fantastic video! The story of Old Mage Jatembe is one of my favourite pieces of lore in Pathfinder, I find it as intoxicating as the attentions of a lust sin mage xD
Oh, I have a wizard to break from the scholarly bookworms. Picture, if you will, a sailor; typical Andoran seadog stock, loves his home, his missus, his pub, and hates everything Chellish. He's been all around the world's seas and back, and has all the tattoos to prove it. So it wasn't any surprise he got to Tian one day. He, as sailors are want to do on shore leave, got drunk and tried his hand at dice. He got very lucky indeed, to the point where this drunken old man had to throw a book into the pot. Our boy won that toss, and suddenly found himself a fucking necromancer's grimoire . "Welp", he decides, "adventuring pays better than hauling cargo."
one of the images you used in bloatmages was Zutha, Runelord of Gluttony (Thassalonian Sin Magic, Necromncer) Aalso the image you use for Abrogail Thrune I (the first Thrune Ruler) was actually of Abrogail II, (The CURRENT ruler)
The problem with divination magic is that a level 20 Runelord specialized in divination and with the sin of paranoia would be basically an invincible villain.
I wish the Harrowers had been included. Not all of them are necessarily Wizards, but then again not all Cyphermages and Bloatmages are necessarily Wizards either.
Woooo! Fighters! I always play a fighter. Also, I stopped watching this video after the word fighter was mentioned. This video is about fighters right? WOOO go fighters! *fists raised high*
That is the lament configuration, but its not a pathfinder item. Its a reference to the Hellraiser universe, which inspired Zon-Kuthon and the Kytons. It would be incredibly easy to homebrew a pathfinder item with the same effect though, simply have a cursed puzzle artifact that summons a powerful Kyton (...or perhaps even Zon Kuthon himself?) upon being solved. What happens next is up to you!

Didnt even mention the greatest illusionist of all. Jackie Daytona and his overwhelmingly lucky Witch Skin hat.
Just know, what ever struggles you go through to make these videos, they're the best thing ever. The. Best. Ever.
this was awesome, would love if you guys would shed a light on the Alchemist class.
Bump
Who, on gods green earth gives u a dislike???
I really enjoy this channel and recommend episodes to my party after checking for spoilers :3

This is how I imagine most bards learn their first spells. Tripping and falling over copies of "how to convince reality to see things your way"
Venture-Captains Drunken dice games are the best way of uncovering the mysteries of the arcane.
As a sorcerer player I often look at wizards and go "DAMN, that's hawt!".
As an ex-WIzard now Magus player, I miss that hotness.

Excellent video, as always!
Fantastic video. Gives me many ideas for NPCs to throw at my players. Keep up the quality content!! 😁😁
Another great episode. I also stumbled across the podcast a few weeks back. Excellent
Man, bloatmages are amazing. I really like the prestige class, very flavorful.
Really awkward to use as a Player Character, but maybe you can make it work!
@@chibinya Well, I mean, no one else is going to eat these fresh corpses.

Really amazing video. Totally want to make a wizard that uses halcyon magic.

Suggestion: Prestige Classes like Pathfinder Chronicler and Horizon Walker
Making a wizard champion for 2e. Definitely gonna say he is a studier of Sword Binding

They're going with the Sorcerers, since that's the most thematic Varisian way!
This series is great! Can you make one on Absalom? My players are going there soon and I think i need some inspiration.

I have no idea what you're saying but your excitement is infectious, yeah fighters!
I want to read about that cube @ 15:47, could somebody tell me what is the name of that artifact?

@@VentureCaptains Alright, that was fast, tanks! Just today used your told lore for Pathfinder session. Thank you!
YOU SOLVED THE BOX. SO WE CAME.
NOW YOU COME WITH US.
How does the Spellslinger Archetype work if you choose to be an Elemental Arcane School?
You don't get any school with Spellslinger. So you're outta luck.
WOOHOO
So the Sword binder actually came AFTER the Magus in terms of the rules and uh... why would Paizo do that??
Good vid as always, now which is the 1 on the dice and which is the 20? Low effort video Idea, top 20 classes.
That seems a bit cheap for us! Our goal is education more than subs. Maybe if we can spin it to add some good content it could be a thing.
@@chibinya are you channel owner?
@@lewis9574 It's shared between me, Anri and Ray.
@@chibinya could be good video for growth as you guys deserve more views :3
@@lewis9574 venture captains is the channel all 3 of us share for this show and chibi and myself(ray) use these as our personal accounts.
ROFL @05:10
cool stuff but um... yeah.. bloatmages... that not right.
