Very neat! I didn't play with MSX machines back in the day, but you make me want to investigate this further on my MiSTer Multisystem. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Exactly the same for me, I never had any exposure back in the day, it seems that a load of activision titles are on the msx, and they are pretty good......
@@CaptainCommodore From what I read in the past, the capabilities/hardware of the system are very similar to the ColecoVision - so they would have been very decent games for the day. At least, as some one who had an Intellivision... I really thought it was a great system!
Very nice dev board mate .. It looks good, I dig out my msx 64k and try it, but I've never used one, lol .. Goonies music sounds great, too ..

The Goonies goonies that you played was not written by Konami, but by MSX enthusiasts, where did you download the SD card image please?
I didnt download it, I got it from a friend who also has a mister, The goonies I know is from the C64, however this looks a lot like the NES version
