Ok so all of your birds just fly free and stay nearby? That it flipping amazing!!! That is the closest I’ve ever been to a Kookaburra!!! 😍 As a veterinary Technician seeing many injured birds over the years, my heart is so full 💞!! You are a good human Julie!! And WOW!! That is just beautiful !!! Perfect pink color too!! Great job!! ❤️❤️❤️ ** side note; that small pocket of air in your decor bag will not allow your paste to go all the way down until you cut it; Or you can stick a pin in it to release that trapped air before cutting. (I used to decorate cakes ☺️)
Truthfully I love both for the differences. The softer, translucent, guaze edge is very relaxing. And the thicker, lightly scalloped edge is very cheerful. (I love the effects in my garden as well, so that may be it. Lol!)
Ooh. I said when I saw the Kookaburra too. How lovely. I have two Maggie’s visit me and my Griffon Louis who never barks at any of the birds. The other day I saw a very chubby kangaroo 🦘 too. A crow also pops by and when I give cubed cafe fruit loaf toast he takes a piece and dips it into a bowl of clean water before he would put it onto the ground and proceed to neatly eat it. I was very surprised to see it so I filmed him or her! Very smart as the loaf was given to me by another resident in the village and being gluten intolerant the birds score. Any uneaten dog food hard or soft also goes to the birds. I only moved here in July so I feel extremely privileged for these wild birds to eat from my hand and like you just near them. I love it. With Covid19 being very strict here in Victoria I appreciate being trusted by them all.
Before I respond to what you’re making, I have to comment on your backyard and all the birds. Your backyard is divine! You have a really nice area for hosting friends or just hanging with a glass wine watching the sunset. I love birds and you have beautiful ones. Thank you for sharing. I could have watched them a whole lot longer. Wow 🥰
Julie your flowers are all unique and beautiful in it’s own way! Like in a real life they are all different! So far my favorite is your last blue one, but it’s my own preference because I like more wispy one! And it’s a good idea to make them from circles, I would definitely try to do it this way.
I would love to live where you are. It’s beautiful and just flowing with wildlife. Love the cockatoos! I absolutely love this work of art!! The petals are so pretty and perfect. Another fantastic coaster! Keep them coming. 💖🤍💖🤍💖🤍
I am so jealous of all of the beautiful birds! And the cute little doggies 🤗 I really enjoy your videos! They are so detailed and I’ve learned so much from you! 🤩
Hey Julie if you dont want the white to cover your center so much, before you start the petals/rings, draw a ring around your middle. It helps hold back the movement. When you pull your skewer thru the resin stop at the outer edge of the inner most ring. Love these, both this and the blue one.
I love your work. I love your backyard and all your birds and puppies! I am like Janis Tabor Waters, a few longer backyard videos would make many of us happy!!!!!
Hi Julie!! 👋👩🦳️👋 This is absolutely gorgeous, outrageously stunning, unbelievably beautiful!! The thicker lines, a little farther apart (I think), worked out so good!! Excellent thought that turned out so well. 👍🌸🌟🌸👍 You may remember me, I always have thoughts while watching you, of other things you might try. I never mean for them to detract from the beauty I see in your pieces, they are just ideas. So here goes: *Drag little wisps of the center glitter outward, maybe a couple of centimeters.... *Before they bloom, offset your drags in the petals, so it's not a single line from the outer edge in. So, maybe all the white petals line up, and at the peak of the white petals, all the lines of the pink petals line up. I just don't know if there would be enough time, I suppose it would depend on how many circles you made. *If you don't have much space to make a complete circle at the outer edge, just make some deliberate peek-a-boo petals rather than scrunching or squeezing that last outer edge. Sorry for going on for so long Julie, I just had all these ideas that I wanted to share with you, I hope you read them...? I love your artwork and the fact that rather than admitting defeat, you learn from what you do and go to better outcomes. 💛❤️️🧡 God bless Julie and lots of love!! 🙏🥰️🙋🥰️🙏
its beautiful Julie! I have a tip for the off center thing, you could draw a + or a bullseye type shape on the paper below to help with centering, you'd be able to see through the white molds for sure but with the denser ones, I think the lines and/or circles you'd see outside your mold might help you find your symmetry and make you closer to center.
Beautiful! I hope your coughing is not caused by the resin. I have heard horror stories about the damage resin can do, even the non smelling kind. Please be careful and be safe.
I like that the petals layer like that, id love to see if you could make a gradient effect but using white on the biggest layer and then a light pink or whatever color, and then a slightly darker shade, and so on until the middle was a dark maroon or something!
Another fabulous flower!!🌸I love watching your videos 💗I’m new too resin too I just wish I could do it as well as you!! You inspire me to keep trying!!🤩
Great job, I am not a good piper with the petals, so maybe the circles will work better for me. I think the blue one is my favorite so far. I miss scruffy, did he move on??
Beauty as always, and I love the birds too. You mentioned how you like the leaf for the center rather than glitter since it stays suspended better. I wonder if you've ever tried mylar flakes. They are very light, and worth a try, because they come in so many colors. Just a suggestion for future buys. You are so wonderful! A couple of additional thoughts; Have you considered cutting the wide end of your pastry bags before you fill them? That way you won't get resin on your scissors, or forget to trim them (keep them from dragging) I believe the armor art pigments are supposed to be quite good for the "lacing" effect for bubbles in waves in beach scenes. The holes you're seeing may well be that "lacing" effect. And, I hear you clearing your throat more these days. I'm worried about your exposure to resin fumes, even if you can't smell them, they are dangerous. And I know you're extra-sensitive to resin, so maybe consider using a mask-at least while heating/blowing your resin? I don't want to sound preachy. That's just the nurse in me.
Arlene Dyne Francien another bird loving Aussie here, they are wild and we Aussies are not allowed to keep them as pets. These birds are very clever and tend to come at the same time everyday. I wouldn’t be surprised that they go from one good person to the next. They know where their bread is buttered!
Francien Daniels-Webb the cockatoos (I think that’s what she said they are) are wild?! Wow! Here in the states, at least in my state, they’re only in pet stores! That’s just so cool to me that y’all have them wild!
What is the white. I did a flower today I did not have white alcohol ink an put in castin an some 91% alcohol . And it worked. I will post some to you facebook when finished. Happy times hey girl ❣❣❣
You should use big tweezers to pick up the gold leaf.... or the kind you see at the doctors office... not sure what those are called...sure you do...anyway...this is beautiful as always
Are those your birds? How do they stay in your garden? They look amazing. Also loving your work, quick question how do you put leafs into resin? Do you have to seal them if so what with? X
Try dragging with your popsicle stick so the petals are farther apart. Although this is lovely as is. Please IM me, I really want to send you a present. 😉
I really enjoy your videos but I don think that you should be demonstrating the correct ppe. You have a huge following and are teaching people that they don't need ppe. This turned out really pretty
Yay! That’s awesome! Loved seeing birds again and the puppies running in yard!
This beautiful coaster worked perfectly. Beautiful petals, no blobs, gorgeous middle. I love it!
Woohoo!! You did it!!! Beautiful!!!

