Hi Rodney, watching your latest clogging, Flatfooting demo,really great will watch time and again,regarding the percussive sound,steps to the beat,Watching your Green Grass cloggers vids over the years, many of your free syle dancers do not make the percusive sound when they dance,in free syle does it matter? Too much talking. Get right to the mechanics and basic from the beginning and let them follow. Just repeat for a long time to music until it feels natural and move on to next step. Could take 1 or 2 steps per lesson, but it's cemented. That's how I learned.
