@@CaptBurgerson It's also possible he forgot Link before, since in botw he mentions nobody being able to see him since a century ago. Albeit the only time Hetsu could have met pre calamity Link was when he pulled the sword as a child
@@KairiKey989 capt showed the korok puzzles were canonically done so Hetsu doesn’t recognize the only dude who was able to see him? Since he has his maracas it means Link did fetch them for him. I’m sorry did Nintendo drop the ball on this one.
The part that bothers me about a 100 percent run being canon is the Tunic of the Wild. Did Link just throw it away after completing all the shrines or something?
@@mercury2157 nah Misko just stole all of Link’s armor sets from BotW and hid them around Hyrule again. Probably dropped the Tunic of the Wild in a puddle of quicksand or something. (I made that up of course)
Another point in favor of the 100% botw run being cannon to totk is Link having all heart containers is the intro sequence, meaning he probably did all botw shrines. He also has the master sword, which is also optional and is skipped in any% runs of botw
@@Rose-ef2cm if it was at its full strength it would be glowing all the time. It isn't glowing at first in the intro, and (spoilers ahead) in the memory where Link pulls it from the pedestal in Korok Forest before he and Zelda go investigate the Gloom beneath Hyrule Castle, it isn't glowing there, either
The “Tunic of Memories” is almost certainly a replica made by the bargainers, and not Link’s original Champion’s Tunic. That one was likely modified by Link between games, and is what he was wearing in the prologue scene, which gets ruined by Gloom
From all the direct sequel games i've played (especially the yakuza series) 100% playthroughs were always canon, so i don't see why tears of the kingdom wouldn't be the same. So i do agree that the completionist run is indeed canon, even if the player themselves didn't do all side quests in the previous game.
The Dishounored series notably doesn't do this. There is actually no way to play a canonically accurate version of Dishonored 1, as some of Corvo's canonical decisions aren't something the player was allowed to do.
I think a difference is that Breath of the Wild didn't feel like a game that was meant to be 100%, particularly with the Korok seeds. Funnily enough the Korok seeds are one of the biggest indicators that the 100% playthrough was canon.
Most sequel games I have played just assume the main character did everything important, so I don't really understand why it was thought it would be different here. Even skyrim seems to imply the champion of cyrodill did every questline in oblivion
@KairiKey989 lol even more than that, in Morrowind it’s assumed that somehow the timeline split so that the hero of Daggerfall could do every possible ending even if they contradicted each other, and then the timeline somehow reconverged lol
You talked about how Link is introverted and not actually memorable, but I think it's worth pointing out that he probably doesn't even tell many NPCs his name at any point. There are a lot of quests where all the speaking Link does is essentially "here's that item you wanted" or "I did that thing you wanted"
I did mention that somewhat in the original video. Often when asked who he is Link will respond simply with “I’m a traveler” rather than his actual name 😅
It's probably worth noting that resources like the Zelda Wiki are still a work in progress. So many character pages don't have much info on character locations and roles in Tears of the Kingdom yet. As a result, if you used them to check on seemingly missing characters, you may have found pages that didn't list them in TotK or didn't add any info yet. As for what's canon... honestly that should probably be a video in its own right. Based on dialogue I'd say that the Divine Beasts, getting the Master Sword and building Tarrey Town were obviously canon, and you could make a good argument for the shrines and Korok seeds, but beyond that it's vague. Thanks for the follow up video!
It's crazy that he did a new playthrough taking notes as he played with this in mind . Hearing bits of his progress in his streams was fun, and such a tease, waiting for the video, hahahaha.
I believe the true ending (Link getting all the memories) is canon. Sidon's murals tell us what happened when they reached Zora's domain, for instance. Also getting the white horse, since the white horse was in that scene.
@@ghoulchan7525 this is a great point! If the cutscenes of the games are held to the standard of absolute canon then you could argue the fact that TotK starts you off with the same amount of hearts you’d collect after a full run of the shrines in BotW (which include shrine quests that typically affect both future NPC interactions and the physical world of Hyrule) is of great significance. Note that that the cutscene goes out of its way to show Link’s heart containers drain away, and you don’t start off with 3 hearts or even the maxed out hearts you get in a full run of TotK, but the exact number you max out in BotW. But yeah in the end everything is up in the air and it really doesn’t matter
When it comes to the 100% discussion, there could be an interesting middle ground. A good 5-7 years of adventures happen off screen between the two games, so there could totally be a situation where Link does all the Shrines and Divine Beasts, then kills Ganon, then does all the Koroks and Side Quests. It could be that Link has done every single thing in BotW, he just didn't necessarily do it during the actual events of the game. That's a fun way of reaching a compromise. (I'm still 100% all the way though, baby!)
I know I've read a lot of people were disappointed that TotK didn't really have many save data check things, but gosh am I kind of glad about that as someone who 100%ed BotW on Wii U, I'd hate to miss out on references just for playing the wrong version of that game :c
Same (except for the 100%ing part) ((I got stressed out from the hero’s path data getting deleted)) Anyways, I started on the WiiU and transferred my save data to a new account on the switch, so all I had in terms of TOTK was horses from my second play through and no Champion’s Ballad selfie.
I also found Zyle on my original playthrough! I specifically remembered him from Breath of the Wild so I took notice when I spotted him. So, can confirm, he's indeed still around.
I'd agree that the 100% run of BotW is canon for TotK's story, if only because historically Nintendo has presented Link as a very dedicated hero. As a character there's this expectation that he somehow manages to do all these things and defeat Ganon and save the princess all in a reasonable amount of time (regardless of how many actual days it took us as players), because he's just that good.
*Assuming* the peak of hyper-competency, the shortest BOTW 100% speedrun is around 15 hours, which would be around 90 in-game days. Even the lower ends of the BOTW 100% speedruns of closer to 48 hours is only around 300 in-game days. Given this (which to be fair is not perfect, his in-game previous canon actions cannot be mapped to speedruns 1:1, the speedruns just act as an example of Link operating near the top of his capability) I think that it is very reasonable that a hyper-competent Link gets everything done in a relatively short amount of time.
Over 400 NPCs with dialogue that may change depending on when and where you talk to them, and you had the nerve to make a...gasp...mistake. How ever can we forgive you Cap. Giving this a like.
