I always wished they would make a sequel with the reincarnated Cort as the main character.
I’ve been racking my brain on how such a thing could revive the mist, antagonist and need for Ra-Seru. A reincarnated Cort sounds good.
I want a remake of this and another installment to this beautiful game, badly!
@@red1234321 In advance, I apologize for this long reply. There is a lot of stuff I just wanted to "throw out there" that have been in thought for many years since playing this game for the first time.
I always envisioned a situation where shortly after the disappearance of the Mist that new borders are established between surviving kingdoms/powers which could result in human vs human conflict again over who has the right to more natural resources & land.
The research of the Mist in this game was a result of trying to create a new weapon in a war between Conkram, and Sol. When the Mist became an apocalyptic event it caused most of the human vs human conflicts to cease at that moment in time although I can assume human conflict would come back years later after the Mist has been removed.
A revival of the Mist or introduction to some kind of artificial man-made Seru research in a second game could be justified through one of the sides during the war attempting to gain an edge while simultaneously trying to "do things differently" so on the outside don't appear as corrupt as the original disciples of the Mist. Ra-Seru would be unlikely to reappear naturally due to the destruction of Seru-Kai although different scenarios could be used to make them come back (perhaps an artificial man-made attempt to recreate Seru-Kai, essentially "playing God" going wrong to an extent).
A lot more questions from the scenario could create some interesting plot lines as well. Such as would the reincarnated Cort need to go by a different name? His life would be in constant danger growing up if many people who lost loved ones to the mist learned that the one that brought it was given a second life instead of any of the innocents that died. Would Noa keep the details of reincarnated Cort's previous life a secret from him to stop him from enduring the guilt? It is likely Cort's new life won't have a memory of who he was before he was born, and it is likely that he will be raised to be a better person than he used to be. Would the knowledge of a very young Noa suddenly having a child create a theory of Cort's reincarnation to the disgruntled public thus forcing her to leave him under the care of another person to keep him safe (potentially Vahn, or Gala)? This can be used to allow the beginning of the narrative to play him off as a completely different character while having his identity as Cort act as a life-changing revelation during his journey. Will, there be a crossroad for him to pursue the solution towards ending the human conflict by trying to "finish what he started" in a more moral way vs forsaking everything he used to be to redeem himself for the sins of his past life? There are a lot of different things that would transpire from having a reincarnated Cort as the main character that it's exciting to think about.

I really like how you shaped the events on Cort, all of it would be really awesome to see play out. As for the Seru Kai, I like to think it’s still around. Terra’s words about it we’re leaving a little room for hope to me and that’s enough. Haha

@@red1234321 Thank you for the kind words! I think you have a point on the Seru Kai. If they did make a sequel based around the world of this one then I would definitely want to see the Ra-Seru somehow integrated.

Part of me dislikes the ending Noa and Cort got. Noa is a charming girl, but is she capable of taking care of a baby?
Honestly, I paired Vahn with her just so she wouldn't be alone, even if part of me prefers to pair him with Mei.
Yeah, she is only 12 years old, so taking care a baby must be so difficult. But baby Cort received powers from Ra-Seru too, maybe at least he is immune to sickness like Rim Elm's people
