For me it was kind of the opposite, thought Peter was a lot closer BUT that’s not the point. Their makeup artist took Lloyd not looking remotely like Adam Savage and managed to practically remake his face into something close. While still looking like a human being and not some kind of clown. Kind of more impressive, serious props to the team. And yeah, it is hard to appreciate just how good Lloyd and Peter are at impressions because they do so many. They are shockingly talented at that. And for that matter in this one how Peter managed his get his voice close to Jamie’s deep voice range is nuts.

8 years and this is still probably my favorite beat in the entire series. it sounds so good, but as plenty of people have pointed out, it also switches from synths for the ghostbusters verses to slide guitars for the mythbusters verses. it *nails* the sound of both of them, it could’ve just come out of the soundtrack for each.

Bruh how does Lloyd look like every single character? Shout out to the make up artist!
@hell wolf Adam Savage
Makeup is definitely a big part of it but so is Lloyd's acting, he matches the facial expressions and mannerisms of his characters so well
For me it was kind of the opposite, thought Peter was a lot closer BUT that’s not the point. Look how good both of them nailed Young Elvis and Grown-up Michael Jackson through physical language. And for that matter in this one how Peter managed his get his voice close to Jamie’s deep voice range is nuts.
@@jsloanhpi totally agreed. some crazy talent here
I literally can't see Peter in that costume. He looks nothing like himself anymore, it's actually terrifying.

Charles Darwin vs Ash Ketchum is much better. Ash is more well known.
As for Professor X, he is better against Malcolm X. They are both leaders with Xs at the end of their names who led groups hated by many people and were segregated
I can’t say how many times I’ve watched this, but I just realized that the music is mostly synth based for the Ghostbusters and brings in that iconic slide guitar for the Mythbusters. Nice touch
Im really curious about what the mythbusters think of this video
KarRuptAssassin Adam Savage posted this on Twitter: twitter.com/donttrythis/status/531883784367775744

They've all tweeted a response, except Tori. 😆
Austin Smith Why does everyone I've seen spell Tory's name "Tori"?
Shiina Because his whole name is 'Salvatore', which the abbreviation is 'Tori' (Salvatore > Tore > Tori)
I literally cannot decide who did the best in this one. That doesn't happen often.
Tyler Cunningham Dude, it's easy. Stay Puft.
Really, I think the Mythbusters had a little bit better rhymes. I really liked their part, and they're right, the Ghostbusters were lame.
Tyler Cunningham "That's enough from the walrus and Dickless the Clown" was all I needed.
Kat Minor
I kinda liked
"Tell 'em 'bout the twinkie."
"Like your show? It's all fluff and filler. I'll kick your Hiney-man; I'm a Savage killer."
Tyler Cunningham ah hell I've listened to this quite a lot and I didn't even catch those name disses. Even better line now that I know
Zach Sherwin does a damn near perfect impression of Egon
Dude has range.
he looks almost exactly like harold ramis in this too ! he's talented as shit
Id go so far as to say Zach pretty much kills most of his stuff, His Rap battles are for some reason always ranked in the highest for me. The one thats my favorite without him is Roosevelt V Churchill. But Otherwise Zach is pretty perfect at capturing his target. Stephen King being one of my most favorite/accurate ones
Even though he has plenty of other raps I was a bit disappointed he was the slow melancholy sounding one. It was on point but he’s such a good rapper
@@michaelknowlton714 Zach is by far their best member, probably helps he writes most of the raps so he can nail the flow in his own head easier.
For a split-second, right after "Say the first thing that pops into your mind", you can see the Ghostbusters wincing, because thats how the Stay Pufy marshmallow ghost was made
I thought everyone was just wincing at how dumb Tory is, but you're right, it's been too long since I watched ghostbusters.

With a performance like that, you’d think Jamie and Adam actually enjoyed each other‘s company
I was surprised when I first learned about their relationship. In all the years they worked together, they never once visited each other's home or had dinner together. I find that such a shame. :(
Adam has set straight the rumors that they didn't like each other. They really respect each other and worked closely, they just never became close "Friends." There's no animosity between them

BlueSteel nah puff beat all
The line "you are poor scientists" comes from the Dean who kicked the Ghostbusters off campus at the start of the movie... that's why "it's confirmed". Terrific lyrics!
Sadly, you treated that as a final uppercut when it doesn't have any other disses that actually make it needed. I already explained multiple times their two main disses "Positrons don't react like that" and "Walter Peck was right, that's some shady shit" were both largely flawed

I can’t decide on a masterpiece, they’ve had so many incredible ones and their worst ones are honestly just ok, there’s not a truly bad one. This one, Joker v Pennywise, Bonnie/Clyde v Romeo and Juliet, the Russians, James Bond v Austin Powers and the film directors are top contenders for masterpieces imo
