    Started watching your channel one week ago, Steve. Owned a 60 mk1 bugeye senior year of high school, 1971. Loved it, did all my own mechanical work, but have learned more this week watching you than I ever knew. Love watching you work on Sprites.

    Outstanding little car there. I am so jealous right now. I love how simple cars used to be, no computer needed just some knowledge and willingness to get your hands dirty.

    You look at all that rust and in no time have removed a petrol tank I would have assumed was immovable! Ditto many other parts. This is proper recycling!

    I had an opportunity to buy one for $400 in February in Connecticut which is rainy and cold and absolutely miserable I loved bug eye sprites and wanted to buy it so bad but I was neither a mechanic nor wealthy so I had to get a beetle because I was a poor student still it brings back such fond memories smiles thank you very much Stewart

    Thanks So Much for another Great video. You & John Swift make Thee Best "how to" MG Vids on the Tube. I also enjoy your track videos a lot.
    A video I would like to see you make, if you would, IS a list of some of YOUR Go To --- part sources --- say from NAPA to Moss, IMHO I think it would Make Great Content, coming from a guy with your Knowledge to help us Noobs.
    Now that I've retired I got 3 lil' Chrome Bumpers I gotta get to. 2 Sprites & a Spoked Midget. lol ..... Thanks Once Again Steve.

    Hi Steve, it really puzzles me that anyone can give a "thumbs down" to your videos! You are clear and concise with your narrative, the content is always interesting not tedious or boring and your editing is faultless. I'm a fan of old British cars myself---being an old British guy (now living in Ireland ) so I'll just say thanks for sharing and good luck with your projects.

    Out of curiosity, my 76B has had issues stumbling at about 3k rpm or so, Im stumped. New fuel pump (I can hear it sometimes not pick up fuel) which made it seem fine until the needle and its housing rattled loose in the carb, and now when I topped off the oil its back

    • @alterra9774
      @alterra9774 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Happens in 3rd and 4th around 3k maybe 35-45mph. Timing read 33 degrees but I bumped it down a little bit so figure 31/30. Only major changes I did was new exhaust and radiator