Congratulations it worked love it. I love all your art. Have a good day and keep pouring especially coasters.
Both blue and pink are spectacular but I like the blue one best! Thanks for keeping trying you found the best combination.
It’s so nice seeing all your birds and your lovely little babies running about the garden! The resin work is great too!! In fact it’s fantastic!
I like this one the best. No globs, it is perfect. I think this new way is the best. edit: I love listening to the birds, very nice sound.
You can see the 3 dimensional petals beautifully here, congratulations 🥳 you should be very proud of yourself.
Wow. That is the best one I've seen from any resin artist.
Jumping for joy! Breathtaking!
Loved seeing your birds and puppies my granddaughter loved watching too. She loves to watch your videos.
Perfecto!!! Fixing the holes did not hurt it a bit. Loved it. Can’t wait to see it together in a cupcake stand.
I love the pink flower. Absolutely gorgeous. The blue is also very pretty - just different. Can't wait till you make the cupcake stand.

Julie your flowers are all unique and beautiful in it’s own way! Like in a real life they are all different! So far my favorite is your last blue one, but it’s my own preference because I like more wispy one! And it’s a good idea to make them from circles, I would definitely try to do it this way.
Gorgeous, I really like both the blue and pink, beautiful job!
I love birds, I am just a little jealous! The piece is wonderful. I love the technique, I can decide which one I like the best.

I am so jealous of all of the beautiful birds! And the cute little doggies 🤗
I really enjoy your videos! They are so detailed and I’ve learned so much from you! 🤩
This reminds me of the first pink one I loved. Even though you piped that one in a different shape. I like watching you get there. 🌷
I have not seen anything like this!!! Beautiful!

Love the birds! Are they pets or wild? It is so pleasant to watch the birds flying about and eating! I also love ALL the 3D flower tutorials!
I can not wait to try this so beautiful wow thank you for sharing
Brilliant, both of them in 2 different ways.
That really is the best!! Such a pretty pink!

Such a steady hand my lines would be wiggly
Amazing 👏!
Amazing....love it
Thats really pretty, think you've got the technique sorted now
Did scruffy ever come back at all?
nailed it!
Really gorgeous. Are those birds yours, or are they wild and come to you cause you feed them
Arlene Dyne Francien another bird loving Aussie here, they are wild and we Aussies are not allowed to keep them as pets. These birds are very clever and tend to come at the same time everyday. Hi, instead of using the hot air gun , can I use the hair dryer to do this project ????
Are those wild cockatoo 's.. how pretty
Yes
What is the white. I did a flower today I did not have white alcohol ink an put in castin an some 91% alcohol . And it worked. I will post some to you facebook when finished. Happy times hey girl ❣❣❣
What fun!
I use a one to one resin. Do I need to do a different ratio of part A to Part B for making these flowers?
You should use big tweezers to pick up the gold leaf.... or the kind you see at the doctors office... not sure what those are called...sure you do...anyway...this is beautiful as always
Are those your birds? How do they stay in your garden? They look amazing. Also loving your work, quick question how do you put leafs into resin? Do you have to seal them if so what with? X
What brand Of white did you use ?? I think i missed that part and i cant see your bottles
Love 👍💛💙💜💖
awesome
Question. Why alcohol ink and paste ?
Do you give away any art to subscribers?!
i was going to say u got rabbits till they got closer lol hope snakes dont come say hi to lol
The little holes are bubbles
Como se llama la pasta blanca por favor?Gracias
Try dragging with your popsicle stick so the petals are farther apart. Although this is lovely as is. Please IM me, I really want to send you a present. 😉
The holes look like tiny black cells from this side of the camera 🤓
Had no clue that kookaburra birds ate meat.. 😳
💖
I really enjoy your videos but I don think that you should be demonstrating the correct ppe. You have a huge following and are teaching people that they don't need ppe.
This turned out really pretty
So stunning, another amazing creation.. Cant wait to try this technique, u make it look so easy.. xx
