I like this version the best. In some versions Nikiya just goes for the dagger for no reason. Here she is physically abused and severely threatened when Gamzatti wouldn't let her leave so it makes so much more sense

Nikita por su honestidad y bondad, lo tiene todo en contra y, a pesar de ello se enfrenta al poder de la hija del Raja, que la quiere esposar con el guerrero Solor que esta prometido con Nikita, la Gazmati le dice a Nikita que le costará caro que se haya enfrentado al poder que ella supone y al de su padre.La indefensa Nikita solo tiene su bondad, pro ningún poder y por desgracia a menudo vemos que la bondad no puede vencer a la maldad, al menos hoy por hoy.
se me olvidaba , hay una versión que me gusta más ya vere de ponertea, es la versión de Nureyev su ballet cumbre y l último, poco desoués murió.Salio al escenario y su amig tuvo que sostenerlo porque se CAIA al suelo.una maravilla tengon este baller y un DVD de su historia y de su obra.

Really good. I have seen many Bayaderes already, but this scene is amazing. Ludmila Pagliero an excellent actress. BRAVA !
Two of my favourite Etoile's Aurelie Dupont and Ludmila Pagliero (recently nominated) in one of my favouriite Ballets. What more could one ask for?

I do not like this version at all. Overacting and costume more for drama theater not for a dance. Ballet speaks by body movements, not the costume.
