Goes without saying if you stay in it long enough (remember his mxdn trip to budds creek) you can over come anything (today) ! @@roms4154 haveimg team USA there doesnt make a difference anyway imo they seem to have B team these last few years the main guys Eli Web etc dont seem to be interested in doing it and I mean disrespect to the lads that do turn up good for them but it seems that in the states there only interested in the supercross which is there main aim and I get that but they are no longer the best at motocross

Lupino as big a shortcut as you could take. Might as well of just come out in first. 🤣🤣🤣
He was pushed wide in the first turn. Before that he was around 5th or 8th position and joined back the race in 7th or 8th, so he didn't really take a shortcut. I think they punished him because in MXGP you have to rejoin the race in the same spot you went out and because of that I think a 10 places penalty is good. If he would have joined the race in last position, he would have reached at least the 17th place anyway during the race checking the lap times.
@@palladepelo6430 wrong. If he rejoined the race on the straight he went off in, would of got back in around 30th at least. Yes the back guys are slow but he could of run into more trouble due to conditions and riders everywhere. Very very lucky.
It was impossible the re-enter in the same place, there was a deep dirt wall AND the FOX advertising, if you watch carefully you can see that he stopped before re-entering the track and didn't went full throttle even when on the track.

@@sn0wzclips510 I thought it had something to do with how the US national season was a bit off typical scheduling from covid as well ot wanting to travel due to covid itself. Could be wrong but I think on a regular year the nationals are done a bit earlier here so maybe they didn’t have proper time to prepare? Announcers mentioned it at the last two races but I can’t remember for sure. Lame
They saved the embarrassment, and didn’t the top American riders not even want to go ? They travel multiple times a week across the country race to race, the COVID excuse is simply bs. This also goes for the other teams that wanted to be there that couldn’t complete covid BS. USA stand a much better chance at red bud in 2022. Maybe some redemption or maybe they will moan they added sand to the soil again so it could be raced in the wet.

Gajser didn't race, Fevre didn't race, Prado didn't race, Ferrandis didn't race, Australia didn't race, Canada didn't race, Germany didn't race, and the list goes on and on... yet the pandemic is an excuse? have you tried to travel internationally lately? America has some great riders, and if you are not able to see that you must not know much about motocross...

Or is there a global pandemic going on? And before you try to say anything, I'm not American... Just getting tired of hearing how "scared the Americans are" because they didn't win the mxon in the last few years. They have some amazing riders as well, and if you are not able to recognize that you either don't know much about motocross or have the maturity level of a 12 year old.
