Changing that round upper filter (trans cooling filter) is very hard to get to on a 2007 Dodge caliber (probably the same for most caliber models/years), there are lots of tubes in the way. I couldn't unscrew it because of all of the stuff in the way. I went at it from up top and from underneath the car. Would be nice if someone did a video on it. This is not the same as the ones for the Jeep Patriots, those have a similar setup but the screws are easy to get to (better placement and less stuff in the way).

When my transmission is at normal operating temp and ive cycled through gears what level should my dipstick read? Someone told me 40-45.

Update ....Did a vid changing oil.....Only 4.5 quarts came out from pan removal so I didnt strain any old oil , just replaced with all new