Im pretty sure the reason why the monk is missing from tears is just like all the other monks he vanished into dust after his trial was completed. Kinda hard to return after becoming ethereal
In terms of canon, I agree! I just included him because unlike the other monks we actually never see him vanish into dust. You can go back into the final trial after finishing the boss fight and he’ll have returned to his little seat and can even be challenged to a rematch
I love this video and the initial one you did so much. I remember feeling a little disappointed when I first started totk bc I did in fact get the impression that most people forgot Link and thought that was silly given he's THE hero, but your data analysis and explanations and arguments proved me wrong! These two videos actually made me see totk in a much more positive light and made me realized how skewed my perception was. thank you for your work, it's truly truly amazing!
Mattison, a brand new NPC with her own side quests that exists at the very start of TotK, is the very result of an optional side adventure in BotW. Tarry Town alone is pretty much enough proof in my opinion. 100% runs are canon as far as I’m concerned.
Ambiguity is certainly an intentional part of Switch Zelda's writing. Something I see Aonuma and Fujibayashi say in response to a lot of interview questions is "it's up to the player's imagination," up to and including the interview question of "Are Link and Zelda a couple?"
Absolutely! Which is a big talking point in the original video, most of the people who don’t recognize Link are Gerudo (who Link spoke to while disguised), Travelers, merchants/shopkeepers, etc. The characters with whom Link had meaningful interactions with remember him
Even if they remember there doesn't have to be an indication. So when you go to your grocery store. - Hey can I get 5 eggs? - Sure 3 rupee. - Here 5 rupee, - Here is your change. I mean each time you go there there won't be an indication that they know you. That is not how people make conversation. It is embarrassing to hear that people obsessed about this. Most Zelda fans have no clue about basic human interactions. On top of this, Link is antisocial person. He doesn't make long conversation with people.
i just left a comment on your other npcs remembering link video saying i liked it... and now i see another one!! love this and can't wait to watch! i loved your personal stories and the info on the last one, it was a great watch and i will definitely be subscribing
And about those stables, I found out the hard way that the Master Mode data doesn’t carry over because I had more horses in that run and none of them showed up and that would probably also cause other issues both with game data tracking and what sort of interactions they got with the stables.
You are so right!! It bothers me when people say they want everyone in the game to explicitly acknowledge them and what they did in BotW, but that would make no sense in the story. Why would everyone suddenly want to talk to Link about what he did about 5+ years ago? Everyone at the same time especially. The way they made the dialogue and the follow up with NPCs is way more natural and allows for less changes between players who have or do not have a BotW save file on the Switch.
Wow when I 1st saw this addendum video I thought someone else was just being overly critical of you but once I realized you were actually doing this yourself I was looking foward to it. You really did tons of work and then tons of extra work for these 2 videos impressive! The biggest thing that I guess I kind of noticed but never fully processed is that all the things like Korok puzzles from Breath of the Wild were still done in Tears of the Kingdom. I think that is amazing and it seems like 100% is cannon! Something I already knew was that the portrait being in Link/Zelda's house was only there if you did the DLC. Because I saw playthroughs of the portriat and stabel hourses still being in the sequal but I played Breath of the Wild on Wii U and Tears of the Kingdom on Switch so unfortuneately I didn't get those things. Still great video.
This addendum is fantastic and reminds me of the painstaking time I put into trying to get the name of every Gerudo, Zora, Rito, non-monk Sheikah, and Goron for a name randomizer project I’ve been doing on and off and the way that there is always someone somehow that slips through your attention cannot be overstated. Glad you were able to find them and throw them into the data set even if the changes were statistically insignificant. It’s just that nagging idea that you don’t have everything. I’m in favor of ambiguity meaning the type of run you have can go any way. I also have completionist tendencies (but I draw the line at Koroks, when the inventory’s maxed out I need nothing else) so it’s easy for me to see most of the things I’ve done probably canonically happened but for simplicity I can reasonably assume “all beasts and DLC and MOST side quests, Tarrey Town is required” is the easiest “canon” interpretation that steps on the least amount of toes. But ultimately it doesn’t matter. Glad to see the loose ends tied up.
I had no idea who was Hudson in Tears. I never did Terry town, cause I never found Link’s House. It took my friend saying “wait, you never found the link’s house?!?” For me to go back and actually find it and complete it (after beating tears)
I think most of the ambiguous dialog may be due to the difference in nature between english and japanese. Because they have different words for I based on gender and relation to the person they are talking to and I assume that this extends to other similar words. These could have been translated to just I, you, he etc. So the logical next step to the project is to search the japanese version to answer the question once and for all. Also this project took dedication to complete.
I wonder how much dialogue refrencing BotW was written, but cut for time, breaking pace, not confusing new players and so on. Possibly a LOT, especially given the dev time. (Also I'm curious what is the opinion of the folks that dislike the amount of people that remember length on open air-style games. I feel like strict memory side would be more on the linear side, but maybe not)
I kinda wanna say "probably not as much as you're imagining". Like, despite all that Dev time, they _still_ had that Giant Hole of "we _know_ that's not Zelda, but still let everyone chase the fake one". If they couldn't think of ways to cover such an obvious situation, I don't see them spending _that_ much time on BotW references either.
Hello, and long time no talk! Jk lol. I was the guy who recently expressed misgivings with the "inconsistency" of Mipha's armor in a comment on your original video. And after you responded with the answer to that quandary my first instinct was to go into the game and verify what you said about the chest piece being left with the Zoras was accurate, but realized a variety of different things about myself and this situation. The first and most hilarious being that I'm just playing too many things at the moment to go peeking under every rock and vase in Tears to verify that info right now without abandoning the games I'm currently playing lol. One of which is a replay of Twilight Princess. So I've decided, at least for the moment, to trust in your time, analyses, and efforts as a Zelda-tuber and assume that you're info was accurate. And going with that assumption I have to admit I'm a little embarrassed, if not a little relieved lol. I really was torn up by the idea that detail went unaddressed, and that negativity has permeated my perspective since I first noticed it. I'll admit I can't 100% remember, but I recall wanting to find a reason or solution so badly that I hovered the domain for a while looking for an answer before I gave up and pressed on with my playthrough, but I think your video here just reminds that games are vast and complex beasts, and just how easy it can be to miss even the obvious things sometimes, let alone the obscure. The second being that I admittedly made my first comment on your other video before I bothered to watch it, which is also embarrassing to admit lol. I like to pride myself on my wisdom and open-mindedness, but the human nature occasionally shows itself, so I apologize for jumping the gun before. I mentioned in those other comments that I was a bit of loner who almost never has the opportunity to express my feelings and perspective on things, and by extension rarely has them challenged, which you did with your clarifying comment. It was after it that I watched through your whole video, and watched your addendum as well before commenting this one. And though I will admit my larger misgivings and disappointments with the Switch era of Zelda still stand your videos did succeed at convincing me that the 'recognizing Link' problem isn't as big of a burn as I once thought it was, and managed to bring a bit of peace to an otherwise frustrating part of my experiences, which I wholeheartedly welcome. So again, apologies for the ignorance and impatience, and thank you for challenging a part of my perspective that deserved to be.
