I love your tutorials. I can actually follow them!
Watched till the end, normal speed and absolutely appreciate that “Pro-Tip” at the end of the Video! Many thanks dear BOD!❤❤❤😊
I will always follow how you do yours 😊. So I’ll watch again till I’m ready to crochet alongside with you 😊 thank you 🙏 😊
Pretty! I’m adding it to my list. 😊
I like that you show the option to straighten the side and finish the top. Thank you!
Such a pretty stitch and yarn color! I love learning new stitches and figuring out something to make with them. This one looks fun to do. I can see using this in a t-shirt or other top, putting a wide band of a less see-through stitch around the bust area. Just the second row of it would make a pretty border.
Oh wow⚘️, I love the look of this stitch! I will use it for a scarf and a blanket! Thanks much for this!❤ I like that once you learn the stitch you can get your speed up and keep repeating it quickly. Thanks Crystal ⚘️
I' ve fallen in love with this Stitch, Crystal!! Beautiful, delicate and Easy, thanks My friend!!🌹🧶🌹🧶🙋♀️🇦🇷🇦🇷
Thank you for your tutorial, I’m doing a baby blanket today using this stitch. ❤❤❤
Hi Crystal, hope your ankle is healing fast, thank u Soo much for the video, your stitch is definitely ‼️ on my to do list for a blanket, have a nice night
I just love watching your tutorials
I just finished a shawl (your of course) and was looking for a blanket to make. Well 🎉you🎉 came up with this one. Thank you so much, it's greatly appreciated.
I am so happy for the 2 extra tips! Straight edges and a straight top. Thank you again Crystal ❤❤️
I'm glad to see you do that at the end. I do stuff like that
I need to try this! I love how lacy it looks.
Very pretty. I'm going to change to this stitch for my square neck pullover
Beautiful stitch. I'll be using it on my next scarf. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you for verbally explaining as you go!
BEAUTIFUL pattern and LOVE the yarn and it's color!!
Love the stitch! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this tutorial, I was looking for a simple blanket pattern
What a pretty stitch! Thank you for teaching us these beautiful and easy patterns!
Very pretty. Reminds me a bit of the open oyster stitch, that of course, you have a tutorial for😜. Thanks for showing how to straighten out last row. I don’t mind the “scalloped” look at all but it makes me crazy when the starting row and last row are not the same (for scarves, blankets, etc.). Who could ask for anything more!
Ooooo, so pretty! Thanks, Crystal! ❤
Thank you so much for your lovely tutorials
Hi Crystal…it is a pretty stitch, thanks! 🤗🫶🏽
I can't wait to do my next project with this stitch!
You are amazing. I can't crochet fast enough 😂😂😂. It's a very pretty stitch ❤
Very pretty stitch indeed, Krystal. Great video. ❤😊
Sorry for misspelling ur name, Crystal. ❤
Love this stitch I am making a coffee table doily. Turning out lovely
Beautiful stitch + amazing tips = priceless 🎉❤👏🏼👍🏼💯
That is such a pretty stitch, and so easy too! Thanks for another great video!
Very pretty stitch thank you so much for all of do love, Susan
That’s my FAVORITE stitch. I learned it as the Jamie blanket stitch. I’ve been waiting for years for you to do this tutorial as a project. The way it was made as a scallop on the edges of the blanket, starting each row with a chain of 2 and then proceed with a dc, ch2, 1sc. This stitch is also called the bushy stitch in the Readers Digest craft book from about 1975.
Exactly, userzp9! I’ve made many blankets with this stitch over the years!
I made chunky cowls years ago with this stich. Beautiful drape with #6 yarns, believe it or not.
You know your stich is it a quick one to do
AaahYes!! I remember it with those names! 👵🏻 I made the scallops on the side edges just as you did, and omitted any SC row at the beginning (worked pattern row into chains) so that it looked scalloped on all 4 sides. So very nice for scarves and blankets!! 👵🏻
Yes!!!! Some book’s reference small shell, bush stitch. This was all before the CGOA a stitch standards. ❤
It's beautiful very nice pattern 👌 ❤
I'm using red heart wool for the first time. I pulled it from the centre snd eventually after knitting about 2 inches I had a big ball in knots.
I love the tutorials. I tell my friends I go The University of Bag O Day. My stitch dictionary has definitely increased with variety. Thanks
Love it! Gonna try it!
Oh mercy me, I’m going to have to drop my other projects and start a blanket with this stitch! It’s just too beautiful to resist. Love the look of a sideways shell with this one. Thank you, Crystal! ❤❤❤
And this is why I have 12 things going at once because every day almost she has another one I want to try😂😂
Very pretty!!
Waiting for years for help on this. Liked the name.
Wow it's beautiful and easy thank you I will try making like you taught ❤❤
Is there a way to make the foundation row scalloped to match the other end?
