Wow some filler in that car isn't there, and its raining ginger dust! I have been looking at getting a Morris for years now. I would be looking at a new wing to save you the time if the owner has the budget. looking forward to this one.
@SimpsonsClassics yep had a chat about it and banned him from watching the video 😂 he will source 3 wings for me and a grille the car came to me with a good few replacement panels so looking forward to getting at it. It might bankrupt me with cutting discs though 😂
It is there is alot more than I thought but I think a nice sympathetic restoration is in order for it cut the rust get some fresh metal In and get it safe to drive. Thanks for watching mate
I have one with no structural rust just 2 or 3 little bubbles in removable panels l just replace the engine done the brakes but still a bit strange with out a booster l am getting to old to get it back on the road
@MaureenBentley-k6t that's such a shame it sounds like it would be an easy fix to get you back to enjoying your classic. If you are based in ireland feel free to message me in Instagram a few pictures of the car you can find me @minidaly87 or the same on Facebook
sad how so many of these old cars get left to rot i want to get one but rather have a moggy with metal not rust...if your doing the work good luck and best wishes.

@@MiniDaly87 haha love it! Looking forward to more on this one.
Nice starting point. Fair bit of welding required! Looking forward to seeing the progress.
@life952 I'll defiantly need plenty of fresh steel. And welding wire. I think I may have to take up tea drinking as well. Thanks for watching
Give it a Name : RUSTY.
Maybe : SOONER.
Sooner not Start than Start. 🇦🇺
Looks like a lot of work. It'll look nice finished. Looks like it doesn't need new tyres 😊.

Great to see the old Carlow registration.
I think it's a laois reg. Carlow was ci I think. I could be wrong thanks for watching
@@MiniDaly87 No, it's definitely Carlow, CI was Laois, looking forward to the restoration.
@Rinty145 thanks for that I really need to brush up on my old reg plates. Everything in my current fleet is the current format
Replace wings john
@@dannyhanley8927 I wasn't going to until I poked the front of it 😂

At least this one is getting saved and will see the road once more. All work will be done in house by myself. Thanks for watching
That one’s had it - entire body shell needs replacing!
