Another Falkirk "Bairn" here. Auld enough to remember these two canals and the horse drawn barges. The wheel is a masterpiece of engineering and the Kelpies awe inspiring. Used to play on Antonines Wall though there's not much of the construction left. I now live in Canada but I have visited both. Very proud of my auld town and it's history. You are walking along paths of my childhood. Thank you. 🇨🇦
Hi Ann, that must have been something to see the horses pulling the canal boats, times sure have changed, I love exploring the history around there, so glad to have brought some memories to you and thanks so much for watching 👍
Love your “Wee Broon Van” travels. Originally from Dundee , now living in the Yukon Territory in Canada, your stories fill me with nostalgia a great appreciation for my homeland. I visited“ The Kelpies” two years ago and have the souvenir magnet on my fridge. Thanks for happy memories.❤️🐕🦺

just found you three on youtube.I loved your video and the enthusiasm ( matched by your beautiful furbie) was a cracking watch.Hopefully when covid rules allow I'll be back up in Scotland again and able to re discover my old stomping ground
Great travel journey, I was so fascinated with the wheel and it’s cool you showed us from all angles. I like how you keep showing it mixed into the walking portions! Bravo! Absolutely amazing sculptures of the horses both at daylight and night! When Tricia was showing where all you were going to walk….I was already tired by her first walking map tour 🤣🤣 Glad you kept some for another day 👍 Thanks for taking us along!!
Ha ha, thanks Jackie, I think Tricia's fingers were a bit tired after walking the map 🤣. The wheel is amazing to see and the Kelpies are something else. We slept well that night I can tell you. Thanks so much for watching and your lovely comments 😘.
Love the amount of detail you guys put into your videos. My wife and I are about to buy our first campervan and have taken so much inspiration from all of your videos. Thanks so much, keep them coming.
Thanks for the great feedback David, gives us the encouragement to keep 'em coming. It will be an exciting time for you, hope it fulfils your dreams like it has for us.
As a “Falkirk Bairn”, it was so good to see you visiting our Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies in your Wee Broon Van. Glad you enjoyed the experience. My In-Laws stay a couple of hundred yards from the Wheel, and we always popped up to the canal bank to watch it being constructed. It’s a fascinating piece of engineering. 😊👍🏻
Thanks for watching, it must have been amazing watching it being built, wish I had seen that, would have taken a while for me to do a time lapse though 🤣
great wee video, Love the Kelpies, we managed to see the Babies in NY as we spent 2 years in USA! We came home on hols 2017 and did the falkirk wheel Kelpies and surrounding area, lovely to see them again. Just hope it not long till we get back home for a visit. keep safe you guys. Janie
Lovely job. The Kelpies are amazing sculptures. Didn’t realise you can stay in the car park mind you we had a caravan then. So many things to see and do in that area. Enjoyed it so thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for that - great as always! We were lucky enough to see the ‘baby’ Kelpies when they were in Kelso - just want to see the parents now, especially at night. 💕🐾

Well done guys fantastic video and I hope they gave you free tickets on the Wheel for promoting their site, oh wait, no, its Scottish Canals run, no chance. 🤣 Many thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Thanks for sharing such an interesting video, the canal walk the Kelpies and the awesome canal wheel, I had seen a kind of documentary about it, but your version was so much better... Diana from Argentina.
I really look forward to yours and life is too short videos. On my visits to Scotland I enjoyed many of the places you go to. You mentioned calendar house which I visited because part of outlander was filmed there. The duke of sandringham had his head chopped off in the callender house kitchen😁.
