Thanks for the wildfire info, it's not until you visit somewhere that you realise the impact and scale of it all, I think we easily become detached when you see it so regularly on the news, it's frightening really.
The dune is definitely one we'd love to do in the future, and that campsite pool looked ace 😍 Not bad value really!
Glad it's not just me that gives up on pronouncing place names 😂

My naming conventions and poor French became a bit of a joke in the end. Hard to believe I manges to work and live in France in my late teens 🙈 The ACSI card saved us a fortune on campsites. You know me…I love a pool 🥂

I Hope you had a big bottle of water in the freezer when you got back to the van 😳 The soles of your feet must be like leather now 🤣

Thank you for the videos, so informative! We are going to France in August, just trying to plan the trip. Question please- is it easy enough to find campsites and free parks or we have to book in advance? And also, what are the websites you've used to find where to park? Thank you so much!

Hi Elana. Thank you for watching 👍 I use Search for sites and Park4night app. I also have Camper Contact and Camping Car Park (CCP). It’s very easy to find park ups but I normally have one or two back up options in the area just invade they are full. Campsites, I would suggest ringing ahead or booking online during august as it also the main French holiday season. Some campsites have a Complet sign if they are full but we have also asked and sometimes they can fit you in. CCP app tells you how many spaces are available but you need to purchase a €5 card on your first time staying on one of those types of Aires. Hope this helps 👍 Some tourist attractions/areas let you stay in the car park overnight for no additional cost so always worth asking. Have a fabulous time!
