Twin carb fed Mini tears up the countryside. Loud, lairy - and very very purple? Most definitely.

- PPC's Will Holman checks out Alex and Karl's father-son built Mini that's thoroughly unsubtle (in the best way possible) and is fed by forward hanging twin 40 Weber carbs. Induction noise? This classic road-going go-kart certainly has that.

Many thanks to Will and the team. Sadly i couldn't be there on the day, (hospital!) but a great video, and many thanks to all the people who have left such kind comments. Mad Bess is something myself and Alex are quite proud of and yes, driveway built !!
Fantastic build. Subbed to your channel.
@grimeybanger many thanks appreciate that.
Awesome build sounds very nice!
This is just a proper old school blokes channel...that Mini breaks all the rules... priceless 😂..
That is one pretty Mini, not to mention it seems like a bit of an animal too.
After a crap week.... This is a pick me up... What a great little Mini, sounds bloody awesome. Thanks PPC.
Any time!
Swear i could smell that A series engine what a lovely thing. Old school rules. 😎🙏👊👍✌
I am so glad he kept the a series, I think it tales away the character of a Mini when people swap them out.
Absolutely. No problem with a Hayabusa swap but keeping the A series is a nice touch - and it was done very well too
Brilliant, fantastic build, there’s nothing nicer than a noisy mini and I should know I’ve got one. 👍🏻
Couldn't agree more 😎
fantastic sound.
It just roars doesn't it :D
Lovely Color and you can Never go wrong with a Mini
Fantastic work... it needs a straight cut gearbox just to finish it off 😊
5 speed jack knight maybe ?
@@raychambers3646 they aren't all that strong really. And like hens teeth!
Gotta love a proper Mini and on 10 inch wheels too 👌 not sure about the purple but sounds sweet!
Mega, as always - thanks chaps 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it! The colour really made it for us 😎
Cool car. Thanks team PPC
The quality of the videography is improving nicely on each video! Keep it up!
Appreciate the comment, thank you! We've learned a lot over the past couple of months so the results seem to be showing 😎
That is a glorious mini! Thank you guys 😁
Nice!
I'm not keen on minis as I'm 6'4" and don't fit them very well.
However, anything built outdoors on a driveway and completed is a story worth hearing. Top job.
Absolutely, gotta respect those driveway builds all the more 😎 They did a lovely job of it
I'm 6ft5 and own 3 minis ... just got to get the seat right 😅
@@acmeoz I have 5 minis a micra and a imp
Bliddy hell what a noise, fully agree with Alex, bike conversions etc are fine but they do alter the handling, cant beat a good stout A series, was into Mini's years ago, ultimate i had was a Mk3 with a 1380 Swiftune motor, always dreamed of a 7 Port with Webers.
Glad you enjoyed. Yeah, the noise was spectacular echoing through the trees. The dog walkers probably loved it just as much..!
The proximity of those stacks from the bonnet must be an issue
Great car, but I'm not sure running it with no intake filters is very smart for longevity 🤔
