Technically people can't since Frostbite is EAs own engine and it isn't publicly available, so it's impossible for fans to use it for their own trailers/films. With that said, there are a few channels such as Loacher Films (and more recently, Cinematic Captures) who use assets from Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Quixel Megascans to make animations in Unreal Engine 4. They're worth checking out. There is a bit of a visual difference between the fan made stuff vs official Frostbite stuff, probably due to things like post-processing and the way the two engines render things. They are still very high quality though, and I think you'll like them. Given that Star Wars Squadrons is also made in Frostbite, I imagine they may make content for it. Would be really cool.
I'd rather be doing what we did in the TIE Fighter game - less hunting Rebels and more dealing with pirates, traitors, pirates, and maybe the occasional Rebel raid. Then going back to hunting traitors. In a Missile Boat.
It’s Disney so they probably will cause you can’t play as a character that is “bad”, if he doesn’t turn halfway through the story, he will have a redemption moment in the final act
It’s gonna be two characters on either side of the conflict, so don’t worry, you’ll probably get your fill of both Rebels and Empire without any defections going on

Star Wars Squadrons was a lot of fun, highly underrated, I enjoyed the single player campaign, the graphics were amazing, I feel it came right about the same time as New Generation consoles were coming out as a result many people overlooked it, still I would recommend it to any Star Wars fan 👏

I still think Squadrons was a really good game in the sense that it did well at being what it wanted to be. It wanted to be a Star Wars fighter pilot simulator, and it did that well. The problem was that not enough people wanted a Star Wars fighter pilot simulator.

Night shade my point is people keep supporting these games that launch half cocked. Instead of judging a game for it’s actual performance they judge it by the marketing concept. Tell me when a restaurant has gotten good feedback from a half cooked and under seasoned dish because it looked good when it was served? Would you ever say “It’s all good, I can take this home and fix it later on”, because that’s what gamers basically have to put up with when waiting on the post launch patches to make the game what it was actually advertised to be...I’m just not one to settle for low standards and excuses. They should save the hype for when it’s deserved instead of just treating us like fools that will buy any old “chocolate covered shit”. They’re gonna take your preorder money and move on to the next project, giving mediocre attention to the issues the community wants addressed..until people get tired of complaining and give up on the game but by that point they’ve already been paid regardless of whether they actually delivered a decent product. The only way to force them to maintain proper game integrity is to only pay for a finished product, they aren’t starved for money they’re just being allowed to be greedy by us and I’m not gonna support that.
This was a great game. Playing the campaign in VR is insane. Being able to look behind you and around, I have no words. Fantastic. Way better than the VR Missions you get in Ace Combat 7

Anime Waifu just a little bit more maneuverable, but their armor sucked, and they had no shields or hyperdrive, actually the TIES still couldn't really keep up with the X-wings which is why the TIE Interceptor was introduced, but it was later overdone by the A-wing. But OP is right I think it was the Tarkin Doctrine that focused on heavy capital ships that were very effective against other capital ships, and the TIEs were supposed to be cheap and mass produced to overwhelm the enemies by numbers. The First Order fixed this though by adding shields to the TIEs and more powerful guns and better engines, Special Forces TIEs even had hyperdrives. Sorry for the essay

Star Wars Squadrons was a lot of fun, highly underrated, I enjoyed the single player campaign, the graphics were amazing, I feel it came right about the same time as New Generation consoles were coming out as a result many people overlooked it, still I would recommend it to any Star Wars fan 👏

Calling it now: TIE pilot guy is gonna start questioning the Empire part way through the campaign, defect to the rebels, and fall in love with X-wing pilot lady because they're both young and attractive. This is assuming the game includes a story mode, I haven't seen anything besides this.

I still think Squadrons was a really good game in the sense that it did well at being what it wanted to be. It wanted to be a Star Wars fighter pilot simulator, and it did that well. The problem was that not enough people wanted a Star Wars fighter pilot simulator.

Night shade my point is people keep supporting these games that launch half cocked. Instead of judging a game for it’s actual performance they judge it by the marketing concept. Tell me when a restaurant has gotten good feedback from a half cooked and under seasoned dish because it looked good when it was served? Would you ever say “It’s all good, I can take this home and fix it later on”, because that’s what gamers basically have to put up with when waiting on the post launch patches to make the game what it was actually advertised to be...I’m just not one to settle for low standards and excuses. They should save the hype for when it’s deserved instead of just treating us like fools that will buy any old “chocolate covered shit”. They’re gonna take your preorder money and move on to the next project, giving mediocre attention to the issues the community wants addressed..until people get tired of complaining and give up on the game but by that point they’ve already been paid regardless of whether they actually delivered a decent product. The only way to force them to maintain proper game integrity is to only pay for a finished product, they aren’t starved for money they’re just being allowed to be greedy by us and I’m not gonna support that.
This was a great game. Playing the campaign in VR is insane. Being able to look behind you and around, I have no words. Fantastic. Way better than the VR Missions you get in Ace Combat 7

I don’t know man TIE’s are definently more maneuverable then X-Wings

Anime Waifu just a little bit more maneuverable, but their armor sucked, and they had no shields or hyperdrive, actually the TIES still couldn't really keep up with the X-wings which is why the TIE Interceptor was introduced, but it was later overdone by the A-wing.
But OP is right I think it was the Tarkin Doctrine that focused on heavy capital ships that were very effective against other capital ships, and the TIEs were supposed to be cheap and mass produced to overwhelm the enemies by numbers. The First Order fixed this though by adding shields to the TIEs and more powerful guns and better engines, Special Forces TIEs even had hyperdrives. Sorry for the essay
