I found this video about a year ago. I was excited to do this and just knew it would help us tremendously. My husband wasn’t as excited as I was at the time.
A year later we’re in a different season of our relationship. He’s now excited as I to talk about these as I still am.
Wanted to add today, watching this again a year later my emotional needs have changed. Over time it’d be a good idea for couples to revisit this exercise with their partner.

That’s awesome to hear you and your husband are in a better place now. Great job being intentional. And you’re right, we need to continue the conversations as we change and our needs change in different seasons

My husband and I did this in your book a few months ago. Super frustrating b/c his top were things that will naturally decrease as I age (physical attractiveness for example). Ugh!

He’s got more than one top need so the others shouldn’t be age related. But even physical attractiveness is about taking care of self and looking your best or doing a little more than the normal attire/hair/makeup for a special occasion, etc. It’s not about a 50 yr olde looking like a 25 year old. None of us can pull that off
