K20/K24 RSX VS 370Z Nismo

- I'm a certified professional ricer, just wanted to let you know before watching. Filmed in Mexico and Speedo is way off because of my transmission, special effects computer generated in use.
Mods: K20 Civic Si Head K24 Block Motor: 260hp- H beam rods, acl race bearings, rebuilt motor. RBC intake manifold, Custom CAI. RBC intake port matched to the 70MM TB. K20 50 degree VTC gear. Tuned to 7900 rpm.
Vtec kicks in at about 3700 RPM, K20 oil pump.
KPRO V3, Honda LSD 4.7 FD 6 Speed
410cc RDX injectors
Exhaust: Skunk 2 Alpha header, Kteller 3" piping, vibrant ultra resonator to vibrant muffler.
Stage 5 XTD Clutch, Lightweight flywheel
It has type R lower control arms, torque motor mounts, energy suspension bushings, Megan adjustable coilovers. & power steering delete. Speedo off by 8mph (because of the Si trans)
Tires: Crappy chinese tires with good tread, lol.

MishoMods my cousin has the 02-04 version and it has at least $4000 worth of mods on it and I have to say that his car has so much grip it's scary and he wasn't even stepping on it hard because his clutch was slipping

Why is your speedo off?? I mean I know the Si have high frequency out put and the Rsx has low frequency out put but the Hondata doesn't adjust it??

Jav z34 rsx type s weigh like 2600 pounds and a nismo 370z around 3300 pounds, rsx ya makes 260 hp ( nobody said whp )but not anywhere near the torque numbers the nismo is getting... Nismo got walked
torque is for low down lazy comfort power, horsepower is what wins races

Thanks :) KPro uses stock ECU so I would send mine in instead of buying another stock ECU from them and having them chip it. Mods are in description now.

hey did you have to buy type r axles for those type r lower control arms? I've been told they'e 5 ml longer on each side.

Hey man I have a question about your build I was hoping you can answer for me:
Was it difficult to fit the alpha header on your k20/k24 frank build? Any issues with it not clearing the front sway or the header hitting the firewall or anything like that since the k24 block is taller?
I ran no front sway and solid poly mounts help with header install

K24a2 from 08 TSX , Not sure about the harness but KPRO is definitely recommended
B20 is very nice and puts down some serious torque. I had an lsvtec setup in my eg sedan. My personal opinion is that K series are just a little bit better as far top end goes. I now have a fa5 and really enjoying then k motor...
+deadkat5 agreed. It's definitely the updated model. However, building a b series setup has never been cheaper lol
+deadkat5 the b20 engine out of the crv is good... The k24 out of the crv, not so much. Better off with the tsx k24

Nice build! I picked up a G37s but have a TSX as my daily and I love it but mine has 300k+ miles so no point throwing lots of parts at is.. There's a guy here with a turbo TSX pushing 500 some hp (we live in Denver so a k20/k24 swap isn't as effective here as FI).
I'd love to go turbo but I need to save up for awhile. I wanted to get a g35 or g37 but never found a clean one for a good price, I'll see how long I stick with this car, lol

Aaron P you’ll need an after cooler, fuel return system, and a good clutch you came make upward 340+ with a kw kit
Ive got a CM stg3. Have an engine oil cooler coming. Have the full fuel system and Hondata.
What about exhaust? You’ll need a high flow header i recommend skunk2 alpha. Also would recommend getting a short shift kit.

never selling my Rsx it's just to good! my 0-60 time aint bad for an RSX i bought for 5k. Yes it was rear ended so it has salvage title, but i'm never selling it

Adrian Hernandez Only 220 whp at 7500 rpm but the car never really ran at its best, had a lot of issues with it. Needs to be done right and have all grounds covered, also don't put your intake too low to the ground, lesson learned haha

Vicente Qiu There should be a sticker on the engine that has the vin number from the car it came from, you should be able to look up the vin and find out what year it is as well as other details about the original car.

Keko402 No I don't think you should find any noticeable differerence, and K20Z1 head is the same as K20a2, just has slightly more aggressive cams, but I'd use TSX cams or drag cartel 3.2+

Yeah it's in the description of my other video, motor was always having issues even though it seemed to run healthy in this video, it wasn't assembled properly and ended up throwing a rod, the car will be coming back 10x stronger and faster soon though, stay tuned.
