I’ve owned two 335is. Don’t wanna even talk about the maintenance. And my car isn’t tuned at all. My charge pipe broke taking my kids to school 😂😂😂. Still love it though !
To be straight up .. charge pipe upgrade is a must. I popped two w/ just the stock "335is" tune one at 45k and the the other around 75k just daily driving in ATL rush hour. Running an aluminum pipe now.
Really fun car. Just wondering why the cable holder is just hanging (no offense) .. get it back in place please. Very rare BMW's - 3k coupes made in complete total (MT & DCT) .. only 1k a year. If you got it for 15K, you stole the car. www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1058399
@@e92addict2 There is the "cable holder" / box just loose across the top of the valve cover plastic cover. The plastic clips do get broken and the last time I personally worked on mine, I found the dealership had broken a couple of the clips(I knew they did it because I was the only other person to work on it and they were not broken when I did). The lose plastic box over your engine is actually supposed to be attached to the "box" by your windshield that holds the cabin filter. Not trying to be a dck .. just trying to help. :)
You have people in the comments who know a lot about these cars and are here to tell you how it is, not how you believe it is. A stock charge pipe will not hold past 10psi, you do not have upgraded twins. The stock inlets are in place and do not connect to hybrid turbos. You’re missing the cowl filter. REAL long time n54 owners will tell you the truth because no one told them how difficult ownership would be, and they want to see yku succeed. Get the car looked over and do maintenance before mods. It’s a 335is, has just about everything you need to love the car as it is. Maintenance then mods. Good luck
I'm not saying I do I was saying I don't know. I've been working on n54 platform with multiple cars for 7 years and ik you can make nearly 600 hp with everything that ik i have current currently. My last car was a 335xi dyno was 587hp at the crank (so about 500 at the wheel )and ran 22 psi on the exact same setup I'm on now and never craked a charge pipe ill call it luck but its working. The car has been looked over and has new stock turbos and waste gate. Thanks for your support tho and I hope you enjoy the content I make with the car
@@e92addict2 So if you paid the 15Gs all then he got lucky too. So ill be watching to see what that got, hopefully you make some racing vids i can relate with...Good luck.
I don't know for sure but I am just assuming they are because I'm beating 550 and 600hp cars in races. But not counting turbos I'm FBO + stage 2 lpfp on full e85
@@e92addict2 you should do some logs and put it in virtual dyno to get an idea of the power. also Ive never heard of a n54 without port injection or a hpfp upgrade being able to do more than 400 on full e85.
Log dyno put me at 580whp and 550torque Also the is comes stock 370on over boost. I'm pretty sure 600 is the peak you can make before needing port injection.
@@e92addict2 maybe 600 on pump gas, but you gotta use a whole lot more e85 so the stock hpfp falls on its face trying to keep up. your car probably has an hpfp overdrive on it. unless the n54 in the 335is has an upgraded hpfp from the factory.
I understand that hp isn't the only factor but if I am relatively the same weight and neither car is struggling for traction obviously there is similar power figures.
I've beat quiet a few HC in my 335is DCT on 40 & 60 runs. I have around 400hp and 380tq to the wheels.
