Well I’m no expert but I’ve definitely got a long list of recommendations that I think you would both like 👍 I always try and ask about the dog friendly info too but I can always ask my dad as he takes his cockerpoo to France all the time!
Always used the ferry for crossing the channel..just so we could see the white cliffs disappearing into the back ground.. Part of the holiday..I remember when you got free food on the chunnel trip...and always ate in the drivers lounge..a tad cheaper..lol
I cant complain as this is the first time I’ve had to pay for the tunnel. My dad is also a Motorhomer and he had a frequent travel bulk buy of tickets that had to be used up by the end of 2022…so I benefited from him gifting them to me! Only had to pay for the return trip on this occasion. I’ve never eaten in the services either as we normally have some nice snacks prepared for the train journey or I also like to get over to France and stop at the supermarket for some French goodies 👍
Thanks Jay, very much appreciated. The tunnel is expensive but I’ve tried the ferry twice now and I’m going to have to take the hit on my pocket in future because it’s so much less stressful 👍 Enjoy France and thanks for watching ❤️
@@menopausalmotorhomer yeah that's fair enough. I plan to drive to Poland in the future so I might try it then, it makes more sense going in that direction 👍🏻
This makes us want to drive back to France immediately! I love that everywhere you go, it feels like there's so many open spaces and little villages with no one in them! There's so much room to breathe there. Great value for that lakeside pitch! You'd probably pay £35+ for that here. I think we have one of those camping cards, we had no choice one night and had to buy it for a site, might still be valid when we go back maybe not sure. Well done on the swim, was the water cold?! Good to see a bit of John too 😁
The Acsi cards go from Jan to Dec for the year so probably 👍 Just give it time…John is like Stephen and when he finally gets used to the camera he is a natural 🤣 The water was about 27 degrees which is the same as my local pool but it was 30 degrees at the lakeside so it was refreshing. I’ve managed to convince John that we can afford to go back to France at the beginning of September so we are going to do the east side…can’t wait!
Evening Jo, great vlog, looking forward to ghe rest of the holiday. Looks like you mix with some strange lot millionaire Paul and that Bertie Busx. All the best Bryan and Dawn Mr&Mrs_H_on_tour
Awww Thanks both. I’ve really enjoyed editing these as it’s been amazing to watch back over all the places we visited and what we got up too! Surprisingly not too much has ended up on the cutting room floor this time as I am getting more confident with putting some of the riskier stuff in 🙈
Another great vlog Jo . When we go to France you are the first person we will look to for advice ❤
