Blender 2.83 Car Modeling - Part 2 [The Hood]

  • We will now begin the main modeling of the vehicle in this part starting with the hood. I had to model this hood about 6 times just to get used to process in order to keep the tutorial as quick as it can be. You may have noticed this part is about 32 minutes long, and I'm sure some parts are going to be about that long depending on its complexity as I want to keep it, one part per episode. It works for me (although I have no plan what you are saying: D, because I unfortunately only speak German), but it looks almost as good for me as in your video (but only almost): D
And if I ever understand your techniques without knowledge of English, then everyone must understand it: D

there is a slight issue at the side of the hood. The surface which is portrayed by 'the line that disapears', does not end with the edge of the hood it actually carries over to the door and ends just before the surface for the vent cut out starts. Please check the reference image. the blue print itself has got it wrong. I will try to make that change when i am modelling my car. this is my first serious modelling project on Blender... wish me luck!
