I have used that compressor and a similiar air drier for about 4 years on my Laser. They are frickin awesome.

That’s great to hear! Thanks for watching!

That's a huge difference in sound!!
One thing I wanted to mention. You said that would be the last time you were taking off your desiccant trap. You have to either replace the desiccant or take it out and put it in the over at about 220°F for a couple hours regularly. It gets saturated and has to be recharged/replaced or it stops working..

Yep, I definitely misspoke there. But for sure, the sound difference is really a shocker the first time you hear it running! Thanks for watching and commenting, brother! 😉👍

I have a California compressor and it is that quiet. I wish I had gone bigger but I am very happy with mine.

Man I couldn’t believe it when I first turned mine on. And it refills fast too!

@@MitchellsWoodwork Yes sir. Just fyi about once a month release the valve on the bottom to drain the condensation. I have had mine for about a year and still enjoy turning it on.

@@kevinrich4637 great tip, thanks. Do you have a desiccant filter hooked up to yours?

@@kevinrich4637 now that I’ve thought about it, it wouldn’t matter anyway since the desiccant is on the output side. Duh. 🙄 It’s been a long day, my caveman DNA is showing. 🤣

Thanks for all the info, especially on parking position on the Masso. I'd be interested in tips on conversation mode.
I also have a suggestion that you change the order of your air fittings. As it is now, if you disconnect the tank, all the air will dump out through the male connector. Also, you have two females on the filter. (Do what you will with that sentence) That means when you disconnect the horses to change the desiccant, THE HOUSING WILL STILL BE PRESSURIZED, which could be dangerous. Better to have a male at the inlet, and a female on the outlet.

      Wow! Great info, thanks!!

Coming out of the tank, I have a ball valve before the male fitting. If I need to remove that hose the valve will prevent the tank from draining. Isn’t this correct, or did I misunderstand your point?

I added your suggestion in the description of this video, and gave you credit for it. Contact me through my bio and I'll gift you a free 30 day channel membership. Thanks again!

The conversational mode is more for cnc lathes and mills, and I have neither. If any of you reading this know if any of the "wizards" could be used for the type work I do, let me know. Thanks!

Hah! I forgot you were mentioning names of supporters at the end of the video... I was watching with my wife and the look on her face when she heard my name... for a minute I thought she was gonna ask me for an autograph. Being mentioned in a YT video is about as close as I've ever been to famous.... LOL. Great video, and I can't wait to see the ATC hooked up and running. As for the perks: It is incredibly time consuming to record / edit / publish the videos, so the way I see it that's what we're really paying for... to support you in that endeavor because we all learn from and enjoy your videos. That, and knowing that I can call / email you if I need help with something is more than enough perk for me. I know some may disagree, but that's my two cents.
