At the time they did not have much control over CABLE TV, until they finally got control, all they had control of was radio and basic tv then cable tv came after once they were bought out. This was the era of "satanic panic" era when these church groups were molesting their kids and religious family members were molesting their own, but for that ODD reason, they were desperately trying to project their perverted delusions on the mass's, as if anyone would want to abduct their restarted child lol, this is how "qAnon" came into existence, they are covering up for their own crimes, as they have not been able to call out or catch anyone, while there are tons of their "own" getting caught in which I see plenty of news/police articles of. That was when this theocratic dictatorship started to take form, in which "reagan" brought in these "ultra" conservatives and his entire party was investigated for corruption like 200+, remember thats when the change was starting to take place :) This is what we call the "Gop" . But now in 2020, we have Liberals and Conservative boomers canceling each other out. Boomers were more used to racial/hate/womenjokes/crude words/etc, there some more.. While the liberals more against any racism.trans,gay/crude jokes and such. Thats why we had a lot of edgy content in the that era, as these soo called "Morality" groups hasnt been formed yet completely. America isnt america anymore, its controlled by these "y'all qaeda" groups. Our country puts islamists terrorists to shame as our right wing terrorism in our own states is just as worse...
2000 to 2012 was the peak period for comedy. Shows were constantly pushing the limits and the PC police didn't exist. I definitely miss those times. Rewatching old shows reminds me how far we've come.
Oddly enough, I had just finished watching Kevin's last episode just before this one went live. I'm glad I could finally watch the interview with Charles Hirschhorn, which I watched a clip of on GoodBadFlicks' video, "The Rise and Fall of G4". Definitely worth a watch if you haven't already. Even if you have already watched it, it's still worth a watch.