Great follow up video! I’m still impressed by the work that must have gone into your first one. Also love that you linked that video! I was thinking about it right before you mentioned it, it’s really cool to see the attention to detail in many of the npc’s and world. Edit: Also I’ve got to know where Celessa is. I still haven’t found her in my playthrough and can’t find anything online about her. I thought it was cool that she respected Zelda from 100 years ago and wanted to see if she had anything to say now that Zelda had returned.
I assume the BotW save data doesn't have information about most random NPCs, so they can't do what they do with the stable masters, but they totally could've done it for Bolson and Hestu.
I had no idea that a prior BotW save affects a TotK game! We have BotW on WiiU so there's no carryover and I guess I got more ambiguous responses then. But yeah, I got the whole "these are retail workers who maybe met him a few times several years ago" factor. I was only surprised when it seemed like NPCs I interacted with repeatedly maybe didn't remember him - but as you point out, that's comparatively rare.
I personally lean towards "100% BOTW is canon" (though I never did 100% myself). But I don't think that necessarily discredits a lot of your conclusions on why certain folks do or don't remember Link. Heck, I forgot a great deal of them too.
"6th most watched" It should be your first most watched, not just because this seems to be a reeaaaally common misconception, and not because you dont have videos I like alot more, but purely because that must have been a MASSIVE pain in the arse to do.
It's weird that some of the Hateno people don't know Link, assuming that he was with Zelda as frequently as you would imagine... but for most characters, it makes perfect sense. You spoke to someone, once, five years ago? Sure, you might remember the interaction, but probably not the face. I spent a couple minutes giving a woman directions while walking my dog four hours ago, but unless she was wearing the same outfit, I couldn't pick her out of a crowd.
The previous video covers the Hateno situation. Zelda is a social extrovert while Link is a plank of wood who always stays away from the crowd. Most aren't gonna notice the silent dork standing a few meters away who doesn't even say hello most of the time.
The last video and this one were so awesome because it really was something that was a big deal and really struck a nerve for people when playing the game. Thanks for showing people the facts
i'm on the side that bolson should remember you he built your house and he recruited him and all the people to move to tarry town. link is a founding father of tarry town and no one remembers him.
I’d argue he does also, but I will say as a point of contention that he didn’t build your house, or have much involvement with Tarrey Town. The house was already standing, he was planning to demolish it before Link bought it. “Building a house” isn’t the same as choosing not to destroy one that is already there. You can however pay him to build furniture for you. As for Tarrey Town, that was all Hudson. Bolson only ever goes to Tarrey Town to attend the wedding, he had no involvement in building the town. It was Hudson that Link helped recruit people for as well as give supplies- and of course Hudson does remember Link as he should
I like your perspective on what is cannon from BotW and why Nintendo made it so ambigous. I never thought about it that way and I think I appreciate it more like that. Also f*ck hestu I BROUGHT ALL YOUR POOP, THEN YOU GAVE ME A LARGER POOP AS A REWARD AND NOW YOU DON'T REMEMBER ME???
I think an important fact on people "not knowing" link are the yiga. They hunt for link and mask as zelda. Maybe they mask as link, too. So recognize link might bring trouble, cause you may recognize a false link.
I think it makes total sense that anything in the game, whether you experienced it or not, is canon. It seems like the logical alternative would end up following the lines of: if you've never played Ocarina of Time, you could just say "well none of that is canon because I never experienced it." That would also make DLC canon.
Even so, very fun videos! I learned a lot, and you may have just convinced me that Link did indeed 100% his previous adventure. He certainly cares about the people of Hyrule enough…
@CaptBurgerson You Really Got Your Point Across Nicely & As Always, You Did Great In This Video & The Last One!!! Not Only Did You Put A Lot Of Hard Work Into It, I Was Always On The Edge Of My Seat From Both Of Them...Not A Single Boring Apart Whatsoever!!! Please Keep It Up!!! 💪💪💪💪💪
I want to make a correction to a *critical* error you make in this video: you CLAIM that you were off in how you described Bolson last video and perform a 'mea culpa.' THIS IS WRONG ... because you handled it pretty perfectly last time; the internet arguments are just going to internet argument. No matter how clearly or how much you stress the ambiguity of what you were saying, some people were always going to (intentionally or unintentionally) ignore this in favor of their own take on things. Rock on, my dude! These are great videos!
I know this is old but I think Zile is probably only loaded into versions of TOTK that are played on profiles with BOTW save data as the version of the world of TOTK has several differences depending on if there is BOTW save data or not. More NPC will remember or at least have heard about Link, including Tarry, and recognize Link very quickly in a comedic way where he doesn't notice because he is stressing over notes and his daughter but then does a double take and apologizes for being too distracted to greet Link properly and Amali in my game gave me the second dialogue before completing the wind temple meaning in the BOTW save data world she remembered seeing and hearing of Link from her husband. Also, I have watched videos of people who don't have BOTW save data and compared it to my world, noticing several NPCs missing that were in the BOTW save data world. So it seems certain characters are locked behind a BOTW save data required lock in the game's code. As for what is canon in the Japanese version the game, it makes it very clear that Link and Zelda are living together, meaning Link got the house personally, I like to think he did that quest after getting all his memories as if the player did the quest in BOTW with all memories Link's options regarding the house would essentially both result in him getting the quest which I think is because it is implied to be his childhood home. In TOTK, we also know he living there as in Japanese; the maid does recognize Link and doesn't find him walking in the house strangely like she does in the international and USA versions of the game, not to mention each version of the game has carvings of Link and Zelda in wood beams and the stairs in hidden areas only seen with the Sheika camera each appearing to be drawn by two different individuals. So if Link owns the house and Zelda is said to live there, then the carvings are by Link or Zelda, respectively. This is also why Zelda has a lab in the well. To be honest, this implies that more characters probably recognize Link, but the translation made things more ambiguous than they had to be. It's interesting either way.
