Solid work, man. I had my suspicions since the start of the animation that the depressing feel of the environment, C13 herself and the ambience had to be related the reveal near the end. The build up certainly paid off with the reveal too. I personally really enjoy these slow-burn atmospheric animations, and the whole idea of the clones just screamed SOMA in my head. Well done.
3:28 Chuck McGill Jokes aside this was incredible. This and Assault on 2Fort are some of the finest female protagonist-led stories I've seen in SFM. The animation was fantastic, and the slow reveal that she was the only person on the spacecraft with all of the bodies of her past selves really reminded me of a Doctor Who episode Heaven Sent where he finds all the skulls and later realizes that each one was his and he's forced to repeat his experiences over and over until he escapes. Anyway, fantastic work my dude.
Are you telling me that a woman just happens to fall like that? No! He orchestrated it! Jimmy! Heh thanks very much! ^^ Lolripk's Assault on 2Fort is definitely one of my go-to videos for inspiration, as well as Triumbrush's Bad Day series. The concept of a time-loop film like Groundhog's Day and Edge of Tomorrow intrigued me and I wanted in a similar way to make this. Even though the days do pass-by and time goes on, they're still the same same in a confined space with limited activities and tasks. Glad you liked it!
Holy shit... That was sad, in a good way? I mean.. damn.. So Earth is uninhabitable by some some nuclear holocaust. A survivor made it to the moon, lived on said moon and cloned herself so she can continue a process to watch over the Earth in a sad life cycle of cloning... Damn that hits hard and to boot, she's actually hot! Throughout the animation, I can feel the sense of determination slowly ebbs into despair and hopelessness as C13 keeps failing her DNA test to bring forth a new clone. Hell, her skin turning pale was a good detail too, evident of her nearing her life expectancy. However, I do wonder how they are gonna repopulate Earth with just her around... Maybe those human boxes actually suggested more than they seem.. Regardless, I also love the rulebook she set for herself. Pretty neat stuff. Anyways a wonderful animation Dominzki! Here's to C14 to continue the cycle!
absolutely blown away by the animation. I don't usually like to comment on other people's videos, but this caught me by surprise. Can't wait to see what you cook up in your next video. So, soo good man!
The storytelling in this one was spectacular, and the unveiling of the plot from start to end was genius! I really like the concept of the story for this one!
Wow this was genuinely incredible! Ive never seen someone use SFM in such a serious and unique way before. Femscout seems like a great fit for someone that works our every day, but not to a ridiculous degree, with her relatively fit physique.
What I have understood her whole life is basically a loop since that's her 14th clone But every time she's close to her end she decides to make a clone of herself and copy to a new one Since the last one took her 5 years of DNA research now her next life expectancy is 12 years Probably as the years go by she could probably go 20 years or more Also it's amazing how she can cope being isolated in a space station It's really something impressive Animation overall is 10/10
Before I go on in this video That alarm sound is the same one at my work when we get mobile orders. I was half expecting myself to literally wake up at work
Good news I autisted out a little and made a calculation that if we assume C1 lived for a whole year and ever later C lived at least as long if not longer and it's an exponetial growth with a linear factor, also that C1-C13 lived for 29 years then C16 will have a normal if not longer amount of lifetime.
I did not expect a masterstroke flourish of hope amidst despair here. The outright inspiring ending was really unexpected for this kind of scifi. You have a knack for effective storytelling!
That's a very, VERY good video. The sound, the ambience, the animation, vfx and all that stuff is on point. Can only wonder how long that took. Good work, hope you soar to much greater heights in the foreseeable future and receive the recognition you truly deserve.