Pretty
I bought 10 boxes of yarn from the JoAnn's sale you told us about. I am having a difficult time picking patterns to use. Every time you show us a new pattern, it just gets HARDER!! LOL! Stop that!! Hahaha! Got 6 colors of Scarfie and want to show off the roving yarn. I'm thinking the Star stitch combo pattern you did in mustard for one. As soon as I finish my own afghan from TEMU yarn, I'll start using your patterns. This yarn you cannot take mistakes out, cuz of the thick halo. So just doing all DC. It is beautiful yarn. Cheap. But not quality. I'm so excited to start my REAL afgans!!! Thanks so much for your inspiration, Crystal!!! 😊 You have gotten me back to using yarns. I've been doing #10 Cotton thread doilies for 4 years now. I'm totally into afghans THIS year!! Everyone in my family will get one for Christmas this year!! You change lives!!! TFS!
Hugs from Austin TX USA
We love a 1 row repeat! Thank you so much Crystal. I watch your lives...the chat moves way too fast for me to keep up with but I'm there watching. I'm making a cardigan at the moment using one of your stitch tutorials and found your sizing tutorial really helpful. I really appreciate you & your positive energy 🙏❤️
I love it!
Nice!
So if I started with a foundation single crochet, it would just be multiples of 3 (without the added 2)?
3 + 1
You Amaze me Crystal.....so many beautiful stitches ❤
Thank you!
Love this stitch, and a great tutorial. Question: is there a way to do this stitch in a c2c?
Love it❤
Good Morning, I watching replay miss you by two hours. Its 8.59am Aussie time. Beautiful Crystal, Have you made a shawl in this Paris stitch. Its so pretty. Be nice for our up and coming winter. Thanks once for sharing your talent. Wow you have 974K Subscribers. go girl power lol.❤💥👍👍👍👍👍👍
I recently found you. I have been crocheting for 50 years always using patterns. I found a scarf i wanted with no pattern. Your stitch tutorials are wonderful. They are helping me to make my scarf. I will be exploring your channel for a long time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You are a great teacher
Crystal I have been watching your videos for quite a few years and I started a sweater from one of your tutorials. My husband got sick and later passed away, needless to say I haven’t worked on the sweater since. He passed in 2021. The sweater was all half double crochet. I have tried searching my history and I have looked at the tutorials you have up but I cannot find it. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? I lost weight after loosing my husband and I would like to take this apart and make it smaller. I would surely appreciate any advice you can provide. Ty for all the beautiful things you make and for teaching us so much about all the yarns out there. Alice Mckee
I don't believe that would be mine... Hdc is my least favorite stitch, and I wouldn't make a sweater out of it...
Great
Thanks so much for sharing your talents! I finally got smart and started doing a sample swatch like you. You can’t even imagine how many times I had to rip out a project because I didn’t know what I was doing wrong! lol. Makes all the difference in the world and I don’t get frustrated with it! Thanks again from Salt Lake City!!!!
Thanks Crystal! This is nice … love that it is the same on both sides. A blanket would be nice. Love the ombré colour. ❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
I love the way you show how to do your pattern you teach very well. I’m a beginner and I can follow that stitch. Thank you for sharing.
Yet another keeper! Thanks Crystal 😊
They look like a top view of a rose! How beautiful!!
Love this stitch. I wonder how it would look in a pastel pink yarn. For a long scarf. Looks like a new wip on the hook. Thank you, Crystal
Gorgeous stitch & I love the name of it! Ty Crystal! ✨✨✨
Hey Crystal. Just got through watching the Lil Tulip 🌷 tutorial and it looks the same as the Paris stitch. There's only 1 difference , you chain 3 which counts as a dc on Paris and ch 1 on Lil Tulip which does not count as st. Am I wrong ???❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks crystal I love that stitch I have used it to make the bottom of baby dresses and tops.great tutorial.💖💖
I'm always so happy when I can catch one of your very Creative, Impressive and Encouraging tutorials🧶🪡✂️☺️!
Very beautiful stitch! You an amazing teacher. This pattern is easy. I like 1 row repeats. Thank you Crystal
Thank you Crystal. Great stitch and thank you for the tips on keeping a straight edge and straightening the top. You always have such great ideas for fixing things and you explain them so well. Also really appreciate that even with your demonstration you emphasize that it is still each person's choice.
Crystal, I love this st…it is lighter and a little airier than a lot if similar sr…but not perky boo either…I watch very Day for you videos..I am 80, and crocheting is my passion,..BUTI LOVE NEW PATTERNS…LOL…I DON’t want my hints to look like an old lady made ‘3;…😂
This stitch is so pretty. Love your one row repeats.
