This was me the first time I witnessed Evil Seru Magic. Arm pops out "Really that was weak". Foot stomp "Ok not too bad". Juggernaut's head appears "AWW FUCK!"
This was a very emotionally charged battle, music included. Even watching you play, it brings back the feelings I had at the time of my first encounter.
Making villians good-looking is practical because being attractive makes a person more able to manipulate people, making the villian all the more dangerous. And I agree with you. Cort is so cute...
This is such an amazing battle.. The wonderful music and Cort's overall godliness (including his overwhelming attacks and how he just floats there looking all cool) makes struggling throughout this harsh game to get to this point completely worthwhile.

Denotes childish cuteness -Senpai term to refer to someone higher up in you in an organization, whether it be business, school, martial arts, ect. -Kohai opposite of senpai...underclassmen, ect. -Sensei literally "one who has come before" used for teachers, doctors, or masters...

Good Point There I love your Videos about Legend Of Legaia I'll try to beat Lapis but I'm level 38 right now... I'll level up to Level 40 and try him out with a lot of Phoenix of course
i think you can get it after floating castle. what surprised me is that he doesn't have double atk at this point. evil medallion+war god icon is super cool
ha saw what you did there. Another fun battle. Iv started to wonder this seams like an early version of what ff13 is promising to provide with multiple command inputs at once.
I have a love-hate feeling for that evil medallion- I love it when the wearer just goes full rage mode and launch a combo of attacks that stops who knows when. I hate it when shit happens-just one attack or none at all-just runs towards the target then just stops. Fffuuuuck!
Whats with Vahns rage status? What exactly does it do? It seems as if he does more damage, you lose control of him, and it seems as if hes inputting more commands than you normally could (ex: 20:10 into vid)

@theTAINTEDivory I consider that to be true of several of the PSX's RPGs. Legend of Legaia, Grandia, FF9, Chrono Cross to name just a few. The stories ad characters were so intriguing; the graphic designers just needed a few more years to catch up.

God that Juggernaut spell SUCKS!! One of the toughest non-optional RPG bosses of all. The first time through this game, I had to get lucky and not get hit with the Juggernaut spell in order to finally win this one. :) In later plays I found the better equipment, not to mention Horn, and was able to (barely) survive it if he used it. But damn.

Yes that is precicely what the evil medallion does, we cant control him but he could go for an unlimited chain of attacks, it jsut varies.

If I recall correctly, using Mushra on Cort while his shield is up will to a shitload of damage to the shield.