Regarding Zyle, since writing this video I have actually managed to encounter him while playing on two other profiles. One did have BOTW save data, while the other did not. So in that instance it did not impact him spawning in like it does with the stable master’s dialogue. Otherwise, I can’t speak for the Japanese version of the game, but I’d be interested in knowing more details about these discrepancies between translations. Clavia isn’t really a maid though, she’s the mayor’s wife
I personally think the game is constructed in a way that any amount of completion for the previous game beyond the main quests can be interpreted as canon or non-canon depending on the player. The dialogue for the Gerudo that you point out referencing the previous side quest with her is actually ambiguous enough that it doesn't necessarily imply the traveler she refers to is Link, someone else could have come along and helped her out if he hadn't. The Korok puzzles with boulders also don't necessarily imply Link's involvement as many of the puzzles before involved large rock slabs that the Koroks must have placed themselves, as there was no logical reason for them to have appeared there naturally before the Korok chose to hide there. Tarrey Town is the only definite evidence of side-quest completion I can recall from the game, but it could be argued that Link may have helped with its construction after defeating Ganon since he would still be travelling to all of the towns where he recruited the villagers during his time with Zelda.
You have successfully convinced me to do a 100% run of BotW and TotK...after I finish Skyward Sword! The attention to detail on things like Korok puzzles is crazy, and I'd love to see if I notice that stuff for myself by paying attention this time through! Would you recommend 100%ing Master Mode?
For Master Mode, it really depends on your taste for difficulty. It’s worth bearing in mind that nothing from master mode is carried over, so you’ll still only get your normal mode horses from botw brought over to TotK
@@CaptBurgerson Ugh! I love the story so much that the lack of carry over might be a dealbreaker. Hmm! I'll give it a whirl, though. Thanks for the wonderful videos!!!
Man I'm almost 1,000 hours into Tears of the Kingdom and I haven't come across Danton yet. I have seen Zyle a few times outside the New Serenne Stable. He seems to be there only when it's raining.
Now watching the follow up video, I would be interested if the dialouge is different in the japanese and how many people WOULD know Link in the japanese dialouge and if it´s the same or does change slightly in both when a BOTW save file is detected and the other case in which BOTW is not. I dunno how much it changes but as far as I am aware that dialouges get changed when translating stuff so that would be very intersting to see too
Alright, Masterworks gives confirmation that a 100% playthrough is canon and that Link did purchase the Hateno House but eventually gave it to Zelda to use as her base of operations. Strangely though, it also remarks that Link only purchased a new house while on his solo adventures.
I only 100% TotK but you inspired me to go back to my same save file for BotW that transferred to TotK I still have my horse and Champions Ballad Picture but now I want to 100% BotW!
Everyone debating this, and here I was suffering nobody remembered me because my BotW save file was in my friend's profile because i borrowed his digital copy :'c Since things I did in BotW didn't reach my TotK files, i don't think a 100% run has to be canon, many NPCs were made ambiguous for the same reason... so canon events being ambiguous too except for the main quests like Tarrey Town (love you Hudson, you remembered me c': ) makes a lot of sense to me. ... I want my horses back :c
Yeah I'd definitely pick having my horses transfered over everyone from every side quest remembering me. I got way more attached to those guys than I ever did those random NPCs I brought 10 Hylian Potatoes that one time.
100% completion should be considered canon in my opinion. After all, one could choose not to beat BotW but that doesn't mean the ending of the game becomes not canon in TotK. Something can't be rendered not canon just because you chose not to experience it. I think the only exception is in any case where they do read your save data and make changes accordingly, making both outcomes(i.e. a painting being present or absent) canon.
felt kinda off when i got this game at christmas because up until i got it i'd booted up my wiiU and remembered oh yeah i spent 434 hours on one playthrough of botw alone i must've talked to npc's visited towns and stayed at stables hundreds of times i really felt like link had become an intrical part of hyrule and yet i was not remembered not like link changed much he certainly didn't get any taller still his 3ft tall elf on the shelf ass self
and yet my daily sayge visits aren't remembered............. on a serious note, excellent addendum. i wouldn't say it's your fault at all that the message of ambiguity in the original video was lost in the comments. that's just the nature of forum; people argue for the sake of it. so don't blame yourself, it really was well done. take care!!!
Funny enough, I never update my 100% save in order to be able to refresh all my materials and I'm pretty sure I've spoken to every single NPC on that file... except for one: Zyle. I encountered him traveling the area near eastern Hebra on horseback and he didn't have his name over his head, meaning I hadn't spoken to him. This guy's strategy to find customers must be really bad if he happens to be the only one both of us missed. 🤣 I lean mostly in the camp that the intention is for whatever the player did in Breath of the Wild to be canon to Tears of the Kingdom, as it makes perfect sense for the sequel to a game where the only mandatory quest is the final boss. There are clear references to things like the Vah Ruta quest that can't really be argued that it's anything else, so we can probably say the Divine Beast quests are at least canon, but I think the rest is intentionally ambiguous so it can make sense based on your experience with Breath of the Wild. Even with Tarrey Town, if the player didn't do that quest in Breath of the Wild, it could technically be argued that the town would now have a completely different origin story that takes place after Ganon's defeat. It's not like Link was the one to convince Hudson to build it; he was gonna do it anyway, and Link just happened to be available to help at that time. Maybe this is a big source of the claim that the game feels disconnected from Breath of the Wild, because the game accounting for whatever playthrough someone had means it won't reflect someone's individual playthrough quite as well. I'm ok with it though cause like you said, not everyone is a completionist. The online Zelda community only reflects a small portion of the fanbase, and I think a lot of people fail to realize that.
Though the idea of having BotW save data carry over is cool, I played BotW on a friend's WiiU and then obviously TotK on a Switch I owned. Should I be robbed of those character interactions because my playthrough isn't linked? I understand Nintendo probably did it not to alienate newcomers but, in a self-proclaimed sequel, that seems a little strange.
@@KaitouKaiju It can't - but I'm not asking about horses. I'm asking about characters that I know from a game I played that the game doesn't know I played, so it's treating me like I never played the game when I did. My critique is why should the game act like it doesn't know I played the first game and give me alternative dialogue when it is supposed to be a sequel and should operate under the assumption that I have played BotW.
Honestly, I think it’s mostly the Japanese-> English translation issue. I played BOTW in English and TOTK in Japanese and was confused by the idea of people forgetting Link. Japanese leaves some things unsaid. Maybe the translation didn’t fully capture the vibe of people knowing Link where it did in Japanese.
