    I recently discovered you could set loops on the hot cue, and now I'm learning about active loops, that's pretty nice. There's a lot of buttons on these things and it's very easy to overlook a lot of them

    This has really helped me mate, I dip into electro-swing a tiny bit sometimes, I often just have a 4beat window for a transition and whenever I'm not comfortable with a track it just runs out before I have a chance to.Always wondered how you can pre-save loops beforehand. You're definetely one of the best Mentors on youtube. Keep it up

    I think it’s important to see both sides; structured and what you might try on-the-fly because ultimately, the whole purpose of learning structure well is to enable you to free yourself thru your own expression. Something I learned from Baryshnikov, a consummate master of technique that allowed him to dance like no one else whilst making it look EASY!

    Like always, Andrew this is amazing video :) I liked when you said it's not about the music genre for your course. My main genre is Hardstyle, but during Lockdown 2.0 I decided to have a go with the different genres, and the response was that fellow Tribe members told me that it's been hardly noticeable that I've been out of my comfort zone!! and that is why your course ir so amazing and well structured. Big Thank YOU Andrew!!

    • @ClubReadyDJSchool
      @ClubReadyDJSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't wait - trust me the more prep work you do between now and when your decks arrive - the more confidently you'll pick it up and set good habits in motion. It's like golf, you can practise and get your swing right without hitting a ball and then when you hit a ball, instead of missing, you smash it out of the ball park :)

    Awesome!
    Would you consider a more challenging transition mixing video, adding something different rather than last 16 bars of the chorus or outro. Like the loop roll one but introducing different techniques aswel. Legend

    Saved loops are great for sampling. With clean vocals you can also do really fun stuff. Honestly the hardware and software of nowadays make DJ"ing so much more intuitive. Maybe it would be nice for future videos to cover the history of DJ equipment. I can talk hours about this subject. ;)

      I'll be honest yes, but it could be early next year as most of this years YT videos I have already filmed and scheduled to allow time for me to constantly work on and improve my courses with one goal - my courses really help people by solving all their issues when mixing. But yes, but please be patient - I'll aim for January.

    I've been following your content for almost a year now and I've played for 4 months now and today I played live at a bar for the first time! It was amazing and its thanks to your content! I feel that you have thought me so much about DJing and its crazy that it has lead me to this point already! If this can happen with your free TH-cam videos, what could happen with your courses? I'm very very tempted to find out and at least I feel I owe you something for the content you post TH-cam 😄 But again! BIG THANKS!

    Good video! Please could you do one on tips for creating a mix to send to a promoter. For example things like whether to keep it relatively simple and safe or try to be as creative as possible

    • @ClubReadyDJSchool
      @ClubReadyDJSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on venue and the promoters goals for the event. But if I had to give an answer I would say creative as possibly but also pretending you're playing to the people that go to the club - do what that club does!

    Why can't I exit a presaved loop when I press on "Reloop/exit" on a 2000 NXS 1 it just reloops and I'm never able to get out of it. On other Pioneer gear it's just tabbing that button. What am I missing?

    another great video. can you do this with hot cues as well or does it have to be memory cues? whats the difference between using either?

    • @ClubReadyDJSchool
      @ClubReadyDJSchool  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, absolutely, either / or, I only used memory cues as not all club gear reads hot cues but in truth it's probably easier on hot cues.

    Thank you so much for your vids! Super helpful! I do have a question I was hoping you could answer. For some reason the active loops are showing up in my rekordbox software but after i export them to a usb and use on a cdj3000 the loops are not activating automatically (only if i press the hot cue button). Could this be a setting on the CDJ that i need to change or a setting in my export mode? Because it works with my ddj-rr controller plugged into my laptop but not on the cdj… and answers or help with this will be HUGELY appreciated!😊
