Any new views of the Lake District are always welcomed by me. Twice completed the Coast to Coast and the Pennine Way. Lands End to John OGroats and John OGroats to Lands End and a complete circumnavigation of the UK Main Island (ie England, Scotland and Wales). @@dvsnbanda Ennerdale is very peacefull but rather a steep climb out over to Borrowdale via Honister Slate Mine. NOW much improved via the stone path and steps unlike my first encounter way back in the 1980s with what I can only describe as a Mountain Goat trail to the Slate Mine then a dangerous road walk down into Borrowdale. PS a personal favourite area for me is Ennerdale and Borrowdale, so the Keswick area in general are well known to me.
