I have never understood why they put a huge house on a tiny lot and then on top of that put a pool in back. That leaves ZERO yard for kids to play. If the lot is already small do not add a pool as no yard left.

Ha, I live a few miles from here in one of the more poorer neighborhoods where houses are only a half-million. Native 60yo Texan and I can say without a doubt that house prices are becoming the new California. In 1986 I paid 48,000 for a new 3 bedroom, 2bath, 2 car garage with fireplace, brick and stone home in a decent area that house is now on Zillow for 247K. What happened to this world???
