The blend of practical effects and flawless cgi in Dune is truly astounding. Everything looked and felt so real i would have happily watched a 6 hour version.

When I first saw the worm riding part I lost it and whooped and hollered in my car outside my job. When you've read the book and see something recreated so faithfully and realistically, it's a beautiful sight to behold. Long live the fighters!
