- Today we're taking a look at a new modular robotics platform called UGOT. It has been designed by a company called UBTECH, who already have a wide range of products in the robotics space. The kit includes a central controller and then a range of legs, joints, motors and sensors which allow you to build a number of different style robots.

The quad spider bot is cute ! ❤
Backed for my boys after watched the video, and show the video to them, they said it’s cool very much
*It's ama - Ama - AMAzing!* 😀
Thank you for this video...I have pledged for 2 full kits (each for $500) Would you say the price was good/reasonable?
I think $500 a kit is a fair price, the actual hardware feels like it is good quality and fairly robust.
hey does anyone know why i cant get the instructions to load on ucode? if not does anyone know where else i can find assembly instructions for the ugot?
The assembly instructions and code are on the ucode website - code.ubtrobot.com/ugot/#/models
Can you use fpv
Can you put the arm on the quadruped?
This isn't a standard model but the idea is that from any of the base models (like the quadruped) you can add additional arms/sensors and then use the block coding platform to program in the functionality that you'd like from them.
that looks really cool, too bad about the proprietary software that could stop working at any time.
Yes, this is definitely a risk. It would have been a bit better if they had included a desktop version of the software so that you don't have to solely rely on their web interface being available.
how the heck did you get This and I still don’t know if the drone build works
He was obviously lucky to be sent one to test. The drone can't be built yet (it's one of the robots they'll need to produce extra parts for) 🤦♂️
@@neilrisley6667oh ok
@mr.idoanimation, they sent me an early version to test. They haven't yet completed the drone builds, these are still a "future release".
@@MichaelKlements Can you share the expect cost of this model from UBTECH?
