We all have a little PTSD from the last few years seeing a team we expected to play at a certain level and ending up with a team-- particularly the D-- that pooped themselves on the field. Cautiously optimistic for this game.

We had an amazing non conference set of wins. And yes, starting out against Michigan in our first conference scheduled game in the “Big House” is just crazy talk…but incredible as it is, it’s true. By the way, I smile thinking about how the Big 10 “Schedule Makers”. How they must have felt, scheduling USC, who had a woeful defense and finished seemingly having trouble to attain a winning season against Michigan who just won the National Championship. I think they expected to award USC with a rude awakening / welcome game into the conference…but it isn’t exactly working out that way. Who expected the defensive changes at USC? Well, anyone who follows USC football closely like me did. I absolutely knew that if D’Anton Linn is given plenty of time to prepare, and WITH a well stocked group in terms of talent, he and those other five star defensive coaches would make an extraordinary difference on that side of the ball. Now everyone else is seeing what a Lincoln Riley offense paired with a good defense looks like. Eric is on to something. If our USC team can come over to Michigan, remembering how they were invited to that “fist fight” before, and treat this game the same way…I hope they will do that. These guys are bigger and stronger, and coached by coaches who are from literally a different league-the next one. I know they will win this one. It just feels right. Lastly, before anyone gives any of our guys a hard time about the “Alex Grinche’s offense” comment, just pump the brakes. Please remember that our guys in the Trojan Huddle do all of this for the love of the game, and also for the rest of us for free. Fight on!
Hey Chris, do you wanna know what’s really nuts? If you had told me 15 years ago that we were going to hire the defense coordinator from UCLA to upgrade I would’ve said you were crazy and lost your mind. Anything is possible now.

USC's offensive line needs to block somebody when they throw screens. Too many times Alani Noa runs right by a defender who ends up tackling the running back. 🙄

USC beginning their season at Michigan something to think possible some 10-20 years ago? Well, I remember how the Universitpresidents tried to stagnate the PAC-10-12 conference holding it back from becoming more in inportance. But their ignorance and naivety cost them in losing the conference altogether and being exposed as idiots.
I am perplexed about you guys not mentioning the coaching staffs. Our coaching staff (Michigan) has got to be the worst in the conference, aside from UCLA. The fact that Harbaugh is now in your neighborhood has meant the biggest coaching downgrade imaginable.

Chris Arledge is the most ignorant person I've listened to talking about football online. He doesn't know shit from Shinola. He constantly compares what teams did in the past to what they are doing today. I've seen him do this a hundred times. That's shockingly stupid in a sport where personnel and coaches change yearly. A knowing person would never even talk about in on the program itself. I know it's human nature to do the comparison but it doesn't scale and should NEVER be mentioned as a reason for decision about what might be. Concerning the game, USC's offensive line is horrible. They got pushed around by Michigan in the same way Texas pushed Michigan defensive front around and here is the kicker, Lincoln Riley doesn't give a shit about defense. He never will. USC 's defensive line did not push Michigan around. Another tip though, learn to tackle. Welcome to big boy football.
Miami is in their for charity sake! Really! I like USC but he is full of crap! Miami beat UF game one. UF is a blue chip ratio team just like Miami and USC. @@KevinMorris126 Bill Napier/UF beat a ranked Utah at home in 2022. USC/lost Utah twice, once at home and the Pac 10 championship game. Miami and UF are bitter rivals here in Florida. The Gators and their fans wanted to beat Miami bad.
@@arronfrazier7873 Why are you bringing up 2022? It has nothing to do with 2024. USC has a better win than Miami up to this point this season and frankly I need to see more from Miami. @@KevinMorris126 It mention 2022 and 2023 because Florida beat a ranked Utah and Tennessee at home. Here in Florida, the big 3 of Florida of Miami, UF and FSU are bitter rivals. As I said before, UF and Miami are 2 of the 13 blue chip ratio teams in 2024!
