about 700 cas not 999?
It's designed to plug into a mixer like A9 or 900 that's already there. RCA is all you need.

Please emphasize to use with a touch device, tablet or smart phone. With a touch device no need for jog wheels.
It’s ok, I had to return it back. Very cheap crossfader
