The little additions with the blam counter, weird zooms and edits add so much to these playthroughs, helps them feel appropriately BM and not the dry drawn out plays that others do 👍👍👍
So glad you like it we really aim to keep the video entertaining and doing things like that make us laugh as we assemble the video so we are glad you like it!

Thanks for the rules corrections! Are you sure about #1 though? The legend on the shed tiles seems to indicate that they can’t since the orange and red are diagonally adjacent in the legend?
@@TheBrothersMurph Yep, the legend has diagonal orange to orange and red to red. Unless it's changed or errata, page 13 on the rulebook, Orange cannot be placed orthogonally next to orange and red can't be orthogonally next to red. @@gee3161 I 2nd Gee's reading of this for #1. I had to do a BGG deep dive on this once and its only 2 of the same color that can't touch orthogonally on the sheds not red can't be orthogonal to orange
@@gee3161 Ok good to know! That's bad graphic design on their part. They way they have it on the legend on the tile makes it seem like they're not allowed to touch
@@TheBrothersMurph it is! There's so much going on in the game with so much iconography, can't fault them that some of its confusing. Thanks for the vid!
At 19:02, I don’t understand why that is an illegal placement? Why can’t orange and red be placed next to each other? Trying to learn the rules, and when I zoom on the icehouse it looks like it would be legal?
yeah. It's so confusing. We made that mistake too. I think they were trying to skip a step in scoring but in the end it just made it a little bit confusing.
Oh my god that makes so much sense! We were always really confused on why are you essentially get your income twice in the last round. It never seemed to make sense to us
don't know if anyone already said this, but the placement on the house is not illegal, as the disclaimer says. you can put orange and red tiles together on houses, just not together with the same color.
You only take one resource off the mountain strips in the "cleanup" (after collecting bonuses). You were removing two resources from each strip each time.
Oh man, wild timing. I struggle learning heavier games like this but being able to play on BGA with the rules automated finally got me in and the game is so good, I've played like 10 solo games in the last week
I know im 2 years late but hey advice is advice, that annotated "illegal" filling of the barn from the long haired guy (sorry im new here) was actually legal. Theres no limitations of what colors can touch other colors on either board. Limitations only apply to colors "self touching"
I just just recently bought Feast for Odin and the expansion. Not sure if it was hard to find for awhile or if I was just unlucky, but I can't wait to get it to the table. I can totally see this becoming one of my favorite games 💜 (Second video I have commented on today. Working my way to #1 fan status 🤣)
the rules state: "Final income: instead of paying out the income of the final round, you can write it down in the “Final Income” category of the scoring pad." Did you guys take the final income and count it on the scorepad?
That’s definitely possible, we’ve never really paid attention to whether or not it’s supposed to be hidden. We’re pretty open with our information regardless of the game or situation, so we could definitely just play them open
The note you added after the fact about red and orange not being allowed to touch, is not true. That is actually a legal placement. Different colors can always touch. Tip for next time ya play.
Yeah someone else mentioned this as well. And y'all are right. The graphic design on the sheds is bad, they definitely make it look like they're not allowed to touch. But it turns out they are! Yay Nick didn't cheat!
@@TheBrothersMurph Shipping's a bit expensive (they're made in Brazil), so I try to buy sets for multiple games each time I order, since it's cheaper in the long run than buying each set individually.
So. Have Nusfjord. And I think it’s the perfect amount of Uwe for me. Mainly solo. Occasional groups 3-4. Granted I’m always intrigued by this feasty boy. But I think personally it’s just too much game for where my Uwe sessions are at right meow. Thanks for sharing this content

If Nick covered his negatives on his main board his income would be boosted by 3 at a cost of 1 dollar (for the 15 spot). Always keep that in mind.

It is legal, that added note is incorrect.
The "final income" is only supposed to be counted if you do not pay it out, so you actually counted that double (p.23 of the rulebook)
yeah. It's so confusing. We made that mistake too. I think they were trying to skip a step in scoring but in the end it just made it a little bit confusing.

Dang. I really need to try this game, as well as more Uwe games in general
UWE FOREVER!
I think 111 is a card game worth collecting! It can be regarded as the inheritance of professional cards.
You probably right
Shouldn't you have gone to the 2 worker spot to be able to get Greenland at 40:30?
Very likely yes

Mike had two illegal greens on his main board for the longest time :D
Yeahhhh I was banking on people not noticing that. I sure didn’t see it
Thanks! Would love to see you guys play a couple of newer games like Ark Nova or Golem.

Is it worth it to pick up the expansion?
Absolutely! Especially if you play two players a lot, the Norwegian expansion is absolutely outstanding, and makes the game better at two players
Super good!
Thanks!
I feel like a lot of blams were missed for the counter
Oh most definitely
Ive never had such a big blamming craving for some rack of lamb.

Yes, indeed, the weapons are supposed to be face up at all time. It gives a hint about what your opponents moves could be.

Nusfjord is so good.
Nick should have filled his homeboard with his cash surplus. he would have had 3 more income = 3 more points.

Mike lost since he had an illegal green touch on his board that he missed.
Shhhhhhhhhh 🤫

But, seriously, this is an awesome playthrough, and my immense intimidation about this game has come down a bit. I might finally give it a try....
wahoooooo it really is a fun time we promise!