I also think the not-knowing Link was partially done for the player, because logically Link would already know about all this because he lived in this would for at most 6(?) years but the player hasn't needs to be caught up to speed. Take Lurelin Village, Link was apparently with Zelda when she was there but the player needed to learn that information.
I found Zyle too, he is a merchant now. But he doesn't recognise Link (even though he scams Link into giving him one of his horses and then sells it😡). However, I don't remember where Zyle was when I found him.😅
Hey, there are more than 3 non returning npcs. There are 8 there's kass and the other two but there are the four champions and king rhoam. They were all forgotten and not seen.
I wasn’t counting them since at the end of BOTW we see their spirits move on to the afterlife in the post credit scene. So their absence is accounted for. I wouldn’t call them forgotten though lol -Zelda mentions Rhoam by name when talking to Sonia and Rauru. There’s also now a royal claymore placed at Rhoam’s grave which wasn’t there in BOTW, implying someone went there to pay respects to the late king. Might have been Zelda herself. -Daruk still has a statue in Goron City, and a stable master asks for a photo of the statue of the Daruk to paint. -Riju mentions in her diary that she wishes Urbosa was around to help with the situation and offer guidance. -Mipha has a brand new memorial park that the Zora built in her honour, Mipha court. There’s also a side quest with Seggin asking for a photo of the statue, as he reminisces of Mipha, and Sidon writes about her A LOT in his memoirs. -Revali is the only one with very little mention, but his bow has been passed down from Teba to Tulin, with the signature blue ribbon. (Teba can make a replica but it lacks the ribbon, marking Tulin’s as the authentic one) As for random NPCs, they don’t talk about the champions or Rhoam a lot because *they’ve all been dead for 100 years*. Mipha gets talked about the most out of all of them but that makes sense since the Zora have very long life spans. Nobody else would actually know them personally or have lived back when the champions were around.
I actually don’t care about most of the randoms and travelers remembering me. But the NPC whose husband I saved from fatal poisoning? The people whose whole family I saved from ruin? 90% of the yiga clan recognize me on sight despite not seeing me for like 7-8 years I find it hard to believe these people who I fully saved the life of don’t even somewhat remember me! Not even a little??? I surely remember them from the game I played 5 years ago and only spent 45minutes on their quest 😭
The thing is, this sequel could be so much more with writing. All those npc that vaguely remember Link are simply vague and inconsistent. I can see the appealing, but for me? Hell nah, vague explanation are the ultimate excuse for bad writing, because ALL media if you dig enough can be portrait as a masterpiece. Simply this ambiguity is the safest way to write a sequel without add some clever dialogue. Now I'm playing zelda MM and holy shit, the characters had some clever dialogue that i was flabbergasted when i read them.
Someone made a suggestion that people won't recognize Link until he wears his usual get up ie the Champion's tunic/leathers and the hair tie which I actually think is a really great idea.
9:10 it makes ZERO sense that link, who just woke up and was told to complete the shrines and regain his memories, would be a freaking speedrunner that pulled out the master sword with 3 hearts and killed ganon within the first hour of being awake, it just sounds very stupid, the king of hyrule basically teached link how to survive, and told him to complete the shrines to prepare to face Ganon, at the very least Link would have completed the shrines and the main quests, as well as tarry town, It wouldn't make any sense if link just woke up with all of his memories, BOTW was an adventure, a journey, both for the player AND Link, we learned that Link was someone completely new, he smiled, he enjoyed life once again, he stopped being as "stoic" as he was in the memories
Addendum to the Addendum: all the characters that claim to know Link are actually just REALLY nice and didn't want to make him think they didn't know him like "ohhh heyyyy youuu, it's you!" 🤭 Pretty crazy stuff I know
I feel like you can’t take both the “100% run is canon” stance and the “Link is a quiet introvert who wouldn’t be known be his Hateno neighbors” stance. The Link that 100%s the game is a Link that is constantly sticking his nose in other people’s business and running errands for them. He might not be the most sociable fella, but he would 100% be known around town as that kind of busybody.
Not to thrust you headlong into another consuming project, but… What if you went region by region, specifically comparing the evidences between games of whether or not a BoTW quest was completed? This might give us some definitive answer as to how much completion is actually canon…
@@CaptBurgerson A reply from the Burgerman himself; it’s an honor! And I totally understand; if anyone takes it on, it’ll be an all-consuming passion project. I’ve really enjoyed making my way through your content, especially the weekend livestreams of various Zelda games.
Absolutely, and it is definitely a topic I would like to explore more in the future! Just not sure when i will get around to it at this point haha And hey, thanks a ton for watching!
"May I ask, do you really remember me?" - I've got no point here, I just thought about this key line of dialogue from BotW and how it strangely it captures this whole idea
Apparently, Manny has a line of dialogue that basically says he hopes Link keeps the whole 'naive newcomer act' to a minimum, implying that Manny recognizes Link and that he's deliberately hiding his identity from the people of Hateno and possibly most of Hyrule.
The way that line is worded could be interpreted in a couple of ways, that he recognizes him, or even that he sees Link as a new person to the village but that link may use that for attention. Manny isn’t the most rational guy tho lol
@@CaptBurgerson True, but given Link isn’t the one to draw attention to himself, it does seem to suggest that Manny’s at least seen Link around and Link’s trying to throw off any suspicion of who he really is. However, I do agree that Nintendo does want to keep a level ambiguity on whether Link and Zelda are a couple. I know I ship Zelink but not everyone does, so Nintendo probably saw this and wanted some wiggle room if whether or not, it’s canon. If you ship Zelink, then great! If you don’t, then you can interpret as they don’t! Personally, I think it’s a bit silly since storywise everything points toward Zelink being canon, but knowing Nintendo and them wanting to sell to everyone, it makes sense.
@@CaptBurgerson Agree. I do find it interesting that in both Japanese and English he says "the house the princess was staying at" instead of calling it her house. And odd line to have Manny say if Zelda is supposed to be sole owner
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 Honestly. I don't get how anyone watched scenes like the werid flirty baiting of Puppet Zelda during "Crisis at Hyrule Castle", the scene of Zelda gushing about Link to Rauru and Sonia and them teasing her, that beautiful romantic ending "warm loving embrace", so on and so forth... and still somehow think it's not intended. Personally I just want Zelda to get the happy ending she deserves with Link after everything she's been through. It seems cruel to me to make her suffer even more and not even get to be with Link after all of that.
