An expansion chamber exhaust like the MZ65 or CDH67 will add at least 5mph to your top speed. If you want to hit 40mph+, you'll likely need to do some porting. Widening the exhaust port (no more than 32mm wide) will increase all around power. If you need more top speed, raising the roof of the exhaust port will allow you to reach a higher max RPM (just 1mm higher to start with. You can do more, but keep in mind that your low end torque will decrease with higher exhaust duration).
I have a huge problem in my 49cc 4-stroke bicycle where the internal thing of the gearbox transmission unfortunately snapped or broke completely a few days after riding, meaning that when I twist on the throttle, the bike would not ever move, so then I purchased a brand new gearbox transmission. It sucks when this happens and you have to spend more money than usual on the bicycle. I wonder if there are much simple modifications I can do to make my 4-stroke bike run faster?
Want more speed you can take the barrel of the exhaust and cut the stem bit and put it back on or buy a new exhaust, it’s surprising how much it changes the speed and a smaller back sprocket ⚙️
It sounds like it’s running pretty nice, but you should tune your carby now you’ve added more airflow. The biggest way to get power/speed gains on these is with the exhaust, and running hot fuel.
Its simple. Port your cylinder, match the case ports, balance your crank, I heard using more oil (make sure to jet ur carb again correctly) helps with more power, upgrade your pipe to a good one that works well for whatever cylinder you have, downsize your sprocket (usually 40 or 36T, sometimes 32T which is overgearing, on 26" wheels etc), upgrade carb (more air, more fuel) or simply buy a better engine/cylinder, or build a hybrid. It's all simple. You can also raise your exhaust port for more rpm, but I have no experience on that.
Not only will a longer intake reduce power (as someone stated earlier) but ANY drastic turning of the intake (such as your 90 degree turn) will drasticly effect your power
I had a cheap 80cc kit from eBay and just off using 8oz of octane booster in 95 Ron fuel mix and tuning the stock carb to that I was able to get 38 to 44 no mods. After adding a 32t sproket with a better hub adapter and exhaust and a nibb carb I was able to reach 55, then I ran into a issue where I broke the connecting rod. At 50 to 50 for long periods of time
idk if i got some special bike engine but no upgrades so far except cutting the pipe inside muffler and still goes 35mph even it goes 40mph on 44T sprocket 80cc engine got on it
That's a good idea, but where I live, there are a lot of hills so I didn't want to sacrifice the uphill speed. The motor kit had three options for the sprocket teeth and I chose the balanced one where it would give me the good speed for both uphill and straight aways. 😁 But I might try a smaller sprocket on my next bike.
05:04 Did you try turning the air intake upside-down...looks like there might be more room if you did...the carb might have fit...just sayin'... Thanks again for a better-than-most how-to video!!
If your using more air you need more fuel so up jet the carb as well. Get a new intake and a bing 15 also regear it. Your probably just runni g out of gear at the top.
It sounds like it's running better, if you want better performance I would look at the poo poo muffler for these engines. You might have to do some carb tuning afterwards though.
Honestly, if you just take it off instead of drilling holes it will not make a difference unless you’re driving in the sandstorm the engines don’t last long and it won’t affect it too bad I’ve been around one for a year now one and I haven’t seen any problems
If you take the little muffler off you go a little more faster but it will be louder and if you crouch down when you ride you go faster to I got up to 39 doing this I also have a smaller sprocket
Lol gear it . U might gain half a horse power with everything changed. Google top end speed with Jack shaft . It's all about gearing . A 36 tooth will give u a 40 mph with decent take off.

Bro your so sloppy. Hahaha

Thank you 👍
Mix your fuel with toutelene or xylene to increase your octane you’ll get the most speed increase for your money
Good idea, 👍

I haven't really messed around with 4 stroke bike engines but I'm pretty sure there are a few things that can be used to upgrade them with

Thank you for the information, I will definitely use it on my bike 😁👍
What kit did you buy that thing is balanced good by sound of it on video... nice... few little upgrades that thing will rip
I bought the Zeda Firestorm 60/80cc motorized bike kit from bicycle-engines.com (im not sponsored).

Thanks for the information 🙂
What size drill bit did you use to drill holes in the carburetor?
I believe we used a 15/64 if that is too big then just go smaller

If you get a smaller sprocket, you’re good way faster to go like 45

We did try, but it didn't work, we spent like 2 hours trying to figure it out lol. Thank you for watching 👍
how did u do that the carb is like offset if u know what i mean
We welded a piece of metal tubing to a custom made base, we made it off set to be out of the way of the frame 👍

That's a good idea, in the next video I will take off the muffler 😁. I will have to do some research about how to tune the carb.
They sell a offset tube for your carburetor. I have one for the same bike.

get a short aluminum intake so your carb doesnt keep messing up
Ur gas filter is upside down bro
Heck yeah bro
Your leg is constantly hitting it 🤣🤣
Doesn't matter it was PVC it wasn't gonna last
Long manifold intake takes away power since the gas & air has to travel farther to reach the engine.
Thank you for the information 😁
A smaller intake would be great instead of that angle of that carburetor when your dad puts on there😊
😁
