Tim, we visited, the Atlantis on the day of the huge storm on April 16th. I think the musty smells are due to the fact rain water was pouring through every wall in reception and the floor of the shopping area and aquarium was flooded. What date did you visit?
The correct way to use a hammock is the laying in centre with arms to the side where you originally put your head & feet.....so im told. It does feel more comfortable that way. Great videos , interesting and informative 👍 Thank you 👏

Great review as always Tim! I avoid staying in hotels this large; I much prefer smaller luxury or boutique hotels. I think the hotel all looks a little bit cheap and tacky, but I'm sure the Atlantis is great fun especially if you're travelling as a family. I can definitely see the appeal for this kind of resort, but for me the hotel gives off all inclusive cruise liner vibes which is just not my cup of tea. Each to their own though!
Great video as always, thank you Tim! For showing me places I'll probably never get to myself, you do a fantastic job. As for the shower door, well... if you've got 6 people in there, at least 2 can force the door open, so no worries!
the amount that they spent on the place and it leaks when it rains! Wow! I have to ask, do you never feel self conscious walking around talking to the camera? You do a great job, love the videos!

Hi Tim , well you certainly take us to the best places Tim , so much to see and do ....... although I did feel as you walked through the food area it reminded me of a giant shopping mal???? Loved the aquarium ❤ and thought the price was reasonable for what you got . Shame about the rain ..... just like home in the uk never ending. Thanks Tim great video.
Another corker of a video, Tim! You always visit really cool places and no doubt inspire many thousands of people to check them out too. I was never really sure if Dubai was my cup of tea but I'm really interested to give it a go now.
I've said it b4 & I,ll say again tim you are the best you tuber and brilliant at what you do. Worth everything you earn on you tube n more, it's a pleasure to send to you. Wonderful with the camera you have the right attitude and persona to work with and around ppl, gaby is very very fortunate. But a lovely family never the less. 😊
The hotel looked like a posh shopping mall and I can't stand malls so that would put me off but the swimming pool areas looked lovely. I like old buildings as it enriches the soul so not sure what Dubai would offer me apart from the weather. I was surprised at the hotel room as I would have thought attention to detail would be high here but the carpets, shower door, would be a big annoyance at that money. But when you think back about when these were built and who built them and the timescales they were given it's not surprising some things aren't perfect.
I agree about the shopping mall vibe, takes away the charm but makes oodles of money...the building itself looks beautiful from a distance, but the leaking interior is dangerous (risk of slipping) etc. Not acceptable. Also would that outdoor'club' area always have that loud music blaring during the day i wonder ? Love Tim's careful, fascinating videos.
Another brilliant review around an amazing hotel. The decor and size of it was beautiful. I loved the fact you can see the aquarium and your suite looked amazing.

Great video as always, thank you Tim! For showing me places I'll probably never get to myself, you do a fantastic job. As for the shower door, well... if you've got 6 people in there, at least 2 can force the door open, so no worries!
lol Thank you
Love being able to see all the fish in the underwater room! Much love
the amount that they spent on the place and it leaks when it rains! Wow! I have to ask, do you never feel self conscious walking around talking to the camera? You do a great job, love the videos!
We love Atlantis in Dubai, with the only downside being that when you holiday elsewhere afterwards you are always disappointed 😏
Ps. I have a quick video tour of the 10k per night Grand Atlantis suite 🙈
I just zoomed in and read your AMAZING socks! ❤🎉😂
Gabby is the BEST! I love when Gabby and Mr. Thumbs come along! ❤
You have an amazing family Tim! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!🎉😊
tim stuck in the shower is pretty funny lol. Good thing there were not another 5 people in there with him LOL!
I'm so glad I get to travel with you and see all these amazing hotels. I would've liked to see them in person, but since I can't, I'll go along with you! Thank you for making these wonderful videos! You have such a nice, upbeat personality... you always make me smile!
LOL! Love the socks, Gaby! 😆
Ive been binging your videos!! never been into travel vids but yours are addictive 😁 From Cape Town. May your channel grow even more!
What amazing hotel. Those desserts look lovely. Happy Easter and to your family.
It looks like Stromberg's gaff in The Spy Who Loved Me when you see the fish 😀
Thank you to show us this hotel. The finishes are chaotic .. Well the interior itself is somehow chaotic. However thank you.
Looks beautiful there ❤
Another corker of a video, Tim! You always visit really cool places and no doubt inspire many thousands of people to check them out too. I was never really sure if Dubai was my cup of tea but I'm really interested to give it a go now.
What an amazing hotel great video again Tim and not as expensive as we thought well done take care xx
Thanks so much
What is it with hotels having musty smelling hotel rooms??? One of my favorite hotels where I live sometimes has a musty smell and it's fairly new.
As always Tim what an Awesome video. I loved the underwater theme.
Thanks for sharing your visit the hotel looked nice your suite and especially outside nice but not for me far too big.
Another brilliant review around an amazing hotel. The decor and size of it was beautiful. I loved the fact you can see the aquarium and your suite looked amazing.
Thankyou once again tim for sharing this. It looked lovely but not in my budget but i did enjoy seeing inside this hotel. I dont think i would like the fish looking at me in the bath but good they said you need to pull the curtains to protect you from being seen by other guests . It so interesting to experience through your videos all these luxury places
Its always been on my bucket list to stay at the Atlantis and my daughter has always wanted to go to their water park.
One day hopefully 🤞
Thanks Tim for what can only be another fascinating review by you on this wonder of a hotel.
Thanks Tony
I’m from Iowa in the states, my son and I want travel after he graduates high school. We use your channel to help research locations and hotels. We both enjoy you! Thanks!
Like a grotesque, over the top Trafford Centre
All style over substance
Slightly warmer than Manchester though 😂
@@andrewwaller5913 Cloudy though!
@@SquishyPS3 Wait until June and its 48c !
As a suite guest, you should have had access to the Imperial Club Lounge serving complimentary snacks and afternoon tea and drinks throughout the day and the spa facilities. One of the best bits about staying there!
Not for me. I’d keep well clear.
Saw this hotel of course when visiting back in late 2015 but didn't choose to stay here. Wow! Quite expensive but you can also tell it's high quality too. Great vlog. Thanks!
Looks amazing tim
That glass sculpture in the lobby is a Chihuly Sculpture. He truly is a great artist.
The glass sculpture chandelier shown in the hotel foyer is by America glass artist Dale Chihuly. ❤
Great to visit the Seattle site.
@@cannavaras agreed, I loved my visit to see his art in Seattle. When I travel I look to see if there are pieces of his art that I can visit.
So refreshing to hear a good old honest review. Thank you 😊
Wow the decor to the room is absolutely beautiful
I think so too!
@@WalkWithMeTim how do you deal with the heat in these exotic places? I struggle with the heat in Spain lol
Mate, intro, editing, soundtrack timing, you are moving up the tube ladder!
Keep it up ol boi.
Your early subscriber in Japan, lotsa love!
Much appreciated!
This is so artificial looking to me like Las Vegas without the people..
I hate artificial things, especially Las Vegas, but when I went to this hotel my mind was blown and it is the best hotel in the world, closest you’ll get to perfect! 👌
What a lovely hotel room feels nice and cozy great video as always Tim couldn’t Gaby and thumps come with you