Can you pls save this pattern
Wonderful demonstration of a fantastic stitch that is potato chip crochet. Perfect for movies or just relaxing. Mindless motion with a beautiful gratification ❤
This is beautiful. I will definitively have to make a blanket out of that stitch for my dog rescue fundraiser. Thank you Crystal for this beautiful and easy pattern.
I like this stitch! This might become my next blanket. Thanks again ❤
Multiple of 3+2. Row 3 7:41. Ending row 10:30
1 row repeat, not a yarn eater and PURDY, PURDY too!!!! Pattern noted, swatch made and in my shoebox❣️👍 T.....Y!!!
(....in a No. 4 C2C run right now😂)
What a pretty stich! Thank you Crystal. You always make new patterns so easy to follow ❤
That is very pretty!

Pattern
Oh my goodness. I love that stitch. I'm in the middle of making a sweater but now I want to rip it apart and make it with this stitch.
Really love this one it is so pretty. Thanks Again,
This is such a pretty stitch, and I DO love a one row repeat that I can do while I watch TV! Thanks, Crystal!
I am currently making this and I am gonna do the ending like you 2 sc 2 together ❤❤thank you for all you do❤❤❤❤❤
I am loving these stitch tutorials! I have one of your on my hook as we speak but just keep watching for future projects!
I am constantly amazed at you, Crystal. You are a genius at crocheting and the best crochet teacher in the universe. Right up there with Albert Einstein. How was i ever so lucky to find you?
This is a great stitch and I will try to make a simple kimono top for spring/summer to use as a cover up to throw on over a tank top if unexpected company comes. It's perfect for my needs and easy enough to do with my waning focus and concentration. Thank you! 💕💕💕
Hi, you could easily make a nice rectangle shawl out of this stitch, how she taught … either make it the width or length you’d like ( depending how you’d like the stitches to go) then make as many rows as you’d like… do the last row to even it out, n put a border on if you’d like..
Oh, I feel a baby blanket coming on with this stitch. Thanks for sharing!
As someone that’s a newbie I really enjoy how to teach. So ez to follow along. Thank you
Crystal that is a very Beautiful stitch now I’m going to have to make something with this stitch and it’s going in my book of stitches thank you 😊 😊
Very pretty stitch! I like your cheat at the end of the row. I do not like a wonky edge. Thank you
Thanks Crystal, I like this pattern and will do it on my next project
I want to buy the written pattern - what is it called on Etsy?
This stitch seems to have different names. And the amount of stitches are 3 or 4 depending on the person’s pattern. But it always ends up I being the same in the end. I just watched 3 other videos doing basically the same stitch. But you teach it much more clearly and your hook work on the video is easier to see and understand.
The thing I’m curious about it is, if you do the stitch as the pattern, it will automatically have scallops on the sides and top. And could be done making the first row scalloped or Atleast a scallop could be added later. Instead, you straightened all the sides…. Which I’m not criticizing. Could you maybe show how it could all be scalloped as well? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Many of use wouldn’t be crocheting without it😊
Thank you. The Paris stitch is the correct name, but if it's done any other way, even the same but 3 stitches, it's a different stitch. Many stitches are almost identical... but I'm sorry, I must not understand about the sides... there would not be scallops on the sides. The sides would just be crooked if they were done differently.

Sorry I guess it’s crochet pattern overload.. 🤪 There are so many and some are just tweaked a little! Sometimes I’m watching more than doing. But, I really appreciate the videos. I am a visual learner and most likely wouldn’t be doing this hobby without them. They also show me that I can do some patterns that I never would have even thought, looking at a paper pattern. Again thank you for your clear instructions
Beautiful stitch!!! I love it❤❤❤❤. Tyfs God bless
I love one row repeats! IDK what I'm going to use it for, but I'm definitely trying to make a swatch just for fun! Not too long ago I started a "folder" on TH-cam called "Favorite crochet stitches" and so far I think all the ones I've collected are from your channel. You are an excellent teacher, everything is always so clearly explained that even when I find other tutorials for the same stitches, I tend to go back and refer to your videos for clarification. And I love to hear your family in the background, like a REAL person. Love your channel and thank you so much!
This is the stitch i used for my 22 year old daughter's first baby blanket! It was lost at daycare☹️
Very nice, you explained this stitch beautifully. Thank you
It’s fun for me to guess your “see-through” percentage! 😂. I am about 95% in prediction, and 100% after-the-fact. 🤣🤣🤣
Love your work. Thank you so much for your tutorials. Thanks to you I have learner to crochet.
I love it, just what I've been searching for! One row repeat and not a yarn eater!!
Special thanks for showing how to straighten out the sides and the top, I too like straight edges, especially because I want to make a cardigan out of it.
I find myself trying to work out what the stitch combo is from the picture before the tutorial starts. I'm getting better, but still missing things. I'm really enjoying the series of tutorials 😊
Love this stitch. You are so smart!😍