Thank you! This did take about two months to create, plus this was a *lengthy* experiment of mine to test out the low-fps / animating on twos -style. I've also planned a sequel which I hope would release early on next year ^^
Dominzki: Life is an evanescent window of consciousness that has it's participants struggle fruitlessly in a perpetual cycle of creation, where the only respite is the end of it Also Dominzki: Wi-Fi password: Exists Duke Nukem: Is for me?
wow interstellar vibes, Nobody? Anyway, great job. Even the frame skipping, like what they did whit spiderverse, was fitting the style. No talking characthers, No audio messages. Just what the eye sees. The book explanjng the loore, the message from C13. No useless talking needed. Great job, you should start making your own charcters at this rate
This is a *really* incredible work. I have a really bad attention span, but this managed to keep me in for the full 8 minutes, 21 seconds of the runtime. Truly an incredible work of shortform science fiction, and a wonderful animation as well as a wonderful story. Side note, it's highly reminiscent of the 2009 movie *Moon*. I don't know whether that's intentional, or a case of two people coming to the same conclusion independently, but still, incredible work.
I get the message and all and i know it's sort of meant to be vague but I can't help but ask questions. The core manual states that it was made in 2024 by Mann co, and is apparently the first version of the manual, with it also being labeled as confidential, meaning that this is most likely not a thing that people are doing all over this world, and that Mann co is the only one. The alarm clock also states that it is 2055, meaning that It has been 31 years since Mann co at least started preparing for this. This means that it is more likely that in 2024 or so, Mann co, realizing that the human population would soon be wiped out and sent a person and a cloning machine into space to try and eventually repopulate the Earth. However, the section titled "welcome new clone" and this being the first version of the book could mean that there was no original person that was cloned, at least in Space Station Phoenix. Most likely they either sent C1 directly to space or C1 being cloned directly on the station. Questions: - Why can there only be one clone on board at one time? (just realized that that was under the section titled "Saving Rations And Resources" so that's probably why) - Why were they so concerned on the clone's exercise? (possibly because they want to create a healthy clone that can survive for as many years as possible, which explains the joy after seeing the life expectancy of C14) - How are they even planning on repopulating the Earth with clones? - Why didn't Mann co make a ship for themselves and bail if they saw this coming? Most importantly, - what happened back on Earth that caused any of this to happen? I know it may sound counter intuitive but I do love films like these that make me ask these sort of questions. The animation and atmosphere is amazing, you can really feel C13's tiredness and later on, relief and relaxation when she gets, well you know. Thanks for putting in the effort into making this masterpiece of work and I'll be subscribing in case you upload anything else. Peace and good luck. (Boy this is probably one of the longest comments I've typed and I feel like C13 doing her work right now but that's just how much I love this.)
Ahh I love comments that go deeper into the video! Thank you! ^^ You're very well on the tracks of the story. Hopefully I can answer your questions well enough: 1. The book indeed answers that, as having more than one clone could perhaps boost the research with two brains thinking and helping each other at once, but since the fate of humanity seems to lay on one station in space with limited resources, they can't risk it running out too early. 2. Exercising indeed is to keep the clones healthy enough to continue the work and also to keep them sane. 3. As you may have seen in the end at the room with the termination and cloning pods, there's also the army of crates with types of humans, animals and plants. These crates contain thousands of different DNA samples so that Earth can start anew with a diverse population, instead of just a clone army waiting for order 66. 