@@KairiKey989 I know, right. It honestly annoys me that they won't just say 'Yes, they're together,' and be done with this, will they, won't they bs. I honestly don't know who would have that much of a problem with it, and it's the natural conclusion to their arcs in the previous game.
Want to hear the weirdest contradiction in the debate of what is/isn't canon to ToTK? No? Too bad. So the champion's descendents/new sages all remember Link, and at least their dialogue implies that the Devine Beast quests were done by Link. Fairly straightforward, yeah? Wrong. Look at Hyrule Castle. _Look at Hyrule Castle and try to find the damage from when all four Divine Beasts launched their super-lasers into the castle to take Calamity Ganon_ (yeehaw) _to half health_. Those lasers went through the castle to an extent, but there's no visible damage. The castle, however, is still in a state of disrepair as it was in BoTW, so we know that if there was damage it wouldn't have been repaired yet.
Bolson’s dialogue feels like someone who you saw very recently, like you just saw him last week and not over a year ago. Which makes sense given link was in hateno village with Zelda as she worked on the school. That’s just my two cents though.
I can def see how it could be read that way. Like, he doesn't take the time to say "Oh Link, it's you!" because seeing Link is a common thing for him lol
@@CaptBurgerson This was my interpretation too. Especially with the use of "Boy!" (despite Link being an adult, most of the time you have to be pretty knowledgeable of the person for them to take that XD). Also, he knew Link would get the logs if I remember the conversation right. He just goes "I need logs" and isn't shocked at all when Link walks up with them XD. It's been a bit since I played and I can't find a transcript.
Personally I think the any % run in BotW is canon. The only game that I know of that does a save file check is the Mass Effect trilogy. I say that because if someone messes up with some dialogue and choices on mission has consequences in the next game.
I'm confident Link did all the shrines, at least. His maxed out shrine and hearts (which were deliberately set to 30 and aligned to be a 2 by 15 grid) indicate that.
My opinion for what is canon in BOTW is Link is doing a minimalist run. But after the ending zelda is rescued, Zelda (with Link in tow) roams around helping people in which she does a completionist run. Which is why the one who purchase the house in Hateno is Zelda not Link.
Honestly, probably not. The Gerudo woman and her husband mention a traveler bringing the guts needed for her husband's medicine. The three people we help in the canyon mention how Link helped them, though they need to remember. Tarrey Town exists, and the house is still standing, which wouldn't have happened if Link hadn't intervened, implying that Link did everything in the BotW. We also have the fact that Link literally never leaves Zelda's side.
I don't think so tbh. The house was right about to be torn down if Link didn't buy it. She also doesn't originally refer to the house as hers in her journal in Japanese, ownership is kept vague and it's all outsiders assuming it's her house. Another thing to keep in mind is that Link and Zelda travel around a lot. Edit: Also, Link was the only one with any money. Zelda only had a ruined prayer dress on her back left. She didn't have the means to purchase anything
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 You're right. Maybe Link does some of the side quest then. But i still think the majority of the side quest is done with Zelda after the main quest. Tarrey town can happens anytime between BotW and TotK. It can be founded after the main quest.
@@ironyoffate333 Maybe, but Rhondson and Hudson clearly recognize Link and the house is still standing which wouldn't have happened had Link not intervened.
@@KairiKey989 Time in video game is usually a bit weird. It doesn't matter if you buy the house in hour 1 or hour 100, it is always about to be torn down. It could also be the house is about to be torn down for the whole game and can even after main quest. As far as i know, we also don't how long does it take for Link to finish the main quest. About money, Zelda build the school in Hateno. I think she has money. She also owns a castle, although in bad shape. But there's probably still a lot of valuable stuff in the castle. Edit : Forgot to mention. I didn't know anything about the japanese version. So it could also be you're totally right.
If Link didn't lose his memories in BOTW, would have instantly gone to free the divine beasts and then save Zelda. Since he didn't have any previous memories, he didn't have the urgent need to save Zelda. This leads me to believe Link would get sidetracked while trying to recover his memories.
Nintendo was lazy and didnt want to alienate new fans or bother making THE SEQUEL TO BREATH OF THE WILD into an ACTUAL sequel. It's almost revisionist and insulting to anyone who cared about Breath of the Wild.
lol I disagree. All those little nods to botw in TotK show a lot of care was put into it. Let’s stop pushing the “lazy” rhetoric, because the talking point is in and of itself, lazy
@@CaptBurgersonnah he has a point. It was the safest route for writing a sequel. Definitely the safest way to write so, as you say, "you can interpret either way". Aaand to me that is lazy writing. We don't talk about some kind of philosophy or psychology of a character that ambiguity makes things more interesting, but a simple, "they know link or not?".
@@CaptBurgerson You present a hot button discussion topic, I present my opinion on the game, and this is your snarky response? Says a lot about you as a creator that you need to respond personally.
@@LilBrownieD what was I supposed to say? I feel very differently about the game clearly, but I doubt anything I have to say will change your mind. So I have a bit of a laugh instead. But really why make a snarky comment if you get upset at the most low effort reply lol You’d rather be ignored? I genuinely try to read every single comment, and reply to as many as I can. You’re the first person to say that is a bad thing
@@CaptBurgerson You were pretty rude, that's why I'm upset! I appreciate the research you did, but it actually reinforced my opinion because the characters' interactions with Link were all over the place and required so much overthinking for the audience to make any sense of it. I don't think that's the mark of a good sequel. You don't have to be dismissive to dissenters who still watch your content.
@LilBrownieD perhaps my sardonic response wasn’t warranted. You’re right. I’m sorry. But surely you can see how your comment reads from where I’m sitting right? Because it comes across so incredibly dismissive to say something like that in the comments of a video (or rather a follow up to a video) that was so many months in the making. I deal with so many comments a day that end up being increasingly more hostile whenever I talk TOTK. It feels like people who don’t like the game go out of their way to find content about it just so they can complain about how they don’t like it, and it wears thin real fast. So, after a certain point, yeah I guess I just snap and fire back here and there. Doesn’t mean it was deserved though. It doesn’t contribute anything of value for me to act that way
Wow. Did you watch the original video? Did you see how much research took place? I catalogued over 400 NPCs across two games, but missed 7. Sometimes things are bound to slip through the cracks. No assumptions were made, but I made a few mistakes, which I owned up to. Would you rather I double down and pretend I am perfect? Jesus chill, like what is your problem?
