Opel Vectra C -02 wont start, errors and blinking lights

- Opel Vectra C 2002 won't start when getting cold. When turning ignition it just clicks and panel beeps with information that power stearing is broken.
The ABS sensor starts blinking and beeping, then the fuel indicator starts blinking and the fuel meter wakes up to indiciate the correct fuel level (50% full).
Engine light is turned on with error P0606, indicating that there is a "PCM / ECM Processor Fault"
But when waiting for a few minutes the power stearing lights is turned off and the car starts. This was the second day this happened, when started once the problem is gone.
Any takers on a solution to this problem?
I think I'm going to trade my car for a horse! Cheap on fuel,no ABS,no fault codes no fucking instrument cluster job done!
Had the same problem with my 2006 vectra..ended up being the power steering pump..theres an ECU on that, which is know to give problems, also check the fuse board under the bonnet had to change that too due to a short on the board..
It's the alternator ! I had the same problem and same lights and it couldn't start only clicks . The alternator was not charging the battery meaning that you don't have any power for the steering , ABS and etc. that's why the light's are blinking and it won't start :)
Bogey Stalker I know your comment is 2yrs old but iv the exact same issue as video and it’s not an alternator issue as the battery is new and when checked with a meter is fully charged..
Seems it’s an ecu issue which seems common

yes i have the same issue and i have to wait few minutes to start the engine again . the problem is that sometimes my car automatically stoped on the way so what is the problem my bro ?
I have the same problem. The gauges sometimes just switch off whilst I am driving and they will only switch on randomly after numerous attempts to start the car.
Hello, the same problem, the arrows on the ignition key do not react, ESP is lit and the error on EGUR. As well as communication errors with the side of the ecm. Please tell me what the problem is.

I have 2004 vectra and I have that same problem. and saltines stop wen I driving and cruise control not working.did you finde water was wrong
its look like your battery is dead.did u try jump start

+Nasty Marco I actually sold the car with the information that this has happened.
But in general the first tip I get is to change CIM.
I also removed the connector to the ECU on the engine block for it to move and get better connection. Never had any problems after that. Might have been the solution. Or maybe not... But try that and see if that makes things better.
I have no check engine light on when ignition switch on and not start . So the same problem with you ,

Sorry, jag är inte övertygad att verkstäder besitter någon helande kraft.
De ser samma symptom som jag ser, de ser samma felkod som jag ser. De googlar sämre än jag gör. De tar även bra betalt att googla sämre än mig.
Sedan baserat på gissningar, byter de något som i deras ögon är låtsaspengar och hoppas det löser sig. Delen i fråga kommer från deras eget lager som har dubbelt så dyrt pris som om jag skulle beställa den själv på nätet. För det har visat sig att man skulle kunna tro att verkstaden har rabatter på reservdelar från deras egen kedja. Men nej, priset de betalar och jag är extrakt samma som om jag beställer delen på deras hemsida.
Skulle nu inte denna första del återgärda symtomen så repetera stegen ovan. Och så fortsätter det medans deras tid tickar på och nya delar stoppas in som fungerar lika bra som de delar de plockade ut.
Okej, anser du dig ha kunskapen att mecka i en modern bil står det givetvis dig fritt att ge dig i kast med det.
Du har uppenbarligen verktyg för att läsa av bilens koder, nu gäller bara att tolka symtomen, beställa hem rätt delar och sedan ägna x antal timmar till att försöka sätta in den på rätt plats.
Men du är i läget att
1: Bilen vägrar starta, tändningen vill inte alls samtidigt som varningslampor lyser och du får felkod från bilen.
2: Efter x antal försök startar bilen och rullar utan något knot.
Fråga från en som inte kan bilar.
1. Är problemet relaterat till minusgrader?
2: motorvärmare eller garage några timmar?
fast ett par minusgrader borde inte vara ett problem för en bil.

The current problem is that the engine stalls all the time. The me mechanics thinks it's the ECU.