4. That has been left vague on purpose in case I will explore that story branch further in the future (maybe I already have a script for it, maybe not ;P ) 5. As stated in the book, most likely case was a nuclear annihilation caused by decades of conflicts that spread across the Globe. Although the book says that because Mann Co had been preparing for the possibility of nuclear war, it is not revealed if that was the true reason or not. It was a pleasure to read your comment and see how my project has given space for speculation about the story and the world in it, makes this all so worth it! I was, if you can believe, quite hesitant by the end of making this if the story would be too weird/complicated/boring for the audience, but I was delightfully surprised by the reception! You'll be happy to hear also that a sequel has been fully scripted already, though its release will take quite a while ;D
What a masterpiece. The idea of the story is just amazing, really liked that the clones teach each other with missions. Really enjoyed it and good luck with the next ones 😊
Wow. Very beautiful. I love the choice of non-splined keyframes, I think it helps accent just how many hand-keyed frames there are in every scene and just how much work was put into this.
I have to admit, shorts does make both guys and girls appear sexier, especially dolphin shorts. LOL. But more importantly, this video is really spot on, and the forlorn feeling of being in outer space, is a very chilling experience.
Wonderful but also very sad, the thought of waking up to see you're a clone and your job and only purpose is to improve the life span of your replacement and prepare for a future you will probably have no place in due to your life span. Shows how many nameless people existed that were part of very big projects we take for granted nowadays.
Some people (most) can be bribed with money, some - with drink, some - with safety, but i selling with discount for cute animated sfm girls like fem-scout or fem-sniper. God, i love it...
Femscout with tess hair, cute and lovely. Jokes aside, it's a good animation. I'd like to to hear a further story about what happend/is going on in Earth. And a lot of questions, which i hesitate to ask.
So I've just come back to watch this, and Mission: Arrival since Exodus is on its way. I just noticed in the core manual Chapter 3,is Space Station Phoenix. The Medic in Bonkrunners is from Phoenix Industries. Is Bonkrunners also linked to this video as well!? I know Crow's nest and the wanderer is. I don't think Blacklight Breach is (but maaaybe?) (I am WAAYYY to invested in this...).
Wanna hear something gross? You could make a clone with raw organic materials, a proper cell and an optimal ambient. This all can be made of rests of other humans or clones. Food, water, cloning components, and even the ambient for cellular reproduction inside a uterus could be obtained from the bodies, instead of sending them to decompose elsewhere. Also, the clone must had a social factor suppressor, or she would had gone insane, this means in Earth there was a better DNA modifiers, didn't those made it to that sputnik (appropriate term in the wrong language, just to bother readers)?
Love the atmosphere, the set and the story flow. The strong message from this makes me think for the future.
Guess that's what the billionaires think too, building their space ships and stuff to escape
@@Dominzki the such a sickess operations they doing that.
*but you can't know about future. watch out. there.*
this is the most hellish existence imagineable
Solid work, man. I had my suspicions since the start of the animation that the depressing feel of the environment, C13 herself and the ambience had to be related the reveal near the end. The build up certainly paid off with the reveal too. I personally really enjoy these slow-burn atmospheric animations, and the whole idea of the clones just screamed SOMA in my head.
Well done.
Thank you! Absolutely love your Scratched Universe -series too and slow-burn SFM films generally are a too rare sight imo
"Your turn now"
Kinda scary, hopeful, full of determination and heavy on responsability.
Great short!
I love how this tells such a complex and intersting story with no verbal speech is amazing, I love it!
The percentages being high but always resulting in a failure is such an XCOM moment lol
I'm more amazed that they are using LG monitors in the future then the cloning death cycle
Can't get rid of 'em it seems lol

