I'm gonna miss this channel. It's what got me into pathfinder lore and it eventually led me to run a campaign set on Golarion. My players keep on asking me how I learned so much lore and the answer was always this channel. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in, and for sparking my love for this fantasy world.

It's a bittersweet farewell but I'm glad we were able to create a send off instead of letting it die off quietly. I don't know what we'll do in the future other than our very best.

We're definitely proud of the results, you should see our notes. at one point I genuinely couldn't remember what books we had sourced from for this episode because there was so many of them. it's was a tough but ultimately rewarding experience.
We'll miss you guys too. I meant what I said in the video, replying to comments is one of the most rewarding parts of this job but all good things must come to an end. thank you.
Hopefully more and more channels will rise to fill the demand left in our wake. there's already a few that I'm sure will continue to break down the lore into something entertaining.

Well this video was rather bittersweet... on the one hand, we got one last episode and closure... and yet I still find myself heartbroken that there won't be any more content. Thank you for so much time and energy making these amazing video's over the years! It has truly brought great joy into my life as you expand on the lore of my favorite world! I had hoped you would continue making videos for years to come, but I understand your reasoning for why you are canceling this project. I can only hope that one day, the passion will return about some topic, and you will breath new life into this channel... but until that day arrives, I will bid you adieu, and simply say: Thank you.
Us coming back is not impossible but it's likely not to be in the form of lorefinder or anytime soon. Between starting this show and now, I became a DM and that's where a lot of my creative energy goes these days. It might not be lorefinder but all 3 of us are going to continue to invest in this hobby for many years to come.

It is very interesting to watch gaming groups (and the insanity that inevitably ensues!) and custom settings can be just as interesting as pregenerated settings! and I'd imagine doing so would require a lot less video editing later! (or even no editing in the case of a live stream on something like twitch or youtube!)
@@appollyon99 I've been the GM for the lorefinder team for years now. We mostly play text-only games on Roll20 (Recently switched to FoundryVTT) so we never thought it'd be very engaging content to share with the world. At least I'm happy that my community enjoys them, but that's all.

Just found this channel a couple of days ago. I am preparing to DM an adventure path for my group, we have all mostly played 2nd edition AD&D and I wanted to have some amount of background knowledge of the world of Pathfinder to be able to create a more lively and deep game. You may never read this, but if you do, have my heartfelt thanks for this awesome series of videos, the amazing art you present, the humorous narratives and the awesome storytelling. I feel much more prepared to tackle the world of Golarion thanks to you and I am truly sad to learn you will not be putting up more content. I hope you are happy whatever you are doing!
Always sad to see a good channel go, but everything must end in time. To anyone looking for Pathfinder lore stuff, Black Dragon Gaming has probably hundreds of videos at this point about races, deities, and countries, and deserves more viewers.
I am obviously new to your channel and have watched every video, minus your newest remsster which I will get to. I have about 5 lore channels setup on a Playlist and I am watching them all chronologically. Whenever one of your videos start playing I get a bit more excited than all the others, your content visually is probably the second best, but easily the best to listen to.which is how I primarily consume this lore content. I will absolutely miss hearing your voice during my morning workouts, you have made learning pathfinder lore so much easier and enjoyable for me. I have a degenerative eye disease so reading the lore for myself is difficult and time consuming, so people like yourself have been hugely helpful in my daily enjoyment, and have greatly improved my story telling in my games as I have been able to add bits if extra lore into APs and settings. So thank you, and you will be missed by myself, and I know some of my players will be sad to not see any new links from your channel when I want them to know something from a more entertaining source than myself.
Just as I was starting to catch up with videos again . . . It's really said to see this come to an end, but like somebody else mentioned, maybe your new gaming sessions could be the source for something new?
