@@jellyfox7573yes but due to the need of space missions they need to make light and small computers so instead of using vacuum tubes (form of first transistors) they tried out the semiconductor transistors and made a 4KB super strong and low power consumption computer size of a regular PC and which is installed in the centre of command module and they use much small technology for regular and simple maneuvers like staging docking navigation system are mostly calculated by engineers on the nasa .....

@@dNorshit wasn't answered well in this comment or the original video. The issue is the exposure on the camera was way too low because the sun is so bright on the moon due to there being no atmosphere. Really low exposure means that the much dimmer stars (relatively) would not be able to be picked up on camera

Partially true, but the camera could only picture the surface; it couldn’t photograph both stars and surface.
The 4kb of ram doesn’t include the hundreds of people that crunched the calculations by hand. The computers weren’t doing advanced simulations, they were just doing simple math

I was just about to say the same thing! There's a picture of a young woman, or a few young women?, standing next to piles of paper as tall as her with all the calculations she did for NASA. All that data can fit in the palm our hands now and then some. Reams of paper, hours and days of calculations by hand, the dedication to see it through. How cool is that!

Also, for as difficult as it may seem to send men to the Moon with 1960s technology, it would've been totally impossible to fake the Moon landings with that same level of technology, at least with the level of detail we see in the pictures and videos.

another important thing to consider is that the soviets literally confirmed that thay recieved the radio signals from the apollo 11 mission and found out that they were coming from the moon using triangulation. and if anyone would've had the motivation to expose the moon landing, it would've been the soviets.

The reason why the flag is straight is because there is a metal pole in the top of the flag to keep it straight. Also, even if there was no pole, the movement of the flag would change it’s shape and because the Moon had no atmosphere, it would stay that shape. The camera was held by a rover.

For those wondering about the 5th point, space travel is literally all geuss and check. So there really wouldn't have been a big need for computers except for maybe giant math problems. The only hard part about the moon landing was getting off and on earth. And on and off the moon, everything else is just pilot training and VERY precise angles
Trust me, that’s not the weirdest conspiracy theory about the moon out there. You’ve got theories like the moon being made out of cheese and the moon being hollow. Both are obviously false. Also they left a little something called a "Retroreflector" on the moon. Basically, it's a series of mirrors that reflect like back, regardless of the angle. So, what we can do is shine a laser on the moon, and get information based on the reflectors left on different areas of the moon.
The reason u didnt see stars on the moon wasnt bcs of the camera, it was the same reason we dont see stars on earth during the day (bcs the sunlight is too bright)

The reason the flag is straight and holds it position is because there is a support pole on top that isn’t too hard to see and there’s no atmosphere so the flag stayed in the shape that it was left in.
6) The CGI and Practical Work of the 1960s would not be able to Create a Event such as the Moon Landing. Just Look at any Movie at the Time, the CGI Would be HORRENDOUS, I don't Know about the Practical Work Tho.
It would be somewhat possible with practical effects but they’d need accurate data of what the surface of the moon is like so they would need to have gone anyway

The best way I can explain the ability to get to the moon on 4 KB of Ram is the same way they're able to shoot down missiles with the same technology. A whole lot of very basic math that the machine would basically forget once it was done with it.

I think its quite simple, people dont realise how advanced our technology actually was even then, incredibly smart people designed that rocket with years of testing with other rockets so it was a long learning process before we got there

4: They made it on 4kb of ram because they had a lot of very smart people doing a lot of calculations by hand, where as now we mostly use computers to make those calculations faster.

There was a series of interviews called MIT Sciense Reports, where a bunch of them went over several parts of the Saturn V rocket and Apollo program. One such video goes over the construction and use of the AGS computer. Most everything was hard wired.

We built nigh indestructible moving vehicles that shoot giant bullets, mini suns that burn down entire cities, metal machines that weighed tons but could literally float in the air, and mind you all of this stuff is undeniable, but building a metal tube with a lot of boom boom liquid that goes shoooom and then lands is difficult to understand? That sounds less complicated than nukes or airplanes

Stars camera problem was due to exposure not it was too far.
Exposure is how much light can get into a camera to get a brighter or dimmer image, in this case because its the literal moon its BRIGHT so bright they had to wear those visors, if you want to see the stars from the moon youd see nothing but white.

For anyone wondering How they made It back If the craft is Still on the moon. Simple. The Lander was two-pieced. One piece had a landing engine, a fuel tank, the camera, landing legs and stairs. That's the yellow part. The Second part is the ascent module, with a smaller ascent engine, the cabin and another tank. The landing module detached from the ascent module when they were leaving since It's Weight was Just Gonna make It harder to leave. Then the ascent module docked to the return capsule, and after Neil Armstrong and buzz Aldrin got back on the return capsule, the ascent module was detached and abandoned in lunar orbit, and after 2-3 days they were back home.

There is also day and night on the moon, which is the actual reason why there aren’t stars in the photo. The moon doesn’t have an atmosphere though, the earths atmosphere is the reason why we can tell the difference between night and day. (As well as the sun 🤓)
