Hello 👋 how’re you doing?
I'd have given it to the second dancer: she made it flow. All really good though.
Yeah but buck dancing isnt about flowing, look at the old timers they kept a sort of stiffness in their gait. Flowing it turns into tapping or clogging.
Her feet seemed to float above the ground.
Anybody know the name of this fiddle tune? Would like to learn it.
Is her name courtney?
That boy could sure dance. He gets my vote.
I will probably never know what I did to deserve getting this as a recommended video.
As much as I wanted the first girl, Hillary Klug, to win since I've seen so many of her videos (she dances while playing the violin), the girl in the red dress looked like she was gliding a half inch off the floor at times. She had a very nice relaxed and effortless style. Loved it!
The guys in the band must have dreams about that song. . . .
You can't go past Tradition, this is excellent stuff, thank you 👍😊
I liked Courtney Derryberry's performance the best. Her smooth style, technique and interpretation I believe was the best, she made it look easy.
might help if you say girl 1, girl 2, and boy.
@@nowvoyagerNE If you listened, a man says their name after they performed. She is lady number 2.
@@deadstick8624 : i'm from the midwest. i don't understand the guy's pronunciation. mean while, butt out.
@@nowvoyagerNE I'm from Wisconsin, so fkQ
@@nowvoyagerNE well im from Texas and if you cant understand what the mans saying thats on you bud.
#2 for sure. Nothing but the music. No accent on herself...very classy
The girl in the red dress is effortlessly floating. She’s also getting two or three taps in where everybody else got one
Yeah but its buck dancing not clogging, its supposed to look kinda stiff and forced not flowing.
@@functionatthejunction shes wearing tap shoes, they are made to get the extra taps in using a metal plate on the toe and heel
It was the shoes... TAPDANCING SHOES!!
I agree. It's not supposed to get fancy. That defeats the traditon
The blonde kept looking down. Lack of stage presence and confidence. She gets third in my eyes
You make sure you don't let that die.. keep it well & truly alive! Much respect from Australia! I could watch you all night long! 🏆🥇
I remember when my grandfather danced like this .
Yeah! My grandpa used to dance like this in front of the toaster. He’d stomp his foot at the end, and the toast would pop up. That was over 60 years ago now. Remember it, and that old kitchen, clear as day.
This is awesome! And I am from California !! We don't ignore it we happen to love talent !!
The dancing and music is good and that long pretty hair looks good also!
All three are excellent.
Love the band as well as the competitors! I’ve seen the three in Smithville Tn. They are all very talented. Love watching them!!
The word that came to me watching the boy was a skateboarding term “steeze” meaning style and ease. They were all very talented but he was dancing with his whole body even though the arms aren’t involved! The girl is the dress was also particularly impressive!
The First Lady had a head full of beautiful hair! Have to give it to the kid tho!
Courtney Day , would have my vote on the day . Wow , the way she made her feet move was so beautiful to watch , was like she wasn’t even trying . Steve Australia
I love it, don’t ever let it die out ( fantastic)
