My first long SFM animation, Bad sniper.
It takes almost 4 month.

As a Child growing up, I watched this SFM every time I scored less in my exams. I was bullied heavily and scored Pathetically. But this SFM taught me that you may be terrible but it isn't hard to improve on your shortcomings. That's why I love this SFM...
personally, this one just hit me hard like a brick when i was young. the story really makes you think differently on lost friends or people that have taught you in the past and the animation... ouff the animation and music just outdid the story for me back then, for weeks i was obsessed over it.

I'll be honest, I totally did not expect this to be as good as it was. Like, seriously, my expectations were very low - you have to understand, good, long SFM videos are very hard to come by, so my skepticism was justified.
I can safely say that I've never been happier to be so wrong in my entire life.
Aside from a few minor translation errors, this piece was flawless - the animation was polished and well done, aside from a few EXTREMELY minor hiccups. The story? First of all, SFM with a well-done story is amazing in it of itself, but this? This was above and beyond the exceptional level. I thought I would watch this for like five minutes and just leave, but the story just kept me sticking around for more.
Needless to say, I absolutely adored it. It was an amazing piece of work. Liked and subbed; would've shared if I had the ability to. Can't wait to see more from the Bad Sniper universe and all your other future work.
This man deserves an Oscar, but only thing that frustrated me, was the voice, I mean voice acting an manipulating (the default voice) is hard...

after 6 years this is still my favorite sfm, its been years since ive last watched this and i almost shed a tear, this timeless masterpiece will always give me chills.
i've always believed triumbrush deserved a saxxy JUST for this one and i still think he does. sure there are other sfms with better production quality but this in my opinion, is the best character development out of any sfm ever. it picks up memories and implements them as flashbacks as well as powering the feeling of lost hope, and ultimately ends in the best way imaginable.

Lets be totally honest here, this person made a better SFM than every movie I've seen in my entire life other than Shrek, this drama movie was a very emotional at the spot, this is the only time I cried for a video made, this person who made this should get a scholarship, also should work to direct a movie, this is the by far best than any SFM i have ever seen. This was so good that voice acting was not needed. One thing im not satisfied about is that there was no saxxy award aswell as not known very much. Give this person here a 100 million budget for a movie, i guarantee it will rate number one beating every Disney movie made. This person's perfectionist skill deserves to be famous, never had been so satisfied in my life over a TH-cam video

2 year later, it’s still one of the best tf2 animation
this is easily the best sfm movie i've ever seen. despite there being quite a few errors in the subtitles and some hiccups in animation it's kept me through the whole 30 minutes and it was simply amazing. the lack of heard speech, wheter intentional or not, has helped this alot i think as it could've easily broken the atmosphere. you have created a masterpiece that although not perfect has kept people through via power of immersion achieved by amazing writing and little details that have created a whole universe for the viewers to relate to and for that you have my biggest kudos.
without a doubt this is one of the best TF2 fan made videos I have ever seen. unlike the others it has a plotline and while it forgoes most voice acting the lines people use are well written. in short. good job mate.
also forgot to add that it brought a tear to my eye a few times. Witch is impressive for an animated TF2 video. most of them are just silly. but yours breaks the mold

After all these years, this is still probably the best extended sfm Ive ever watched. I remember when this sfm was uploaded. It was and still is, an eternal part of TF2's history
nobody ever talks about it and i was obsessed with it back when it came out. i was convinced that this would top the overall saxxy awards by a long shot
Not gonna lie, but when I saw the time I was like "Oh just gonna watch 5 minutes of it and tune out. Ended up watching the entire thing and loving it. GREAT VIDEO.

The music choices, the drama, and the surprises were (and I don't say this lightly) magic.

The part where he let go of his parachute and went down for the sure shot just gave me instant chills. i even teared up a bit when he just instantly accepted his fall over the satisfactory shot.

Can I just say: Holy shit. This is better than most Hollywood films and it was created by just one guy, in four months, nonetheless. Liked, favourited, and subscribed. I saw this in the recommended list and it was 30 mins. I thought "meh, probably just a sloppily made, rushed piece of garbage" but I was 100% wrong. 10/10, a true masterpiece.

Holy crap, you're one of the... actually, maybe the ONLY, animator who didn't use the pull back and push forward bolt-action animation and stayed true to the actual functionality of the sniper rifle being a single-shot rifle. That was the very first thing I noticed. Very excellent detail.

I'm actually surprised watching this SFM in 2023. The tips actually works. 7 Years later, the actual sniper always follows the tips. Don't hurry, don't worry. And the main one, believe in yourself.
The animation is so beautiful, and dammit, you had no mercy. You killed so many characters, which just adds realism and tragedy to the video. You are so talented, thanks for sharing that with us.

Most people don't understand how difficult real sniping of his caliber is, there are so many more variables to take into account.
-Target distance
-Target movement
-Wind
-Gravity's pull on the bullet
- Even the rotation of the earth is considered if the shot is far enough away.

I saw Sniper and fem!Scout in a weirdly but genuinely sweet weird uncle and favorite niece kind of relationship, not romantic. Dunno if you wanted to go for that, but I loved it!

Ok for real now, I'm in a loss for words. This is just absolutely amazing. The soundtrack fits so perfectly, the story is really good, the effects, and the atmosphere, it just fits, everything fits so well. I admit it, the animation could be a little better, but the atmosphere makes up for it, so you can't even notice the animation errors when you're stunned by the amazing atmosphere. Good job. Hoping to see more amazing stuff from you!

The title initially made me think of people's hate for Free to Play Snipers. Often depicting them holding their gun backwards... but after finally watching it, I realize that this was not the message at all. It's actually really good advice. In fact, this has even improved my Sniper Gameplay. R.I.P. to those who fell-- Blu Spy, Red Medic, and Blu Sniper...