absolutely blown away by the animation. I don't usually like to comment on other people's videos, but this caught me by surprise. Can't wait to see what you cook up in your next video. So, soo good man!
Let him cook
Very good short. Gave me vibes of an episode of Love, Death + Robots
The storytelling in this one was spectacular, and the unveiling of the plot from start to end was genius! I really like the concept of the story for this one!

Great video. The animation style is great
but frame FPS problem but yeah its fine.
Absolutely incredible animation. Very intriguing and creative animation 🙏 Well done Dominzki
Gracias
Amazing, don't understand how it doesn't have more views

Your use of camera made me realize how a good shot can elevate a scene. It was a pleasure to watch this film :D
Hate the fact that i'm late, still enjoyed it a lot, great work man!
Reminds me of that one doctor who episode where he's stuck creating clones of himself to punch diamond
I did not expect a masterstroke flourish of hope amidst despair here. The outright inspiring ending was really unexpected for this kind of scifi.
You have a knack for effective storytelling!
animation looks brilliant and you nailed the atmosphere
That's a very, VERY good video.

Got me laughing for real lmao
_Yea that pretty much sums up this channel_
This is awesome! The storytelling is outragiously good anmd you really know how to set the mood! Amazing work!
"Your turn now." - C13
That was wild. Excellent storytelling. Even in the face of hopelessness, humanity will labor to live on another day.
Damn, this was crazy. Very cool story and definitely wasn’t expecting that twist

This is one of the BEST SFM short film I've ever seen. The story and the animation style is great!! I'm sure some future uploads will be so hype!!
Wow it feels like whole movie. (i'm subscriber from lolripk chanel and you did amazing job)
This is simply the rapresentation of the life cicle, I love this, thank you for making such a great masterpiece

Pretty good. Gotta admit it. Wait... IS THAT SPACE CORE?! Anyway the video is beyond a Hollywood movie quality.
Ah, yes, nothing quite refreshing like a cold can of DEHYDRATED WATER.
This was up there for one of the best Sfm projects I’ve watched, well done.
Absolutely love this, the reveal towards the end was especially great with excellent build up
This is amazing, great work!
This was beautiful and gut wrenching. Amazing work.
I like the stop motion feel of this

amazing short film , everything was amazing the music , atmosphere posing , etc 10/10 one my 4 second favorite animation.
Dang, that was dark, but interesting and well made. Well done.
What a masterpiece.
The idea of the story is just amazing, really liked that the clones teach each other with missions.
Really enjoyed it and good luck with the next ones 😊
After the all of year we saw two movie and two brillian animation again. İ really happy sfm cominty still alive.
WOW, so deep and fantastic. Great job!
Ay thanks!
Wow. Very beautiful. I love the choice of non-splined keyframes, I think it helps accent just how many hand-keyed frames there are in every scene and just how much work was put into this.
just stunning work!! i love the atmosphere and the animation so much!!
Wow... sad and great at the same time - and I like your strong actors! 👍👍
Fantastic work, my friend! As always!
The stop motion imitation makes the some of the movement look almost like it came from Wallace and Gromit. 0:30 in particular.
Great video, hope this blows up
A simple words for you dear friend : Amazing, comrade!
Wonderful job and amazing animation!
Man that was very well animated
This was fantastic. Both in premise and execution. You made something special, here!
Bro, this is amazing! I love the cinematic look and the choice of animation style and how brilliantly the story comes together by the end. Well done.👏
The choppiness is throwing me for a loop but I'm guessing that's the point
This is a Masterpiece
85/100
Watching from the newest episode to the older makes this story feel oddly interesting
I have to admit, shorts does make both guys and girls appear sexier, especially dolphin shorts. LOL. But more importantly, this video is really spot on, and the forlorn feeling of being in outer space, is a very chilling experience.

Amazing work mate
Some people (most) can be bribed with money, some - with drink, some - with safety, but i selling with discount for cute animated sfm girls like fem-scout or fem-sniper. God, i love it...
The only thing realistic here is the LG dekstop still working all those years.
amazing, i loved the narrative storytelling
I really love the concept!
This the type of stuff i expect on disney plus, what do you mean this was made in SFM?! Holy crap🤯
This is insane ! Holy moly its like i cant even describe it with words !!!
Not only a good animation but a really interesting history
Now, this is EPIC.
Femscout with tess hair, cute and lovely.
Jokes aside, it's a good animation. I'd like to to hear a further story about what happend/is going on in Earth. And a lot of questions, which i hesitate to ask.
Every interesting and well done 9/10
Very good animations and history. Its cool i love it 👍
Hard animation you got here bro 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
So I've just come back to watch this, and Mission: Arrival since Exodus is on its way. I just noticed in the core manual Chapter 3,is Space Station Phoenix. Well, that's grim
Unpopular take: this is better than emesis blue, simply amazing
Great work!
amazing story my boiii!
Yea boiiiii
Absolutely gorgeous
I liked this animation, and also this fem scout is looking pretty cool!
Can't believe this came from the silly game about gravel

It gets better when c418 gets cloned
And the cycle goes on...
The Emesis Blue Sequel: Promethean Red: Mann vs. Manchine aftermath
Now we know what Miss Pauling and Scout's daughter would look like
That was so beautiful ❤😢
I though she was just making a new body, but OMG
A...
AWESOME
We not gonna mention that 385 bench?
This should be on Dust
Only 2 more until they get to return
But wouldn't the 12 year lifespan make it near impossible for clones to successfully repopulate Earth?
Hydrated Water..? what did they do, add water to it.?
Damn. Not sure what to say.
ahh, the EU4 experience: 86 chance of success for 5 years