@@CaptBurgerson Lmao apparently me saying such a pretty valid criticism means "I have a problem"? You must not be able to handle opinions. You haven't changed much it seems. 😂 For the record, I am chill. Eating 🍕 and having a 🍺 after work, what about you?
@HipnotikHylian if you think this is what constitutes as “valid criticisms” then you need to gain some perspective of the world and how words effect people. You can present feedback in a much more constructive manner, but you always choose to conduct yourself as you did above. This ain’t about you having an opinion. It’s about your attitude. Hell, if this were a first time, I would probably ignore you, but you’re a repeat offender buddy, so yeah I’m gonna talk back. If you think I’m worked up though, I mean… check again which of us was the one screaming in all caps lmao
Nothing can justify Hetsu doesn’t recognize Link. We brought him his fcking korok seeds
Well, he clearly has memory problems of some kind, since he forgets where Korok Forest is multiple times but idk beyond that
Honestly I'm kinda willing to put him in the same McGuffin baby tier as the other Koroks.
@@CaptBurgerson It's also possible he forgot Link before, since in botw he mentions nobody being able to see him since a century ago. Albeit the only time Hetsu could have met pre calamity Link was when he pulled the sword as a child
I think he's just a silly senile old tree. Makes sense for his personality.
@@KairiKey989 capt showed the korok puzzles were canonically done so Hetsu doesn’t recognize the only dude who was able to see him? Since he has his maracas it means Link did fetch them for him. I’m sorry did Nintendo drop the ball on this one.
I think Tarry Town is a pretty good proof that a BOTW completionist run is canon
Here’s some more proof. The Koroks where you roll boulders in the holes, you now pull boulders out of the holes in those same spots
@@jamsstats1700 he says that towards the end of the video
True but Link likely hurried to Zelda at the same time.
Another point in favor of the 100% botw run being cannon to totk is Link having all heart containers is the intro sequence, meaning he probably did all botw shrines. He also has the master sword, which is also optional and is skipped in any% runs of botw
If I recall correctly, the master sword is also at its full strength in that intro. Meaning he did all of the master sword trials as well.
@@Rose-ef2cm if it was at its full strength it would be glowing all the time. It isn't glowing at first in the intro, and (spoilers ahead) in the memory where Link pulls it from the pedestal in Korok Forest before he and Zelda go investigate the Gloom beneath Hyrule Castle, it isn't glowing there, either
then wtf is the hero of the wild set doing in the depths?
@AudreyGalaxy wtf is the champion's tunic doing with a bargainer statue when he was wearing it?
The “Tunic of Memories” is almost certainly a replica made by the bargainers, and not Link’s original Champion’s Tunic. That one was likely modified by Link between games, and is what he was wearing in the prologue scene, which gets ruined by Gloom
From all the direct sequel games i've played (especially the yakuza series) 100% playthroughs were always canon, so i don't see why tears of the kingdom wouldn't be the same. So i do agree that the completionist run is indeed canon, even if the player themselves didn't do all side quests in the previous game.
Interesting
Imagine the hero of legend coming up to a random traveler and going HOLY SHIT IT'S DANTON
@@CaptBurgerson dang man you’re so thorough, great videos they were fun to watch!
Link starts with all hearts at the start of TOTK so he probably did do all of those.
I spent many hours not talking to any NPCs outside of towns because I feared they would be Yiga in disguise. 😂
Oh god.... if 100% is canon, then that means that canonically Link found all 900 of those seeds. The things that that poor man has been through.
only to be rewarded with a golden turd
I know I've read a lot of people were disappointed that TotK didn't really have many save data check things, but gosh am I kind of glad about that as someone who 100%ed BotW on Wii U, I'd hate to miss out on references just for playing the wrong version of that game :c
Wow, i did full story/quest (aside from trial and koroks) on the U and never considered that!
That makes a ton of sense!
Same (except for the 100%ing part) ((I got stressed out from the hero’s path data getting deleted))
Anyways,
I started on the WiiU and transferred my save data to a new account on the switch, so all I had in terms of TOTK was horses from my second play through and no Champion’s Ballad selfie.
I also found Zyle on my original playthrough! I specifically remembered him from Breath of the Wild so I took notice when I spotted him. So, can confirm, he's indeed still around.
And with a fancy hat no less!
The fashion trends sure did make it harder to recognize some characters.
Bolson should recognize us because he sat outside our fucking house until we were done building Tarrey Town
It takes a strong person to admit mistakes, in the form of a 15 min video
I'd agree that the 100% run of BotW is canon for TotK's story, if only because historically Nintendo has presented Link as a very dedicated hero. As a character there's this expectation that he somehow manages to do all these things and defeat Ganon and save the princess all in a reasonable amount of time (regardless of how many actual days it took us as players), because he's just that good.
It's very similar to how Samus is portrayed in Metroid Dread's cutscenes. Even if the player can't do all of that stuff, the heroes 100% can!
One day I hope to regain the trust that I broke
Im pretty sure the reason why the monk is missing from tears is just like all the other monks he vanished into dust after his trial was completed. Kinda hard to return after becoming ethereal
In terms of canon, I agree! I just included him because unlike the other monks we actually never see him vanish into dust. You can go back into the final trial after finishing the boss fight and he’ll have returned to his little seat and can even be challenged to a rematch
@@CaptBurgerson I didn't know that ya could return to him afterwards. I always thought it was a one time deal
Things like this is exactly why I love this channel and why I've been watching for several months now. The pure dedication is sooo apparent.
Even if you *met* everyone, it doesn't mean they will all remember you. Most of these meetings were in passing, after all. 😊
Absolutely! Which is a big talking point in the original video, most of the people who don’t recognize Link are Gerudo (who Link spoke to while disguised), Travelers, merchants/shopkeepers, etc.
The characters with whom Link had meaningful interactions with remember him
Also some shrine quests can be completed without even talking to some NPCs like the Flower Lady.
Even if they remember there doesn't have to be an indication. So when you go to your grocery store.
- Hey can I get 5 eggs?
- Sure 3 rupee.
- Here 5 rupee,
- Here is your change.
This too. I don't usually talk about something that happened 5+ years ago in casual conversation
Definitely call 100% the canon experience.
Every copy of ToTK is personalized :)
Like, despite all that Dev time, they _still_ had that Giant Hole of
"we _know_ that's not Zelda, but still let everyone chase the fake one".
