Haha, that Traffic is really good. I have sat in the traffic for over an hour and a half from Sharjah to Dubai to get to Dubai Airport. With low traffic, I could do the journey in maybe just over 20 minutes.
Once I took a taxi from Jumeirah Dubai to Sharjah to watch a cricket match - day night T20. Massive jam near Dubai Airport - eventually gave up and driver dropped us off at Dubai Airport. No cricket that day. Its the day I posted a video here on Dubai monorail from airport. Mostly traffic ok there though...

Since your room faced Sheikh Zayed Road, was the level of traffic noise acceptable, i.e., was the sound-proofing OK? Otherwise, the property is in a great location!
Sound proofing fine, though its actually nice to hear the traffic - the windows open...
How much for room?? And can i go to the rooftop without money?
Shangri La Dubai not expensive - can gets rooms usd 250 a night.

fathan, I like your comments. though to actually see the burj khalifa - cannot from inside right - though the fountain show, dubai's most popular attraction, can see from hotel, and i'm sure very nice...

Shangri La is actually very reasonably priced compared to some of the neighbouring hotels...
@@MrKesavaraj in Dubai it’s pretty cheap I stayed in London, £560 for one night and got the smallest room decent room enjoyed the mini bar and small gym. Is the Dubai one as good because I’ve stayed in the raffles didn’t really do me justice I need a good place I can rely on.
Shangri La Shard London is brilliant - amazing views. Dubai Shangri La nowhere near as good, basically like an airport hotel the Dubai one