If they couldn't think of ways to cover such an obvious situation,
I don't see them spending _that_ much time on BotW references either.
Unfortunately, it seems like they forgot she admired Zelda because her personality is different and she doesn't say anything about Zelda
9:37 I did not realise the boulders were in the same place, but that's awesome
"6th most watched"
It should be your first most watched, not just because this seems to be a reeaaaally common misconception, and not because you dont have videos I like alot more, but purely because that must have been a MASSIVE pain in the arse to do.
Considering how many years I’ve been putting out content, 6th most watched is definitely not a complaint from me really!
@@CaptBurgerson Yeah I actually take it back, I hope it becomes your least watched video, haha.
Path to 1mil, I'll be there.
@@elin111 And it's noted that the school was only recently built, and that Link and Zelda spent most of the time travelling throughout Hyrule.
The last video and this one were so awesome because it really was something that was a big deal and really struck a nerve for people when playing the game. Thanks for showing people the facts
Iiiinbnteresting about previous save data from botw I never thought of that!!
i'm on the side that bolson should remember you he built your house and he recruited him and all the people to move to tarry town. link is a founding father of tarry town and no one remembers him.
More save data checks and references would have been cool, EXCEPT I played BotW on Wii U, meaning that wouldn’t work!
I want to make a correction to a *critical* error you make in this video: you CLAIM that you were off in how you described Bolson last video and perform a 'mea culpa.'
THIS IS WRONG ... because you handled it pretty perfectly last time; the internet arguments are just going to internet argument.
In terms of canon, I lean towards the idea of Link NOT 100% BotW, but something more like 90%-99%, or even lower.
I dunno how much it changes but as far as I am aware that dialouges get changed when translating stuff so that would be very intersting to see too
I mean obviously bc our horses transfer over i didn't think it went for NPCs tooi
Everyone debating this, and here I was suffering nobody remembered me because my BotW save file was in my friend's profile because i borrowed his digital copy :'c
Since things I did in BotW didn't reach my TotK files, i don't think a 100% run has to be canon, many NPCs were made ambiguous for the same reason... so canon events being ambiguous too except for the main quests like Tarrey Town (love you Hudson, you remembered me c': ) makes a lot of sense to me.
...
I want my horses back :c
Yeah I'd definitely pick having my horses transfered over everyone from every side quest remembering me. I got way more attached to those guys than I ever did those random NPCs I brought 10 Hylian Potatoes that one time.
I beat BotW on Wii U and then played it again on Switch with Master Mode, so I STILL lost my horses.
How do you explain Link not rushing to rescue Zelda? It goes against his character.
felt kinda off when i got this game at christmas because up until i got it i'd booted up my wiiU and remembered oh yeah i spent 434 hours on one playthrough of botw alone i must've talked to npc's visited towns and stayed at stables hundreds of times i really felt like link had become an intrical part of hyrule and yet i was not remembered not like link changed much he certainly didn't get any taller still his 3ft tall elf on the shelf ass self
We know why the Zora mostly recognized Link some one probably talked about them every other day
and yet my daily sayge visits aren't remembered.............
on a serious note, excellent addendum. i wouldn't say it's your fault at all that the message of ambiguity in the original video was lost in the comments. that's just the nature of forum; people argue for the sake of it. so don't blame yourself, it really was well done. take care!!!
So many NPC's forgot Link...that when I got to Rito and saw Tulin's reaction to Link...it hit me like a Ton of Bricks!
im still sad that hateno a town i spent atleast 100 hours in i dont think anyone really recognizes link
I lean mostly in the camp that the intention is for whatever the player did in Breath of the Wild to be canon to Tears of the Kingdom, as it makes perfect sense for the sequel to a game where the only mandatory quest is the final boss.
How could the game remember horses from save data that doesn't exist?
However, I don't remember where Zyle was when I found him.😅
Well, I wouldn’t call it a scam since he does pay you for the horse, but yeah
Hey, there are more than 3 non returning npcs. There are 8 there's kass and the other two but there are the four champions and king rhoam. They were all forgotten and not seen.
I wasn’t counting them since at the end of BOTW we see their spirits move on to the afterlife in the post credit scene. So their absence is accounted for.
I wouldn’t call them forgotten though lol
-Zelda mentions Rhoam by name when talking to Sonia and Rauru.
(Teba can make a replica but it lacks the ribbon, marking Tulin’s as the authentic one)
As for random NPCs, they don’t talk about the champions or Rhoam a lot because *they’ve all been dead for 100 years*.
9:10 it makes ZERO sense that link, who just woke up and was told to complete the shrines and regain his memories, would be a freaking speedrunner that pulled out the master sword with 3 hearts and killed ganon within the first hour of being awake, it just sounds very stupid,
the king of hyrule basically teached link how to survive, and told him to complete the shrines to prepare to face Ganon, at the very least Link would have completed the shrines and the main quests, as well as tarry town,
It wouldn't make any sense if link just woke up with all of his memories, BOTW was an adventure, a journey, both for the player AND Link, we learned that Link was someone completely new, he smiled, he enjoyed life once again, he stopped being as "stoic" as he was in the memories
Not to thrust you headlong into another consuming project, but…
What if you went region by region, specifically comparing the evidences between games of whether or not a BoTW quest was completed?
This might give us some definitive answer as to how much completion is actually canon…
That may be something for a future project but for now I have a long list of other projects 🫠
Just not sure when i will get around to it at this point haha
And hey, thanks a ton for watching!
🧑🎤They didn’t forget / they never met / because 👩🎤TOTK AIN’T SET IN THE SAME TIMESTREAM 👨🎤
A kind stranger did help that Gerudo's husband, that stranger just wasn't Link... unless it was.
This leads me to believe Link would get sidetracked while trying to recover his memories.
just shows a Zelda game is also a narrative and TotK falls short ..
There's no justification for this halfway sequel.
LOL okay 👍
@@CaptBurgerson You present a hot button discussion topic, I present my opinion on the game, and this is your snarky response? Says a lot about you as a creator that you need to respond personally.

But really why make a snarky comment if you get upset at the most low effort reply lol
You’d rather be ignored?
It doesn’t contribute anything of value for me to act that way
It's almost as if......
YOU SHOULD'VE DONE BETTER RESEARCH AND NOT MADE ASSUMPTIONS
For the record, I am chill.
If you think I’m worked up though, I mean… check again which of us was the one screaming in all caps lmao
you keep coming back to his channel despite you not liking him. think you might have something for him, just sayin
